Just being able to hear the water waves, and seeing the sun glistening against the water is a tranquil vibe. On the some weekends there are people giving birthday parties or barbecuing at the Barbecue Grills. There is a Fishing Pier, Parking lot area, Pavilions (Small), Picnic Tables, a Playground where my kids play and swing, a Sand Volleyball Court, Trails for Hiking / Biking. I enjoy the peace and convenience of the view to walk around the lakeside in a calm setting.

From potting plants to goat yoga and even a train ride, there was plenty to do. The fest was geared more towards kids so if you're planning for a day of fun in the area, put it on your calendar. It's also dog friendly so if you want to bring a furry friend you're able to. We had a lot of fun although you can do just about everything in around 30 minutes. There's a few food trucks as well if you're looking for a bite to eat and there were free gift bags on the way out with snacks, which were nice. A quick and cute event for adults, a day of fun for kids.

Be sure to check out the shaded playground area, sandy volleyball court, drinking water fountain, 31 trees, basketball court and lots of benches scattered around and one picnic table by the volleyball court. We went here for Salsa night and it was tons of fun. There was a live band playing salsa,…read moremeringue, and cumbia music as people were dancing on the unpaved pathway in front of the stage and all along the park. It was a good atmosphere because families were out there with lounge chairs, blankets, food, and drinks. It's free of admission and you can park in the garage across from the park. I do recommend bringing bug spray because we got bit a few times. It is neat to see that a city will put on a spectacle such as this because the park was completely packed with smiling faces.
