My review is so high because of the people we encountered at this hotel. We had a group of 17 people (and a dog!) staying in 5 rooms, and the customer service was outstanding. We needed a different kind of room for a couple of our guests, and the staff made the transition so easy. We also had various forms of payment, and again, the staff shown through. For everything we asked, they responded so positively. Also, the wonderful humans that manned to breakfast room were so friendly and kind. I would stay again at this hotel in a heartbeat! Room had a comfortable king bed. The room also had a coffee maker and mini refer. The daily breakfast was nice with a variety of food - sausage one day and ham the next, eggs, fruit, potatoes, waffles, juice, coffee, and yogurt. The hotel is right across the street from the convention center and if you wanted to, you could walk to downtown shopping. We walked through the Gonzaga campus to get to The Warehouse where our granddaughter was playing in a basketball tournament. About a 20 minute walk. read more

First the good news! Great location for a walkable downtown Spokane location. Very friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean. The downside of this location is that it is on a very busy street so there is definitely road noise in the morning which probably explains the very reasonable price. Would we stay again? Unfortunately, we did not know it was Hoop Fest weekend. Tbs hotel raised their rates over $100 because of it! The hotel is noisy and definitely not worth over $300 for a room! Our biggest concern is the fact that we are "members', we get "reward points " for using BW but there doesn't appear to be any benefits with that! This is "price gouging " at best!! read more

The staff at this hotel are AWESOME. They were exceptionally kind to us and our dog every time we saw them. They treated our pup like the princess she believes herself to be and gave her so many treats and pets that she was in doggie heaven. The staff also were always pleasant to talk with and consistently helpful. We're talking all levels of staff, not just the front desk. Additionally, the hotel was so conveniently placed for our needs that we didn't need to drive anywhere during our entire stay. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

I have been staying at Best Western's exclusively for a few years now, and this was the worst experience I have had so far. My ID was not checked upon check in, we were told that we could only have 1 car per room (I was meeting a girlfriend for a girls weekend) so we ended up scrambling to find somewhere for one of the cars. This information was not given to me when I booked the room and upon further inspection, it was not on the website that I could see. When we went to check out, I let the man at the front desk know we were out of the room & I was met with "I emailed your receipts". There was no "Thank you for staying" or anything of that nature. About an hour after we checked out, we realized that we left some valuables. We made it 45 minutes from the hotel, so I called to see if they were there, whoever I spoke with, said that they would just let us know if they found anything & we can pay to have it shipped. I live over 3 hours from the hotel, I can't just wait to find out and I would rather drive back than have to pay to ship a pair of cowboy boots. I asked for somebody to check, and without an explanation, the line went dead. When I called back, the guy told me that he hung up because he needed to call housekeeping which was not articulated to me. I've worked in hotels for years, I know that you can put someone on hold & call housekeeping. I have never had this bad of an experience at any hotel, let alone a Best Western. I will not be staying here the next time I'm in Spokane. read more

Beware of booking here. They pulled our reservation through a third party claiming that they did not have the room we booked available. We booked a king room with a jacuzzi on feb 12 for the 23rd. We got our confirmation email etc. and everything was good. The day of the reservation they called and said the room was not available and they could offer us a king balcony room. When i booked i verified the price and availability through their own website as well as others as i always do before making a reservation. They said i could take the lesser room for the same price or cancel. If we had been traveling we would have been hosed into a room we didn't want with no choice. This was a valentines gift to my girlfriend who is going through cancer treatments. What an absolute let down and terrible customer service. read more

It was my first work trip and we found the Best Western not only fit our budget, but convenient location by the convention center. The service was amazing! Friendly and helpful! The room was a great size and clean. I loved that at night they offered warm cookies and cocoa. Breakfast was ready exactly at 6, great options. This was an outstanding location for our stay during the 2019 roller skating national championships. A short walk across the street to the convention center for our events, and smack dab in the center of tons of restaurants and bars. It was so convenient that the only time we used our car was to go pick up groceries when we first arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are games and puzzles if you feel like hanging out in the lobby on the comfy couches. The room rate was reasonable too. A couple things to be aware of: There's no comfortable seating in the double queen rooms. So it's not ideal if you will be spending lots of time hanging out in your room. It wasn't an issue for us. Also, there was a surprising amount of road noise at night on Spokane Falls Blvd. You might avoid some of that if you request a room on the back side of the hotel. Overall, we were really happy with our choice to stay here, and hope our travels bring us back! read more

