We stayed here for the weekend since it's a Marriott Bonvoy property. We loved the Bonvoy Platnium perks like free points, upgrades and breakfast. Great bar and restaurant in lobby area. The desk staff was fantastic and super friendly. The hotel upgraded us to a suite. It was huge and spacious. Room service was fast and the food was tasty. Valet parking staff is also very nice and quick to get your car. We loved this hotel that is walking distance to many great restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, stores movies and mall. read more

I was very surprised by the lack of service here as I usually have a great experience. The beds here are the most comfortable out of any hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel weekly for a living. I have been here a handful of times and while it's a great hotel with beautiful clean rooms, that was not the case today. I checked in and was ready to take a nap. Pulled the covers to find what appeared to be food crumbs. I knew at this point the sheets had not been changed. I called housekeeping and nobody answered, I called the front desk and the gentleman I spoke to didn't appear to be shocked or apologetic. He said he would let housekeeping know. I waited as I sat in a chair for 35 min and nobody showed up. I called the front desk again and spoke to a female this time who had at least apologized which I appreciated. 10 min later 2 hotel staff came to my door asking me if the sheets were dirty. They were kind. They left and 5 min later housekeeping showed up to change my sheets. Along with that, floors were dirty which I could live with as I don't walk barefoot. I also found some trash by the bed along with a bottle cap. Not sure who cleaned this room or didn't. Unfortunately now I can't sleep:( read more

I wouldn't call this a luxury hotel. I think it is supposed to be a nicer hotel in the Davenport group but I checked in last night and they put me in a room next to the elevator, which is ok but the room itself was filthy for Marriott standards. The floor had something sticky spilled on the floor I had to clean up because I was too tired to deal with housekeeping after flying from Europe. The towel I used had makeup on it and there was toothpaste residue on the mirror. The shower head was also janky. The staff is nice and the interior is well done with a beautiful bar but they need to improve housekeeping. read more

Driving back to Seattle from our Banff trip, we booked this place for the night. It's located in a nice neighborhood, right across their sister hotel and around the block from their other sister hotel. We parked Valet, the men were patient and informative. Valet was $35 & self parking $28. Check in was a breeze, she even helped me sign up for a Marriott rewards so I can begin collecting points. We also have our ESA, and she didn't make a fuss. What a sweetheart. Received a $20 food credit for the restaurant or cafe. Great little surprise. So we saved it for the next day to get our coffee & snacks for our long drive home. Our room was on the 16th floor facing the sister hotel. The room had a cool safari themed and felt very spacious. It is a shower only, but the shower looked pretty cool. Good water pressure is what stood out to me. Overall the room was clean, and inviting. Has a feeling of an not updated (but updated) old school "luxury". Which makes sense as it's their contemporary luxury. The lobby is large, and has abundance seating. Great place to stop for the night. read more

Stopped in for a drink because we have never been there before, was met with exceptional service and decided to try their Lu ch, five stars all day, wife and I chose to split the salmon, they took that with grace, made us two separate plates, and it was exquisite, the Head Chef Chris came out and asked us how we liked and apologized for the delay because he had to make a whole new sauce on the fly. Amazing week long stay at this dog-friendly hotel! My 6YO black lab/husky mix baby and I had a blast together. Left a do not disturb on the door knob and the electronic light by the door and my soul dog was never bothered ... or at least not that I know. The location of this place to my training was convenient and the commute in my personal car that was parked in the hotel's secured parking garage across the street was a breeze. Along the commute route , i spotted a Thai spot, a poke/boba spot, Starbucks, and a Pho place conveniently located to me to order ahead for pick-up to get back to my dog and in time to watch the World Series on their cable TV. Safari lounge downstairs has top notch old-fashioned, flatbreads, NY cheese cake and spicy sausage penne pasta. Walkable bars and eateries in the area as well. Aside from the pillows being super flat and uncomfortable (I asked for replacements and they ended flat, too lol, the excessive amount of unpredictable transients I had to dodge while walking my dog cuz they wanna pet her during the day and especially at night, and the fact that I may have been mistaken for one of the transients trying to order Old-fashioned at the bar to take up to my room after walking my dog outside wearing my "comfy" non-dressy clothes, I would still give this hotel 4 star. I would ask less judgement if it can be helped and maybe focus on the actual problematic transients outside and those that does come in. Highly recommend if you need to bring your furbaby with. I would not recommend this hotel due to the extremely unprofessional treatment I experienced from front desk manager Shyesta, along with the complete lack of response from interim general manager Marisa Lopez-Fink. During my stay, I attempted to address concerns directly with Shyesta, but her behavior was dismissive, rude, and entirely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing management role. What made this even more concerning was learning from several colleagues that they refuse to stay at this property specifically because of similar experiences with her. While at the hotel bar, I also overheard another guest expressing complaints regarding her conduct. Clearly, this is not an isolated issue. According to others I spoke with, these same concerns were raised long ago, yet the behavior continues without correction. Equally disappointing was the lack of any response from interim general manager Marisa Lopez-Fink despite three separate attempts to reach her while I was still on property. Ignoring guest concerns at a management level reflects very poorly on hotel leadership and overall customer service standards. I would have given this property one star based solely on management professionalism and guest treatment. The only reason I am not doing so is because the bar staff and food servers were courteous, professional, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. read more

