We LOVED our wedding at the Roberts Mansion. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, and we had the best time. Denise and her team were excellent to work with. The changes they are making are great. The mansion is beautiful, the upstairs areas to get ready in are fun and accommodating. There are so many cute touches that Denise does for the wedding, from providing the juice for mimosas, having an awesome welcome sign, to being willing to get things we may have needed, she was awesome. I love the many great places for photos for not only us but for our guests. We liked how the venue was outdoors and open but allowed for a lot of privacy still. The environment was relaxed and down to earth. We liked how everything was natural and classic, not overly done, or too much. The mansion and grounds are naturally beautiful so we felt no need to provide further decorations, the facilities are nice, and everything went perfectly. The location, being so close to downtown, was ideal for our out of town guests, which were many. Some were able to walk to the venue from where they stayed, and others took advantage of Uber. We even had our rehearsal dinner at the mansion, directly after our rehearsal, and that was great. I felt like we were truly able to appreciate the venue and spend time there. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or event. I seriously cannot express how much fun we had.I figured I would have fun at my wedding, but I expected more stress and that I would be too busy saying hi to everyone to fully enjoy the day, However, we both felt relaxed, we had time to talk to people, and we were able to enjoy our wedding with a lot of laughs and fun. There isn't a thing I would have changed, and Denise, her staff, our amazing wedding party, and the Roberts Mansion are a huge reason why the day was a success. read more

Although the property was advertised as a B&B and as an inn, it is actually an events venue. We never saw a staff person. When we arrived the common/public spaces were filled with plywood tables in preparation for an event, so the parlor, library/sitting rooms were unavailable. There were workers in the kitchen painting and when we returned to the property the inn and our room smelled of paint. We opened windows and put a towel under the door but still woke with headaches. The owner did not inform that either the event or the painting were occurring. This really belies the advertising as an inn. It's really a room inside an event space for the same price as a room in an inn. Had we been informed of this, we would have gone elsewhere. Their notice on the website about 'some areas may be unavailable' If there is an event is not adequate to explain or inform potential guests of what that actually means, and looks like. We made reservations well in advance and could have been informed. The toxic smell of the paint was inexcusable. The room itself, which was well appointed and had an en suite bathroom, also had big chips in the wall paint, three bare hanging hooks, and the smoke alarm was hanging open without a battery. This was a really unpleasant experience. The owner should keep the events and hotel aspects of this business separate as the overnight guests get a totally different experience as a result of them trying to do both. We would not return to this property and recommend that potential guests clarify if there is going to be an event while they are intending to book a room--or be prepared to live in a space like the back area of the Ramada Inn holding a conference. read more

My wife and I celebrated our second anniversary with a trip to Spokane and stayed at the Roberts Mansion for two nights in the Secret Garden Suite. We loved it. It's a wonderful place to stay, the staff were very nice and helpful, the service was great, the breakfast was delicious, the suite was very nice and the added privacy of the Secret Garden Suite was nice. Mary, the owner, met us after both of our breakfasts and was very nice to talk to, helpful in suggesting activities around the city, quite informative about some history of the city as well. These people will take very good care of you and will do their best to make sure you have a great stay! The mansion is gorgeous as are the grounds. Loved the Secret Garden! Roberts Mansion is an absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding or a shower, Christmas party or any event, The rooms are gorgeous and the Secret Garden is so romantic. I came up for a wedding for my best friend and her wonderful husband. The wedding couldn't have been more beautiful or more perfect. Denise the promoter and planner is so nice and so professional. She is on top of ever small detail. She makes sure everything does on without a hitch. She is amazing. Denise is so hard working and I would recommend Robert's Mansion to anyone that wants a perfect wedding. She has wonderful ideas and you will be happy with the results. read more

This place was awesome. I cannot see why anyone would choose just a regular hotel over this place. From the minute we got there my wife and I enjoyed it and it got better all the way through the breakfast the next morning. Mary, the owner, was very nice to talk to. And Tammy, the Inn Keeper, was also very nice to talk to. The neighborhood was great. There was a little coffee shop just up the road one block that was nice. Later that night there was a note left for us letting us know there was desert in the fridge, cheesecake! We took tons of pictures, would love to go to a wedding there and we already want to go back. We were fortunate to stay at the EJ Roberts mansion to celebrate our anniversary. We were met at the door with cookies and given a tour of the historic building upon arrival. The mansion is situated in a trendy part of Spokane with great dining just a half block away with easy access to the downtown core. From our private balcony we watched the sun set after we enjoyed a wonderful walk through the historic district. The following morning we were treated to a three course breakfast in the formal dining room. The food and service were absolutely outstanding. Can't wait to stay there again! read more

My husband & I spent our 32nd anniversary at the mansion. We had a truly memorable time, first with a delicious dinner at the Garden Bistro just a couple of steps around the corner, then back to the beautiful Victorian mansion filled with antiques, exquisite lighting and wonderful furnishings. The comfy down filled bedding felt like home but better. The breakfast was multi courses of luscious fruit blintzes, hot coffee, eggs, bacon, mixed fruit, juice and more! All in all a fabulous experience that we would recommend to anyone! read more

This was a great place to stay for my wife and I. The neighborhood was historic and quiet. We stayed in the Mary Tracy suite. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Big claw foot tub, high vaulted ceilings we enjoyed it all. We had the entire place to ourselves it was awesome. Great neighborhood to walk around. Good hamburgers at Browns Tavern. Had coffee on the corner just a relaxing get away from technology. Highly recommend for those who are looking for Peace. read more

We had an amazing experience at this wonderful bed and breakfast that was greatly enhanced by the personal touches provided by the inn-keeper and her lovely staff, Tami. My husband and I had a great time to reconnect in this historic and beautiful home. The personal touches to recreate the ambience of yesteryear are incredible. We came across the Roberts Mansion by accident, and so glad we did!!! With it being our last night in Spokane, it worked out perfect for us. We found the staff to be very accomadating and with plenty of information on the history of this hidden gem. Located close to restaurants and in a neighbor hood with historic homes on a city walk that shows a wonderful history of Spokane. We plan on returning to Spokane, when we do, we'll be staying here for sure!!! read more

Just driving away from the most wonderful stay at the Roberts's Mansion. We rented the Mansion for a family gathering and it was a great way to gather and visit. The Billiard room downstairs was enjoyed nightly. The mansion staff is accommodating while their presence is barley noticeable. The Mansion's gardens are lovely. Located in a beautiful neighborhood, fun to walk in and visit local restaurants. Over all a comfortable and enjoyable stay. read more

This place is everything I could ask for and more. The mansion is incredible! Such a beautiful house with lots of interesting history. The location is lovely. Many cafés and restaurants right around the corner . The browns addition area is historic and has many mansion that give that area of Spokane such a quaint and unique quality. We stopped at Roberts Mansion on our way home from Glacier Park. It was a totally lucky find! The rooms are really well done and the history behind the place is very interesting and well preserved. It is also located in a really nice part of Spokane with restaurants right around the corner and a nice neighborhood to walk in. Stunning, lovingly restored Victorian mansion with incredible attention to detail. The hosts were very accommodating, welcoming and warm. 7 dear friends gathered here and enjoyed the sitting rooms, gardens, and very comfy beds. The original giant cast iron bathtub is to die for! For the price of a boring chain hotel, you can instead stay in historic splendor--the choice is obvious! read more

This is a marvelous getaway spot. We attended a local convention and chose to sstay here instead of the contract hotel.. The staff are wonderful.