Stayed for a night because I was in town for a conference. I can't really comment on affordability and value because this was part of a package deal I paid for previously in combination with my ticket for said conference. The room was very spacious & clean and the beds were very comfortable! Definite pluses! I can't really comment on the "thin wall" issue another yelper mentioned, I mean point taken - I could definitely hear laughter from neighboring rooms but it didn't bug me too much personally because I was too tired and knocked out on the white clouds (aka their beds) and drifted off to sleep. The room can get too cold or too hot depending on if you blast the A/C or the heater (depending on what season you're visiting the area), but once you get used to it and adjust it to your liking, it should be smooth sailing. The room also had a Keurig in it with coffee and tea options, which really helped in the morning. I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast and didn't have any high expectations. So, when I saw that there was a pretty good selection of breakfast foods my stomach was extremely pleased. One less meal I have to purchase while I'm away and trying to save some money, Haha...am I right? There was eggs, sausage, muffins, yogurt, coffee, juices, fruit, waffles, etc. Just don't have high expectations when you're munching away, otherwise you're probably not going to be happy. If you want breakfast breakfast....you could always opt to go to neighboring coffee shops, grocery stores, or restaurants to get your fix. Also, just want to add that the staff was also really super friendly and attended to my friend and I very well. We came later than the check-in time and it was super late at night, but the front desk person was super accommodating, answered any questions we had, and conversed with us before we headed up to our rooms. The hotel was overall really clean and I feel like depending on what price you pay, it's not a bad option. It's in close proximity to the convention center and other shops/cafes/etc., so depending on where you're heading in Spokane, not a bad option. read more

The hotel is convenient to the city center. This pet friendly facility has a breakfast bar with hot eggs & bacon, biscuits and gravy, fruit & pastries. The coffee was available all day. The room was tidy and spacious for a 2 queen room. The fridge and microwave were good amenities. I'm not a fan of the single serve K cup coffee pot but it was a available. read more

It's a good Best Western but not a great Best Western. I judge all Best Westerns again the Pasco BW. It was OK, but my room was noisy with noise coming in from others above me or next to me until I complained, then it got quiet. The front desk guy did come to my room and reset my cable box so I could watch TV and that was very nice of him. The breakfast was good but The Andy Griffith Show was on the TV in the morning. It was OK but I prefer the news or weather. I probably won't go out of my way to spend another night here, but it was OK. I was also a little disappointed they don't let guest, even rewards members park inside the covered garage. When this was the Travel Lodge I could always park inside. They charge an extra $10 now. read more

Pros: Attractive room; comfortable bed and pillows; modern amenities including Keurig; friendly service; central location, and more. I realize the list of pros is a good one, but the cons outweigh them unfortunately. Cons: breakfast is... not quality food except prepackaged items like yogurt. (In other words, avoid the eggs & sausage) Located across from the Convention Center, the traffic is incredibly loud. The soaps are very poor quality- mostly water, and the one small bar provided is a strange consistency... waxy, yet smooshy, and doesn't do the job. I'm quite surprised by just how horribly loud the rooms, upper floors, and hallways are, constantly. I can hear people coughing, sneezing, and full conversations. I don't remember the last time I had this much trouble falling and staying asleep in a hotel. Cannot believe this room is $250 a night?!! I've stayed in better places for a fraction of the price. Usually a fan of Best Western, I would not stay here again. read more

We stayed for one night at this hotel and got the very nice suite with the whirlpool for 2! Check-in and -out were quick and easy, parking (outside in​ their parking lot) is free, as well as wifi. We had a good nights sleep and a relaxing bath; the breakfast wasn't very special and the breakfast area is way too small for all the hungry people on the weekend. I have to say the General Manager Meredith Rainville was amazing at my last stay. I was traveling from Missoula Montana to Seattle and The Best Western Plus on 33 W.Spokane Falls Blvd is the best location. Tons of great restaurants and bars in the area you can walk to. The hotel was very clean and the housekeeping staff members and the Houseman were on top of their game with customers service to me. Meredith Rainville was the best informing on what was going on and she has a excellent customer service skillset. Keep up the great work and I will be back sooner rather than later. read more