TDLR: They nickel and dime you for things they don't tell you about, the only good service we received was from the bartender, valet, and Carl (and another guy whose name I didn't get) from the front desk, and the pool sucked. Monday, 8/11: We checked in around 11:30PM to what we thought was going to be a pleasant stay. My husband had stayed at the Tower and hotel chain multiple times in the past and always had a great experience so we chose it for our family's stay this time around. Check in was great, service was great, and the bartender was great. Tuesday, 8/12: We left early in the day to head out to Montana and left the room for housekeeping to take care of. When we got back at 10pm, we found the room to have been half a$$ed at cleaning. - Trash wasn't taken out - Dispensers weren't refilled - Coffee wasn't refilled The only things that seemed to have been done was: - Bed was made - Towels were restocked Tired, we used toiletries we brought, took a shower, ordered some room service, and went to bed. Of the three items ordered (steak, meat & cheese board, & cobb salad), only one was good. My meat & cheese board was thrown on a plate with a bunch of olives and most of the cheeses didn't even taste good. My husband took 3 bites of his salad and threw up. Needless to say, it was time to go to bed after that fiasco. Wednesday, 8/13: The next day, we left for Montana again and left the room to housekeeping. We came back at 7:30pm and stopped at the bar to find out that they couldn't charge my $17 drink to the room. I stopped by the front desk to find out why and was advised that they weren't able to authorize my card. It was from this encounter that I found out they were trying to charge everything to my card as it was happening. Normal hotels take $X for incidentals and apply room charges towards the held money at checkout but not this place. Had it not been for my bank rejecting the constant charging, I would've never caught this. It is now Saturday and the random amounts they held for "incidentals" still have not been released. By this point, we are now having/have experienced the following issues: - Multiple charges (and rejected charges) to our card - Finding out that there is a $20 + tax/day amenity fee that we didn't agree to - Finding out that there is TAX added to the valet fee - Housekeeping not actually cleaning (I purposely left a glass in the shower and found a new towel with the same glass still there) - Had to call the front desk MULTIPLE times to ask for shower robes, conditioner, and coffee/sugar refill (because it never got refilled) - Room service plates from Tuesday were never removed - Filled water glasses from Tuesday's room service were still on the table Thursday 8/14: We asked for a late check out. They gave us an hour then told us that it would be $25/hour after. As we were packing our stuff, we found that the freezer portion of the fridge wasn't working the whole time. So, our ice packs that we have to use for our bag for our toddler's milk and foods were just water packs. Thankfully TSA let us slide but it wasn't easy. Needless to say, our family, my husband, and all his board members will no longer be staying with the Davenport chain. It is unfortunate that the quality of stay and service has been degraded to such level. For the price tag, it's not worth it. read more

