I had a very difficult time finding a company to repair/ replace my glass block windows in Master Bath. I found Robertson's Glass Block on Angie's List. My normal due diligence on a company (contractor's license, BBB, review sites) did not provide a lot of information. I needed the work done, and called the office. Brian called me within a day or two. He came out the next day to look at the job. He is extremely knowledgeable about Glass Block. He said he could match the blocks, which were originally installed in 1999. I did not receive a quote when expected, and had to follow up with emails and phone calls to get it. When I did receive the quote, I felt it was reasonable. We arranged to meet so I could get a sample block to compare it to the blocks in my windows. Perfect match. I gave him 1/2 of estimate as deposit. Originally scheduled to start on a Thursday. Called night before to say he was not going to be able to start until Friday. That worked okay for my schedule. Brian and another man worked very diligently from 8 am until 3 pm Friday. They protected the interior surfaces when breaking the block to replace it. They put waterproof lining around window before setting new block. Brian pointed out the rusted metal clips that were in the windows because builder did not use stainless steel ones. Brian replaced them. The men were unable to finish the job Friday, and returned Monday. Brian texted to let me know he was running a little late. They worked most of the day. In addition to completely replacing glass block in a 2' x 6' window in shower, they cut out and replaced a cracked block in a 6' x 6' window over bath. They scraped out old cracked mortar and replaced it on large window. They patched some cracks in the stucco over and next to the windows. Brian will come back to seal grout on exterior. I could not have been happier with the work done by Robertson Glass Block. read more

Brian and his helper did a great job. They were professional yet friendly. They worked together so well that the work went quickly and cleanly. They removed an old window and replaced with glass blocks. Brian is an artist. We hope to have them replace another window soon. read more

Brian was able to come out next day to look at glass block in a home I was purchasing to help determine if it needed replacement. He was very helpful and informative. I did not use his services at this time, but if I need glass block repair in the future he will be the first one I call. read more

We had a large glass block wall in our shower on an exterior wall of our house. After 15 years the wall had really settled and we had repeatedly grouted it to fill in the resulting numerous gaps. We called Robertson Glass Block for an estimate to replace the glass block. Brian Robertson came out the same day. He gave us a very reasonable bid and we arranged for them to perform the work the very next week. The work far exceeded our expectations! Not only did they replace the glass block but because of water damage the had to replace the exterior/interior wall from the ground up including replacing stucco. Brian did an awesome job. I had 2 large windows above the corner tub which required blinds to ensure privacy. Brian removed both windows and replaced them with glass block. Now I have lots of light and privacy. I also had Brian rebuild the shower stall with glass block. The tile setter installed granite slabs so Brian had a base to work from. Brian's finish work was so perfect that the glass door installer commented that he had never seen a glass block shower finished with such class and perfection.