We were very pleased with the King Suite that we had. It was very spacious with all of the amenities we could ask for. It had 2 full bathrooms, a whirlpool tub in the bedroom, an air conditioner in each room so we were comfortable, the mini bar was nice and convenient, the balcony was huge and nice to sit on and watch the evening go by, and the king bed was very comfortable. This is our second time staying here and will stay again. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for a great room that is clean and comfortable. read more

My recent stay at this location was amazing! The location was perfect and close to so much. Recent renovations were excellent (love the comfortable chair in the room!), decor was stylish and modern. I loved the thoughtful details - the citrus bath products and lotion, the Keurig machine and coffee in the room, coffee bar downstairs, cookies every evening, lobby was comfortable, etc. And the staff was just awesome, everyone from the front desk to housekeeping and kitchen was so warm and friendly. The hotel and our room were clean. The staff put together our "breakfast" orders in bags ready for pickup in the morning as part of their covid19 measures. The location has its pros and cons. It's in downtown and walking distance to many restaurants, stores and Riverfront Park. However, the traffic noise was terrible. Our room was in the Southwest corner of the building where we were subjected to the traffic noise of Browne St and Main Ave. Day and night, even with the a/c running, nothing could drown out all the vehicles accelerating up the hill. All we could hear at night up to and beyond midnight were cars equipped with modified exhaust flooring it at green lights, so be prepared for interrupted sleep. read more

This hotel was perfect for my stay in Spokane. It is situated downtown in a perfect place to be able to walk to the mall, the park, and many cool bars and restaurants. Additionally, if offered free parking in the lot or garage. The room is clean, spacious, and very well designed. It has a refrigerator, comfortable bed, good lighting, nice TV with many channels, and lots of free bottled water. The breakfast is great and lasts until 10am on weekends (which is a necessity for me). The gym is small but has very nice equipment and three televisions. Ultimately, I couldn't have asked for a better place for my stay. read more

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. When we checked in, we got free garage parking after they found out it was our anniversary, and as a gold member we got free snacks too. The rooms are clean and big and the bathrooms are very nice. My only complaint was the breakfast- it was incredibly disappointing. There was plenty of variety but items were stale and over cooked. My advice- stay here, but grab breakfast elsewhere. read more

The good thing was that they let my group check in early. We had adjoining rooms, and when we unlocked the door on one of them, it smelled like weed which I feel is something the cleaning staff should have noticed and fixed. Luckily, they moved us. Our group had 4 cars between the 8 of us, and nothing was mentioned about paying for extra parking at checkin, but was still charged to our bill. We would have paid extra parking but we would have liked to know about it, especially since we were given all parking passes at one time. One of the front desk ladies was very rude when we tried to discuss it. Also, when she saw our large group for the first time, she rudely assumed we would be loud and told us to "consider this our first warning" or we would be paying a fee. Overall, not very pleased. We stayed at this hotel for one night! After a rough trip from North Dakota to Washington. We found the first room we liked on Bring Fido app. What a great option that app provided us! Hotel was nicely decorated! Rooms almost looked brand new and the beds were fantastic! The lovely ladies at the front desk were very accommodating to or needs! They allowed us to check in early (thank you so much for that) and allowed us to buy two garage spaces for our vehicles since they were loaded with our house due to moving! Breakfast was AMAZING! It's your typical hotel breakfast, but with some added bonuses! So happy to have a good meal after long travels and fast food! They have a lovely seating area near food and near fireplace. read more

The beds are comfy and the hotel is clean, but the walls are super thin and the breakfast is awful. Listening to someone next door take a shower - it sounds like they're in the same room as me [creepy], and the breakfast - bananas too green and the sausage & eggs looked worse than even the usual cheap breakfast available at hotels. Most people were skipping it. So, they're just wasting food. Depending on price, a tolerable option. read more

