Disclaimer- we haven't actually signed up yet for braces, this is just based on our first consultation appointment. First of all, I was able to get an appointment for the week after I called. When signing up for the appointment Sofia let me know she needed 5-10 min to get info, setting clear expectations for the call. I'm very busy on work calls during the day so this actually made a big deal to me. When we arrived, I hadn't filled out the paperwork. No worries, she says I could fill it out while there. (They have branded pens to use) Most importantly, she instantly made my 8 year old comfortable with a huge smile, promise of treats after the appointment, and explanations given directly to her about what was going to happen. They have a modern X-ray machine great for kids that doesn't involve as many mouth contortions. The dentist came in and explained to us what she was seeing. She had a very nice, calm demeanor. She asked insightful questions and, in the end, recommended we wait and see. She didn't want to do two sets of braces - now and later. She noticed some gum inflammation that the dentist didn't mention the week before and gave us new blue toothpaste that would help my daughter identify where to brush. Sofia was able to check my insurance and provide estimates for what the recommended approach would cost. When we left my daughter grabbed an icy pop (a slightly strange treat leaving a dentist). When we were in the car on the way home she asked when we could go back. I call that a resounding success since she has disliked the dentist her whole little life. As an adult seeking treatment, it's easy to feel overwhelmed about your options. Let me just say Dr. Lynskey and her staff are the answer to all of your questions! I just finished my treatment and I could not be happier! They asked for my input throughout the entire process. I always felt comfortable to voice my opinion because they really listen to your needs. When our sons dentist informed us that braces were in his future we "shopped" around. We spoke with friends, friends of friends, read reviews and went in person to see for ourselves. We discovered that there were not only huge differences in price but also "suggested" procedures/type of orthodontics he supposedly needed!! I was shocked by the differences! I never leave reviews, but sometimes you have an AMAZING experience and it compels you! I love the staff & Dr. Lynskey. From my initial consultation with Jenny, I knew I had chosen the right office to complete my Invisalign treatment. Jenny is so warm, compassionate, caring, and really took the time to understand what I was hoping for in my "perfect" smile. She took the time to ask questions to get to know me personally. I instantly felt like I had made a friend. Jenny & Dr. Lynskey worked with me to outline my 9 month Invisalign plan, they helped me understand what my insurance would cover (and wouldn't), and helped me create a monthly payment plan that worked with my budget. It was a really seamless, pleasant experience. Throughout my visits in the following months, I've gotten to know some of the staff and all of them are equally lovely & sweet. When working with my teeth, they are gentle to my sensitivities and kept me informed throughout whatever process they were doing. Most appointments were under an hour (with exception of a few - but I was always given notice of when to expect a longer appointment. Super appreciated!) I just picked up my retainers today, completing my 9 months of treatment. I am so happy with my smile! Dr. Lynskey always asked throughout the process how I felt, if there was anything I wanted corrected. She saw the opportunity to contour some of my teeth to look more even... I hadn't even considered that, but my teeth indeed look so much better because of it. Her attention to detail & keen eye is unmatched! My 10 year old daughter had her 1st consultation with Dr Lynskey today. I am impressed with the high level of customer service we experienced. The staff was very nice, we felt welcome since the second we walked through the door. We were taken care of immediately and all the staff was so nice and friendly. The Dr was very thorough and explained everything very well, Jennifer, the Dr's assistant was also so welcoming and nice, she spent more time with us explaining and answering questions. Even though today was our 1st visit, we felt like we knew her for a long time. You have many options in our area for Ortho support, from big offices to small, to ones that are on busy streets to ones down hidden drives. Some are in some insurance plans, some are in others. So, how to decide? Well, I suggest you read this review, and see why I think it should be Dr Lynskey. Upon extensive review of all possible Ortho options for our son, we downselected to 3 for personal visits and cost estimations. While the other two places seemed competent, Only Dr. Lynskey provided a full binder of information on costs, methods, etc, to back up and support what we were told verbally. She also was willing and able to negotiate total price for cash / payment terms. That is just the start of it! Once my son was into Orthodontic care, the level of support and attention provided by the Doctor and her staff far exceeded the level of support I had received myself some years before in my own treatments, and even THAT place was way better than others I checked out. So Doc is 2 steps up from "average"! I encourage you to NOT take my word for it.. GO interview at least a few different Orthos.. get the total cost, payment terms, detailed, etc... and you will see my case is not a fluke I hope! My dentist recommended I get a consultation with Dr. Lynskey. I knew nothing about her office. My daughter also needs braces and an expander so we both went in for a consultation. From the moment we opened the door, I felt welcomed and cared for. In fact, even before that.. From the moment they answered the phone when I called to make an appointment! Jennifer is highly personable and very friendly. She made me feel comfortable and listened so well on the phone. Dr. Lynskey really knows what she's talking about and outlined a very detailed plan for our teeth. I had already been to see 2 other orthodontists and had a proposal from one that I was thinking of using. I was told up front that that was a better deal and I should go with it. However, the cost for my daughter's expander was about the same in both offices. I just love the feel of Dr. Lynskey's office. The staff is highly professional and friendly. Everyone has a big smile on their face when you walk in. We haven't even really started treatment yet for my daughter but we received a hand written note in the mail thanking her for "being so brave" at her impression appointment. i just went in yesterday. I decided to switch orthodontist because I wasn't happy with my old orthodontist. I had lost my bottom retainer and decided to come here to get a new one after reading reviews. And let me tell you, not only was it an easy process to switch with them but they were the sweetest ever! It felt like I had been with them my whole orthodontic journey! They are very engaging and you don't feel like just another patient the way I did at my old office. Also I'm going to include that price to replace just one retainer that I needed was half the price that other place were asking! When our dentist let us know that our son was ready for braces, we started the "shopping process" for a good orthodontist. Let's face it - orthodontics are pricey so we wanted someone who was skilled at their profession, directly treated their patients (we didn't want to be passed around to different assistants each visit) and could communicate effectively with us AND our 11-year old. After much research and many conversations, we decided to seek treatment with Dr. Lynskey. And we have been nothing short of thrilled with that decision. I don't know where to start, from day one when I walked into this office I knew I was going to fall in love with the girls there. They were so welcoming & asked me what I needed to take care of. It was the warm welcome, as if I was walking into my own home. These past 2 years of me going to every appointment & the staff being so nice to me & working with my work schedule I knew if I made an appointment they were going to be reliable every time. You rarely find Dr's of any variety with this level of patient care, "bedside" or rather, chair-side manner and attention to detail. I was looking for a new orthodontist in the area, and found Dr. Lynskey on Yelp after searching and reading many different reviews. I have a retainer and it was starting to rub the inside of my mouth, therefore I needed some help. I went in thinking that I would need a new retainer but the assistants took a look and explained that they just needed to adjust it slightly. I was elated that I would not have to spend a couple hundred dollars on a new retainer. Dr. Lynskey spent several minutes explaining why it was hurting me and also ensuring me that I could keep my retainer and it would keep my teeth in place.