I stayed here as part of the hotel block for the Western Regional Oireachtas this weekend. Booking the hotel was tough because so many people were trying to get in and the site kept crashing, but once I booked it was fine. You pay part of the cost a few days before your stay and the rest when you check in. The people at the check-in desk are friendly but overworked. There only seems to be one person working the desk at night and they are always overwhelmed. We had to call the desk a few times at night during our stay and the phone would ring a while before they answered sounding frazzled. We had an issue with the ac in our room not working on the first night. It was 75 in the room even though it was set to 63. They sent a maintenance guy to fix it and the first time he said it was fixed but it never got cooler, only warmer. We had him come back and he said we could either have a couple of fans or change rooms. It was past 10pm at this point so we opted for the fans and just didn't sleep well. I checked with the front desk when we left for the day in the morning and they had someone come during the day to truly fix it. It was working fine when we got back that night thankfully. However, the hotel didn't offer us any kind of compensation for the first night being spent in discomfort. I was hoping at least for a small credit. The room itself was fine. It wasn't super clean but it was roomy and the beds were comfortable. For how much we paid I was hoping for more - a microwave at least. The whole hotel is safari themed which was a little weird because they have taxidermied animals in the lobby. The elevators took forever to show up any time we called them. They moved fast once we were inside but for some reason it just took them so long to actually arrive. There's a restaurant and a little breakfast bar downstairs. The restaurant is alright, the breakfast bar served us well in the morning when we were tired and hungry. Parking could be better. It's $28 per day if you self-park in the garage across the street and there isn't reserved parking for hotel guests so the public could just take all the spots and leave you stranded. I get parking downtown is tough but they should have at least reserved guest spots if not an entire garage just for the hotel. I only stayed here because I didn't have a choice. I wouldn't do it again if I could help it. read more

Love love love! My boyfriend booked us a last minute stay at the Davenport Tower. The front desk manager Shyesta was incredibly helpful in getting us the perfect room and at a fantastic rate! I had several questions about the booking process and she has all the right answers. Excellent customer service here I would definitely recommend to all of my friends. Ask for Shyesta if you have any questions, she rocks! The room was beautiful and the bed was crazy comfortable. First I would like to note that all of the staff we dealt with at the hotel were perfectly friendly and helpful. This is not a reflection on them, rather it is a reflection on the management and pricing of this hotel. I DO NOT recommend the Davenport Tower if you are interested in getting a good value for the very large amount of money you have to spend. I spent nearly $800 for a 3-night stay and felt nickel and dimed at *literally* every turn. I wish I had stayed at a mid-rate corporate hotel chain. I will have to break this into categories: Check in: - We arrived several hours early, and asked if the room happened to be ready. Great news - they said it was ready! They then proceeded to tell us that we could check in early for a $100 fee. This would have been a great opportunity for some positive customer service since *the room was already ready*. Instead they tried to get more money out of us. - There is a mandatory $20 "destination amenity fee" which includes a $10 credit to their in-house dining, but of course $10 doesn't cover anything for two people, so they're really just trying to make you spend more money at their extremely overpriced restaurant and bar. - They add a $50 per night deposit to your total (which is never mentioned in advance), putting me in the uncomfortable position of having to ask why my total looked so high when I put my card down at check-in. Lacking the standard amenities of a budget hotel: - Was there free continental breakfast and coffee in the lobby? Nope. Just their overpriced coffee shop and dining options. - Was there a vending machine so you could get a late-night bag of chips? Of course not. A room labeled "ice and soda" just had an extremely rusty, corroded ice maker. Room quality: - The room was not all carpeted, there was a thin and basic carpet right underneath the bed, and the rest was cold fake wood. - The lighting could not have been more horrible - the "bedside" lighting was two LED lights that point DIRECTLY down into your eyes when you are lying in the bed. Having them on was like being in an interrogation room. - They gave us 5 pillows (for two people) and they were absolutely terrible. 2 were almost decent, and then 3 were basically flattened as soon as you put your head on them. - Shower temperature was wildly erratic - would get cold for no reason, then steaming hot again. - Had to unplug the loudly buzzing mini-fridge in the night to be able to sleep. It sounds like the Davenport company is a major player in Spokane, and it is a real disappointment to have what seems like a local company be so inferior to the service we would have gotten at a mid-level corporate chain hotel like the Holiday Inn. If the stay had not been so expensive, I would not be so upset about it. But from the pictures of the hotel I was excited for a luxurious stay that would make the money feel worth it. While all of the staff at the Tower were kind and nice, overall the experience was stressful and disappointing. I had to move rooms due to finding an insect carcass on the bedding in the first room. The second room had bed linens that were soaking wet. Now that I am home, I went to my credit card statement to pay my bill and the hotel has charged an extra $150. I have spent over an hour trying to get someone at the hotel to answer the phone to find out why the charge is higher and am still on hold as I write this review. UPDATE - I have now been on hold for over 2 hours without a single human answering. read more