Me, my husband and my toy poodle came here to see the newsies musical from Everett. We have stayed with our dog in several hotels before and never experienced service like this with or without our dog. It was exceptional! My husband called ahead of time to make reservations and ask about dog. Ashley, who answered said dog friendly but would like to watch dog anytime we where out or when we would be at musical. It's a three hour show... And I had wanted to possibly go out to eat and etc after. This at first was something that made me feel really uncomfortable and unsure of and haven't heard of a hotel of doing before.. My dog is a rescue I've had her for a year but she can be a pain, very needy and scared, but a very sweet and love of my life, I would only trust her in the best of hands! I didn't know where they would watch her and have her in a secure place... Ashley and Julie at front desk both absolutely amazing watched her several times for a good amount of time and had her right there with them at front counter. They give you a paper with all their dog rules and they follow them like they state In there written promise. She was right there with them at front desk every time I came back and taken care of very well and even taken on several nice walks in beautiful neighborhood. Looking at it now I liked it much better then when I have had to leave her alone in a hotel room she does not know. I couldn't have asked for better service if I even though of it! Free breakfast with basic good food fillers, clean rooms, and excellent customer service I have ever had at a hotel by Ashley and Julie all around when it came to dog and all other needs! We even decided to stay an extra day. Great place................ My one complaint is the tv... When I go on vacation I am mostly not In the room but when I am what I am most wanting is a comfy bed and some good tv before bed... No description when you change channels on what it is on so you have to guess or wait till commercial is over, it's direct tv I guess? Very few channels.. We would have been happy to pay extra to just to see a good movie before bed but no options whatsoever for that.. Even at cheaper hotels I have been there seemed to at least be a option for a movie even if you had to pay up the butt.. But no good tv selection whatsoever. Made me missing my basic old Comcast with on demand and 8 dollars a month Netflix. All I want when I'm in room in hotel is a good bed and good movie. Pretty bummed on not tv. read more

I had to leave a hotel I had checked into because it was awful, smelled like stale cigarettes, had a giant stain on the comforter and was so incredibly dirty. I had just driven 9 hours and I was exhausted, yet this hotel was so awful I had to leave. There was no way I was touching anything. I called this Best Western and immediately was given a room reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, everything was clean, the front desk man was incredibly friendly and I can finally go to sleep in peace. read more

If I could give less then one star I would. This is another example of a big company taking advantage of the little guy. We reserved a room for our weekend plans and our plans were cancelled for unfortunate incident. So the hotel said no problem if cancelled by the seventh . So we cancelled reservations on the seventh and they still charged my card when I called to fix the mistake they said can't help you because they couldn't rent out the room on the day we we supposed to stay . They will not refund our money even though we didn't even stay there very unprofessional and we will never stay at a best western (worst western ) more like read more

The hotel was fine close to hospital... which did not need .... you got a discount if you were going to see someone in the hospital... we did not get this discount. The rooms were ok... staff was ok. Parking was tight ... all in all a good choice for the area. read more

Our family travels all over the Western US for sports. We probably stay in hotels 40 nights per year. Throughout the 12 room nights that we stayed at the hotel, I didn't deal with an employee that didn't go out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. Nick checked us in the night of our arrival and was very friendly and accommodating. We saw him several times throughout our stay and every time he made us feel welcome. Joe is a people person. Every time we saw him, Joe greeted us with a huge warm smile and always had a fun, heartfelt greeting for us. Pat is another asset to the operation. She treats hotel guests like family and never stops working. Even while she's making small talk and making us all feel happy. Dakoda is SO nice and friendly. She remembered our names and greeted us and engaged us in conversation like an old friend. She's another big asset. Besides Meredith, I would say that Sarah stands out the most to me. She was quick to greet me, my wife and our 2 boys by our names and always has a smile on her face. I often sat in the hotel Livingroom area and I'd see Sarah greet hotel guests by their names and have a conversation with them that was only possible because she cares about and pays attention to them. She's a star. Meredith not only has outstanding people skills but is a great operator. She answered the phone the first time I called a year ago and remembered our conversation. It is no accident that her staff is outstanding. Meredith leads by example and treats them with respect. I believe that she leaves very little margin for error and hires people accordingly. By looking at the building's construction and the way this hotel is operated, I believe that this family built and operated hotel has no peer in Spokane. read more

We had a comfortable stay. The rooms are very clean and have almost everything you need. Except a microwave, at least not our room. We rented a double queen and it didn't have a microwave, which we actually needed because we had food we wanted to warm up, but couldn't. The other downfall (which isn't such a big deal, but being in a hotel you would expect room service)... I needed an extra blanket and they told me I had to go back down and get it myself instead of having them bring it to me. All in all, great hotel, clean and comfortable, I would stay here again. read more

This hotel is eh but it's SO loud outside! Good luck sleeping unless you love the sound of cars all night. The "fitness center" has zero free weights which sucks for fitness people as well. read more
