Most importantly, she has done an excellent job. Most recently, my daughter's cap fell off her filling on a Saturday, just two days before starting school. My daughter was scared, and I was desperate to figure out what to do. I texted Dr. Susie, and she responded right away, walked us through what to do in the meantime, and told us she would see my daughter first thing Monday. Monday was a day off for her office, and she wasn't even sure if she would be able to get her assistants to come in, but she still made sure my daughter was taken care of. We went in Monday, and Dr. Susie was able to put the cap back on with no issues. She even followed up with us the next day to make sure my daughter was doing okay. That level of care means so much, especially when it comes to your child. Dr. Susie is extremely knowledgeable, and someone I completely trust with my daughter's dental care. We recently missed an appointment that was allegedly scheduled for a Friday, yet I never received a phone call reminder, and had the appointment scheduled for Friday as my children aren't in school Friday's. Despite the apparent communication breakdown, I was charged a missed appointment fee of $90 and informed that the charge would stand because it was considered a missed appointment. What was most upsetting was the lack of consideration for our long standing relationship with the practice. Rather than working with us to understand what happened, the office immediately enforced the fee and suggested that if I was unhappy with the balance, I could transfer my children's records elsewhere. Customer service and communication matter, especially in a pediatric practice where families place their trust for years. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling undervalued as a long term patient and ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere. I hope the office will take future concerns from loyal patients more seriously and improve its communication processes.

My billing was off and this started at the beginning of COVID. I called and talked to them and they half-heartedly explained the billing. Long story short, I eventually was sent to collections for a $17 bill after already paying my co-pay after the visit. I called asked them to explain why it was higher after I already paid some. She was extremely rude to me after I asked if I could pay it off to them and just deal with my insurance and said: Uck, no! I then asked if I could get a new appointment for her and my son, and she very rudely said that it had to be paid off before she could invite us back. I just tried to pay it off? She hung up really quickly after that and I even asked my husband if I was the one being rude on the phone because I was so shell shocked about how rude I was treated. So that's the story of how I got sent to collections over a bill that didn't make sense, tried to pay it off, then left their practice.

I read the bad, read the good, and decided to give them a try. I called, explained my situation, and boom, same day visit to make sure everything was ok, then a follow up the next day for a temp. Fast, efficient, easy. Now, because this was an emergent issue, I didn't take the time to go through all of the hoops to find an in-network provider with my insurance provider. I know this could've lead me to a search for a second job, but fortunately I was covered, even though I was not in-network. I did have questions about cost, and how my coverage would apply; let me tell you, they broke everything down, and explained everything I could expect, and even refunded me fees that they clawed back from my insurance. I wanted to know how my coverage would work, since they were out of network, and they gave me a printout of how my coverage would be applied over their range of services. It turns out that even though they're not in my network, everything is still reasonably covered so I'm joining their club! A week later, my crown was ready; they got it fitted, seated, and got me out the door in under an hour. No pain, no problems, just premium work! On my original crown, you could feel the seam where the crown met the tooth, but the new one is on there and I can't tell where my tooth stops and the crown starts, it's completely seamless! It's like magic; sweet, sexy, dental magic! I was back on track towards earning my Ozempic prescription the very next day. Alex, Luli, Dr. Kuo, you guys are amazing, thank you!!!