We were in town for a wedding and tried to book the Historic Davenport (where we have stayed before) which was full so we made our three night reservation for the the Davenport Tower. The essence of our discontent centers on one person: Miss S. Kennedy who is the Front Desk Manager. First Problem: The two large ice water dispensers near the front desk were empty so I asked Miss S. Kennedy if I could get a bottled water. As a Bonvoy elite guest my experience at Marriotts around the world is that these are given out readily and with a smile. Not here or, rather, not with Miss S. Kennedy. Instead of giving me a bottle of water she pointed to the lobby Starbucks and informed me that I could purchase a bottle of water there! Second Problem: Our shower gel container was empty from the day we checked in so I stopped at the front desk and informed Miss S. Kennedy that our room had no soap. She assured me that she would have that fixed. Two days later we still had no soap. On the second morning she gave me a small bottle of shower gel but when I asked for a couple more her reply was that, 'she and her husband could make do with one bottle!' Now, Miss S. Kennedy is a 'Plus Sized Woman' so I rather doubt that is true but that isn't the point. Third Problem: Miss S. Kennedy gave me a garage access card which never worked. Every time I tried to exit the parking garage I ended up having to call the hotel for help. I told Miss S. Kennedy about this problem twice and she assured me that the card would work going forward. She was O for 3. What struck me about Miss S. Kennedy is that rather than ever actually addressing a guest's concern she would manufacture bizarre alternatives that deflected from having to do her job. Refusing to give a bottle of three cent water or a tiny body gel is absurd. The quality of a hotel stay is almost always given definition by the staff and in the case of the Davenport Tower, Miss S. Kennedy delivered a 'One Star Experience.' Avoid this hotel! read more

I often stay at this hotel when I come to Spoken. The hotel is conveniently located, so you can walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. The view from my room was in the parking lot, and the car was right in front of me, so I left the curtain closed. It was very noisy with people coming in and out after 10 pm. And even though it was past 11 p.m., I couldn't sleep because I heard the voice loudly on the speakerphone for more than an hour. Our stay was unbelievably negative, especially for a 4+ star hotel. It began when we needed to amend our stay dates. Booking.com tried extensively to reach to the hotel front desk to get them to accept the new date, but no one would answer the phone at the front desk. I tried myself for over 40 minutes to call, but I kept getting hung up on by the front desk staff. I eventually had management step in from one of their other hotels across the street, and got our stay changed. When we arrived, we were told our room price was over $100 more than our booking with Booking.com, and that it was "not open for negotiation". The front desk staff made sure to smile and be polite while they told us to screw ourselves. When I asked if the phones were working at the front desk, the staff member cocked her head and said "Uh, yes, why?". I didn't waste any more time with it. When we got to the room, it was ok. The main lighting was 3 spotlights that were uncomfortably bright, we had to leave them off just to sit in bed. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, all of which were mostly empty, but we got 2 showers each out of them. Another small but very irritating problem was that all of the power outlets were so worn out that none of our chargers would stay in the outlets. We had to prop up some of our luggage just to keep the phone and laptop chargers plugged in. We needed to have a delivery to the hotel by Doordash for some medical supplies we forgot to pack, and food, and when we called the front desk, one staff member said "Oh yes, we'll bring it up to you when it arrives". 15 minutes later, Doordash calls and says not only will the front desk not accept the delivery, they won't let him continue into the building. Good thing we were taking showers! Otherwise, we might be not be COMPLETELY INCONVENIENCED! My wife had to run down to the lobby in wet clothes to get the delivery before he left with our medicine. When we complained, we got the "We're very busy and understaffed" line. The next morning, when we went to check out, the front staff said "Room keys? Ok, well, we'll email you your final bill. Thanks, bye!" before we could even explain our dissatisfaction. We definitely didn't expect this poor of customer service from this hotel. We won't return, there are many other places to stay in Spokane at much better prices. Don't waste your money here! read more

