This trail is nestled in a nondescript area backing up residential homes, but is still surprisingly quiet. The area we walked was almost completely flat, not much climbing here (my preference) but it was still a nice walk. The trail forms a large loop, and is about 5 miles if doing the full length along with offshoots. I'd probably come back to use as a beginner mountain bike trail, but my preference is more challenging trails for hikes.

We walked off the paved paths and ended up lost in the middle of the forest but it was fun being surrounded by nature. If you walk on the paved path, then it'll loop around the entire park. The nature trails had some dead ends which sucks because we were hoping it would connect back to the main path somehow. The only surprising thing is the limited parking spot available. There's only one small parking lot with 7 SPOTS available for the park, and they were all taken by others. We had to park our cars at Chick-fil-a and walked across the street just to get to the park.

No ATM's etc. There was a metal box it seemed, but I wouldn't deposit any cash into that. They need a better means of collecting the $7. maybe at the entrance? Maybe they are working on that. (smile) Overall, it was a great experience and I did catch some buffalo fish. My neighbors caught a nice channel catfish using cut bait.

We had no idea what to expect but it was a smooth concrete trail with tonssss of trees all around you. It was. So. Green. And the cool breeze could not have been more perfect. The trail has a couple of different options for you to take but overall I think the furthest is still under two miles. There were a couple of bikers and plenty of room to bring a stroller. Dog friendly. Plenty of resting areas and check points. Give it a try! There were all age groups there as well. Very simple trail to bond with your parents and/or your little one. Taking care of your mental health is wealth! Get outside!

I've only been through half of the trails and have really enjoyed it. The trail is paved and wide. There's nice little pockets where it goes through trees or next to trees so you get some nice shade on your walk. I'm not sure if there's unpaved trails but from what I can tell, the area right behind the municipal complex does not have unpaved trails because the trees and bushes seem pretty thick. I've seen both bikers and walkers. I think this park is a good size for walking/running but probably a bit small for biking. I say that because on my walk I saw the same bikers multiple times because they're having to do loops because of the size of the trail system.

As you enter through Winnwood Park off Beltline, there is a small trail entrance on the left. Or you can continue straight through the neighborhood and you will find another park along the way, this is Celestial Park. If you keep going around the corner you will reach the other point of the trail entrance/exit. Kind of getting a 3 in 1 here, each park boasts their own special features. No parking anywhere so you will just have to walk and find the way.

The trial is good for all skill levels as well. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, bikes. The trail starts at Towne Centre Drive and Franklin Drive intersection and ends along the west bound frontage road of Interstate 30. Pros -Very wide lanes. This is perfect for social distancing because it allows you to walk far enough from other people without feeling smothered or it being too crowded -the lanes are perfect for bikes as well because it's very spacious. -beautiful scenery. The trail leads through a nice pond and bench areas that gives you a nice spot to rest and enjoy the view. Cons. -short distance. this section in the park is kind of short. If you're riding a bike, then it wont take long to finish the trail. It's about 4-5 miles total -the trail has a lot of incline. Because it's on part of a hill area, there will be parts that go uphill and downhill which can make it a little dangerous.
