He has a competent woman who works his desk. But his most important feature is that he goes above and beyond the call of duty. My husband had what turned out to be a torn and detached retina. My husband is not even a patient of his yet Dr. Connelly spent a lot of time with him on the phone and basically diagnosed my husband over the phone. There aren't enough good things to say about him. If it weren't for Dr. Connelly, my husband might well have lost sight in that eye.

I called the day before the July 4th holiday as a shot in the dark to see if I could schedule an exam today. His guy was out but he referred me to an amazing ophthalmologist, Dr. Colella. After the exam I went to meet Chris. This is a quaint little shop and Chris was so kind and helpful. I tried frames on and he gave me much needed opinions. The prices are very reasonable for frames and lenses. He even gave me a sample of content lenses to see if I can get used to mono vision in place of bi focal lenses. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm so thankful Chris picked up the phone when I called. I wish I had found him years ago!

Once I picked up my glasses, they asked if I could drive back, 30 mins each direction, just to have them adjusted because someone was going on break (but was still there, making eye contact). I will go to literally any other location when it's convenient for me... the customer. Until then, these glasses are already driving me bonkers. Waste of time. Like other reviewers, my husband was 10 minutes late once for an appointment due to driving slow in a snowstorm. We were turned away with very little regard for our time and effort to keep the appointment.

I'm typically not a fan of ai when it replaces a human but in this case it definitely helped. Also the VR portion of the test where you put on the headset was very nice. I have a bad habit of moving my eyes and head which definitely affected previous experiences. The VR aspect told you exactly when you moved your eyes allowing me to get a more accurate prescription.