What a wonderful stay! Full disclosure to start...I have "Lifetime Titanium Elite" status with Marriott so I usually stay in their hotels for travel and I generally know what to expect at the various brands. Just a quick trip for work...checked rates and this place was $166 a night and the Fairfield Inn was $175 and Courtyard was $205!!! Autograph Collection hotel for less $$$?!!! So I booked the room and started reading the negative reviews and got worried. Checked in using the mobile app the day before and let the hotel know I would arrive at 5pm. To my surprise I got a message on my app at 8:30am that my room was ready and I could pick up my key anytime!!! Arrived and while I paid for a king size bedroom they UPGRADED ME to a one bedroom king suite, corner room, high floor!!! This room was loaded with goodness. Huge living area, TV, dining room, and half kitchenette. Big bathroom with double sinks and a shower area with travertine tile. Shower had great water pressure and took a longer than normal relaxing shower. Huge bedroom with another TV, sitting chairs, and desk. 18th floor room had nice views of the city. Bed mattress was super soft and high quality. NEGATIVES or ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: no parking on-site. Lot is next door and self park is $25 with valet $35. Hotel internet is POOR! They need to upgrade this immediately. 1 ply cheap toilet paper in the bathroom? Come on guys! Didn't like the "low to the ground toilet" either. I am a Marriott Titanium Elite member and have stayed at numerous Marriott properties worldwide, but my experience at this place was, regrettably, the worst I've ever encountered. I recently found myself in a very difficult situation: I lost my driver's license while traveling and was effectively stranded in the city. I understood the hotel's policy that I couldn't check-in without proper ID, and that was not the issue. The significant problem was the exceptionally rude, unprofessional, and frankly, threatening behavior of the front desk staff member. Unacceptable Rudeness When I politely explained my predicament and asked for any guidance on who I could reach out to for help - as I urgently needed a place to stay and couldn't return home for my passport - this individual repeatedly stated, "We won't check you in, you should go. We don't want to know how you accommodate yourself." This was her exact quote. For an Autograph Collection hotel, a brand known for its distinctive service, this response was not only shockingly callous but utterly unacceptable. I expected, at minimum, a willingness to help or guide a distressed guest, not such a dismissive and uncaring attitude. Misleading and Unprofessional Conduct In an attempt to resolve my situation, I asked if it was possible to obtain a temporary driver's license from the local Department of Licensing (DOL). She confidently told me they wouldn't help me without my previous license. This was incorrect and misleading information. I later went to the DOL myself and successfully obtained a temporary license. Her unwillingness to help, combined with providing false information with such conviction, was incredibly unprofessional. Threatening Behavior Her behavior escalated further when I asked if she knew of any other hotels that might be able to accommodate me. She responded by saying she would "call them to make sure they refused to check me in." Even more alarming, when I inquired about contacting the police for assistance or to verify hotel policies, she stated, "The police will take you away if you can't identify yourself." I find it highly unlikely that she would have called other properties with such an intent, or that police would detain someone simply for a lost ID. This felt like a deliberate attempt to threaten and intimidate a vulnerable guest, which is absolutely disgusting and goes against every standard of hospitality. Lack of Accountability This individual, whom I believe was a manager, did not have a name badge and refused to provide her name, claiming I "did not have the right to know" since I wasn't checked in. She was an African or Islander woman wearing glasses. Her refusal to identify herself further highlights the lack of accountability for her appalling conduct. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so offensive and distressing that I felt compelled to share it. While another staff member at the nearby Davenport was genuinely friendly and willing to help (which speaks volumes about actual hospitality), it's simply not enough to mitigate the anger and frustration caused by this incident. I am forced to give a 1-star rating because a 0-star option isn't available. I will also consider reporting this experience to Marriott corporate. read more

My first time staying at this property. Ashley and Lisa at the front desk were very kind as well as Carissa at the restaurant. She was a bit busy but made time to check on us on a timely manner. This property is pristine, beautiful and elegant, the rooms are clean, they use quality products (L'Occitane ) in the bathrooms for guests. This place makes you feel special and spoiled. I loved the bath robe in the closet and of course the bath products. I enjoyed the comfort of the bed, I slept so very well. I also enjoyed the decor throughout the hotel. It's uniqueness of safari print and the taxidermy of animals decor throughout the hotel. Look forward to another future stay here in the future. read more

This place is drastically different from a few years ago. The hotel over booked so we were moved to the towers. The towers were so over booked that everyone sat around surrounded by luggage until nearly 5pm. ( we missed our dinner reservations because we weren't able to get ready in time). The Starbucks was closed as well as half the seating. We all tried to shuffle back there as to not disturb everyone that dressed up. So , these poor people in suits and gowns trying to take formal photos were surrounded by people's luggage. All of us felt bad so it was like playing tetris with suitcases and bags stacking them awkwardly around as to not disturb these people's photos or experience. The hotels weren't apologetic to anyone from what I over heard. These hotels sure made tons of people upset this weekend. Wedding parties, graduation groups, and Mother's Day groups all agreed that it was a TOTAL FLOP! The next day we were moved back to the autograph and the bathrooms walls were filthy as well as all of the mirrors. For basically 400.00 a night they need to get the check in experience together. They should check peoples bags if they can't immediately get them in. That would have satisfied most of the people. We can't go to dinner, we can't easily enjoy a cocktail, or go for a walk around town when we are all sitting with ten bags. read more

