I had no issues getting an appointment, very clean both in the waiting room and in the dental room. My hygienist Beth was awesome and did a great job on my cleaning. Dr. Matt was really nice, professional and got right to business. Plenty of parking, really nice location right outside Wickford village, cute building. If you need dental care, you're by definition unhappy with your dentist. Nevertheless, some dentists do a better job of earning your trust than others (after all, few of us are qualified to evaluate an x-ray properly). I trusted this dentist for several years, but after a series of increasingly frustrating dental-care spirals, I decided to leave. The worst kind of dental visit is the one where you're going to the dentist so the dentist can fix his own mistakes. What's worse, my patience with the office staff finally wore out. Their no-nonsense approach might be efficient, but inflexibility does not always make for happy customers.

The staff was so nice. I wasn't nervous at all. From the check in to paying my co pay. Everyone was amazing. I had the woman dentist- forgot her name, her and the 2 assistants were amazing and I felt nothing at all. I hope I don't need to go back but they're awesome I do need to!!!

I made the appointment and was asked if I wanted two appts - one with a consultation and one with the extraction. Well of course I didn't want TWO appts, I just wanted to get it done. I did not get a consultation, but when I asked the receptionist why it would be needed, she said "You know to discuss what is needed for your tooth." Well they had an Xray from another dentist. Seemed a waste of time to me. I told them about the anxiety when I made the appt ("I have extreme anxiety, so I may need addtl support during this"), I told them when I showed up (I have anxiety, I need whatever you can provide to make this easier). I told the nurse. I told the doctor. I told everyone who would listen I needed as much support as they had. Everyone nodded. There was no nitrous, no offer of sedation, no additional support beyond "we can numb you longer" which, bless them, is not really helpful when you have severe anxiety. I cried while they extracted it, but I held very very still while crying, except for the trembling, because my childhood taught me to be still during traumatic moments when I am being hurt. There were no blankets offered, no headphones available, no tvs, no distraction. Nothing at all really. Just me in a freezing cold room having trauma done to me. Does it make it any better that my insurance paid for it? Not really. I like to think Dr Castaneda would have offered nitrous or additional supports if they were available to the practice. I would have paid for any of it, no question - we could have afforded it. So clearly they just...don't? Which is awful, really. Not even one sad faded poster on the ceiling for me to stare at instead of a bright light. We are full time nomads. I saw a gyno in Austin, TX who had nitrous for the anxious. Too bad they didn't offer dental work. Spent the evening sobbing and being held. Thanks for the trauma. Will bring it to my therapist next time we meet. (three stars were for getting the tooth out, I suppose, which needed to happen, but holy crap is this going to take time to process)

Besides the amazing front desk staff, they have an amazing dental provider and it just seems like the whole team is super helpful supportive and they genuinely care about you and your family members Dental needs. I forgot to take a picture of the outside, but it looks like a cute little house as you're driving towards the library and I have lived in town for over a year and a half and I never noticed it until my kids had their first appointment. I appreciate her gentle manner and understanding. She recently discovered a re infection of an old root canal. Her hygienist noticed a problem and Dr Rogers confirmed and promptly sent me to a specialist for care. She has completed many dental crowns on me and my wife. She has completed exquisite bridgework on each of us. I rate her an "A" quality person and dentist. I send all my friends to her with utmost confidence!

I signed and returned the document indicating I wanted the work done. * Waited 2 weeks for a response, then I had to contact them. * Inquired about payment, would get back to me by the next day, had to go in person one day further to get that info. * I was offered a payment plan through outside vendor, if one day late, a 40% interest would be charged for the duration of the balance due. * Other option, full payment day of procedure. If used a credit card, charged extra 3%. * If full payment via debit or check, no recourse on work performed if needed. * Procedure was scheduled for a Wednesday, sedation medication was supposed to begin Tuesday night. Contacted office several times on Tuesday awaiting the prescription, said it would be called in by the end of day. Staff verified pharmacy by phone. * Prescription was called into wrong pharmacy, which was closed for the day upon my arrival. * Contacted answering service again, and was told Dr. would call in to correct pharmacy, which had 24 hour prescription service. Left pharmacy after waiting an unacceptable amount of time with no prescription called in. * Dentist might be good, I will never find out. * Staff dropped the ball at every chance. Staff response to any calls were always responded via text, never a call back. * I won't be back.