First time staying in any of the Davenport collection hotels, we were impressed! Very elegant, animal themed lobby and elevators. Rooms were clean and spacious. Wish they had a fridge in the rooms as we stayed for 3 nights. Pool and hot tub were very nice on the ground level. The restaurant is really nice in lobby, we had a $20 food credit a day which was great plus the complimentary wine tasting! Dog friendly as well. I'd highly recommend staying here. read more

Maybe the worst hotel I have ever been. For over $400 a night, the hotel manager should be fired. 1.We tried to check in at one thirty but were told to come at four or we may be moved to another hotel. I did not appreciate the threat and we booked for this hotel in early April. 2. The line to check in was over an hour and I have added the pictures. Staff was unapologetic and threw their general manager under the bus blaming him. 3. There was another manager attempting to give champagne to a very angry crowd. We ask this person for the general manager and he refused to give the name. We also thought he was a racist and nasty. 4. In our search for the GM we received three different stories of his hours but we did learn from one employee he was in but refused to come out. COWARD! 5. Valet had literally a dozen people waiting to get cars with one of the valets improperly parking a car blocking a passenger van and all cars from moving. 6. There were about a dozen people waiting to get their luggage out of valet. 7. In leaving in the morning the gate was broken so we went out and could not get in with our existing ticket. Parking is very difficult and we saw no security. The area is sketchy at best. 8. Satellite TV kept coming in and out making it almost inoperable. The story we kept hearing was they were sold out and that's why service was so bad. We were here for a graduation with the school having the same graduation for over a hundred years so the general manager should have this hotel ready. Instead he disappeared and left a mess. The staff as a whole was not apologetic and gave many excuses. We understand that things happen and companies have bad days. However, it's very clear to me this place has no leadership so employees will copy and take cues from leaders who have no accountability. This is a fine hotel. But I have to point out that it's also an abuse of the concept of a Marriott Autograph moniker. I haven't been to Spokane in ten years, and I've always liked the Davenport. So, give the "Autograph" in the name, I thought I was making a reservation for the real Davenport hotel. This building is kitty-corner across the street, so it wasn't out of my way. But it's NOT the Davenport. Once Marriott got the name, they just slapped it on a generic high-rise building and called it the Davenport. Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with the hotel or the building. But if you're paying for the Autograph experience, it's across the street. This is a fine, boring, average, basic, competent hotel. Nothing about it is particularly unique or interesting. I did have the pleasure of being woken every morning by a barking dog in the next room, but I assume this is a rarity and that they don't actually have a dog kennel in-house. Bottom Line: Marriott is abusing the trust of their longtime members by serving up average and borrowing a reputation from the original intention of their Autograph brand. I'll be more careful in the future. Lesson learned. read more

Very clean and comfortable room. Really nice. The location is convenient to shopping and daytime activities, but the streets are a little quiet at night - meaning this is a city with city issues. If you're wanting to take the family out or walk around in the later evening, it's a little sketch/abandoned. (Self) Parking was reasonably close and felt safe. The food is a little inconsistent and so is the service in the restaurant/bar. I liked having Starbucks conveniently located in the lobby. Easier mornings. read more

I've stayed at a ton of Marriott locations. This one was disappointing, we stayed here on 06/19/2021 when we arrived we found the valet service and unloading/unloading area were closed. Forcing us to park across the street in an unsecured parking garage. We found a space on level 5. On level 4 there was a black SUV with its driver window smashed out. Clearly broken into. We then checked in with a very pleasant and kind staff. Went up to our room and got settled before we headed down to dinner. After ordering our dinner we waited for 45 minutes for it to reach our table, the filet mignon was cold. And my wife's halibut was blistering hot. Clearly mine sat, while they waited for hers to be done. When we tried to pay for dinner the waiter returned with our card and let us know he accidentally used our card to close out another tables dinner (5 people) and had them run our card for our dinner (just the two of us) that was very frustrating. The room was well cleaned and taken care of, and the staff was prompt when I had a small request for another pillow and more towels. When we looked to check out and get our car we found our car with our back window smashed, along with 3 other cars on our parking level. And 1 on level 2. The front desk man was very nonchalant about it, and said "we were just told by another guest about the breakins and assure you this is out of the ordinary, you should be able to file an auto insurance claim to get that fixed" which as someone who owns an insurance company I can say is true. But the lack of care the hotel staff showed us and the other guest I saw raising the same issue is disappointing. I would definitely not stay here again. read more

If you like pubic hairs in your bed and a front desk that hates you exist, THIS is your hotel! Alyssa was just mean to my GF for committing the crime of asking for a new key card after the one they gave us didn't work. When I asked to talk to a manager about why she was so mean about it, it was something out of movie. "Im the manager" said "Sam" who gave an over-the-top patronizing apology, the kind where she fake smiles while also being condescending. She even did the front desk voice, "Well I will have to have a talk with her... anything else?" Which is customer service code for "We dont care. We will do nothing to about this. Leave us alone." Oh, and there were curly hairs all over bed. Maybe thats what all the hidden fees were for... i guess they charged us for the bed hairs! Just the worst. read more

Is there a cooler hotel lobby in the Pacific North West? I haven't found one yet if so. Love this place. I got a room on the 21st floor. King bed was comfortable. The rest of the room was great and clean but felt a bit dated. Maybe time to upgrade the carpet, etc? Looking forward to when the lobby restaurant is back open again! read more

I was hoping to stay at one of the hotels since I have accumulated points with Bonvoy, however; this hotel does not allow me to have my emotional support cat with me as they only accept dogs whether they are a service animal or not. Location, Location, location! I had a great experience here. Nice, large, clean room, attention to COVID 10 cleanliness and policies. The location is unbeatable and until it snowed , i was able to walk everywhere i needed to go. I'm really glad I opted to not rent a car. Due to COVID, many amenities were unavailable, which is understandable. Like other guests, I put my trash and dishes outside the door and it was rarely picked up. I was not given instructions on what to do. It would have aldl been nice to have information on alternate services . For example, when a snow storm hit l, I could not get an Ube or Lyft and I called 5 different cab companies that were unavailable. The hotel shuttle was closed and there were no information on other options. Room service is also suspended , but when I called down to the restaurant to order pickup, it just went to a recorded message. They have no business center or business center is closed. The front desk kindly allowed me to print my documents. Overall, this was a great experience and I hope I can stay again. read more

I love the Davenport Hotels, but this rating is not for the hotel, but for the customer service of the Marriott phone lines. I just got off the phone with Juls and needed to switch my reservation that I used from Points. I initially made a mistake and booked at the Grand (thought I was booking at the Tower) for 25k points. I called a week later and switched to the Tower, but they wanted 34k points instead! When I tried to book the rooms themselves, it was 275 for the Grand and 225 for the Tower.. so why the mark up for points? I tried to get a supervisor but Juls said no one will help me and this is their policy... Sigh. So frustrated and angry. read more

L'Occitane soaps, hair care products Thoughtful trash bin placement in the unit. Comfy bed. Starbucks in the lobby, single-cup brewer in suite. No housekeeping service, due to Covid. Good location. Parking garage across the street for extra $$$ Lobby bar & restaurant: very good. Fantastic fish and chips. Same meal ordered as room service was sub-par. The room was quiet and had all the amenities we needed, including extremely fast Wi-Fi and the great business center that I use even though I had checked out at 11 AM. We had a nice stay here on a road trip through Spokane. There are several Davenport properties in town, and this one is a standby. Beds are soft, and everything was as you might want for a hotel. If you don't like the safari theme, don't go here! I rather liked the soft, plush bed, and after the first few encounters of safari decor, I didn't mind it at all! At least I didn't have any nightmares about human eating animals. I had a quiet room and a view southward. The lobby is beautiful, but the parking is rather a mess if you have a big school van, as it didn't go into the self-park. Instead, I had to use the valet; oh, I guess that worked out well! Haha. Convenient Starbucks (just serving Starbucks, not a real one) in the lobby. Hugh area in the lobby for meeting up with a large group. This is just as good as the Grand! Extremely upset with our stay. On June 5th 2024, the first room that was given to us had curly pubic. Looking hairs on the top comforter call to complain. They did change our rooms when we finally got into bed. We found more curly looking hairs on the bottom sheet of our. But we have come here for years.Always stay here they're not cleaning the Correctly. We have stayed at the original davenport before And have found dried hard contacts on the bathroom sink.
