Long story short, not my best manicure but also definitely not my worst, and I'll be back. Their prices and color selection are unbeatable especially for the Beverly Hills area. When I went in, it was when they first opened so there was no wait. However, within 45 minutes it got pretty crowded, so be sure to make an appointment. The woman that did my nails was super friendly and diligent with my nails; I she knew I wanted to nails to be white so she made sure to do more than enough coats and even topped the white color that I picked with another to make sure they were super bright. I also asked for a little nail art that she did nicely. However, when putting on the top coat, it wasn't fully dry so the color smeared a bit, but she offered to fix the entire nail -- I passed since I was running a little late but I honestly appreciated her acknowledging the slight mess up. Three different people were trying to improvise and at the end the owner Vickie told us that she let her employees carry on because we didn't know how it was supposed to be done anyway because it was my girlfriend's first time. Fast forward one week and she has green discoloration of all of her nails. We went to a dermatologist who said she has Green Nail Syndrome which is a Pseudonomas infection caused by improperly done work at nail salons. Now we racked up thousands in medical bills and pharmacy costs and she has these destroyed green nails which will take months to go back to normal. WORST BUSINESS EVER! STAY AWAY!!! I was appalled by what I saw and what I experienced at this terrible poorly managed business. These people bought the business from the former Robertson nail owners and have no idea what they are doing. First off, they do not follow Covid health guidelines. Half of the employees are not wearing masks or gloves and they are lacking glass partitions indoors and outside. They have a small space in the alley outside of their business where there are zero glass partitions and nobody is wearing masks. I also noticed that they do not sanitize their nail instruments. Disgusting in general but especially in the time of Covid. They will also quote you a price above the menu price they have over the phone and once you get there and point that out to them they will tell you that the menu list is outdated and if you don't like it you can go somewhere else. The women in there were telling me how the nail technicians have stolen their own personal nail instruments so they just stopped buying their own which they regret after seeing the lack of sanitation. The manager is terrible. She curses at the patrons and tells them that they cannot pay with credit card because there is no credit card machine and forces them to pay with cash. Found out they keep a credit card machine in the back they just choose not to use it so they don't have to pay taxes on the cash. There is a nail technician there specifically, her name is Annie, she is by far one of the worst and deceitful humans I have ever known. I have been getting my nails done in this area for over three decades and I have never, ever come across such terrible people and such a terrible business. Please be grateful if you are reading this so that you know to stay away. I wish someone had told me. I went there originally because I saw woman's nails who looked great and asked where she got them done. This will be pretty LENGTHY so grab some popcorn....First off, this not my first time here, but definitely will be my LAST!!! I called for same-day-appt, got one for 5:15p. Cool! So I arrive about 5 mins early, since it's so close to my job. Upon arrival, there was only one person there. I was shocked! I expected to see it crowded. Nevertheless came in, got seated right away. So all of sudden, you see the whole crew come from the back...asking you need mani/pedi? I was kind of tickled, like wow they was ready!! Anyway, the tech (which I think is owner or main person) asked what I wanted done? I said I had appt for full set (gel). She asked "no pedicure," I said no, not today. After she kept asking, I figure I would go ahead, and get a pedi since I was there. I sit down and she gathers her supplies, while I look up nail pic on my phone. I wanted my nails done a specific way. So I wanted to show her the pic, to see if she could do it. If she wasn't able to, I more than likely would have went somewhere else. She looks at the pic and says "oh yes" nodding like (I got it, I can do that). She stated it would be 50 for those nails, because it had a design on them. I'm looking *confused* like what design *shrugs* it's just two different polishes on one nail split n'half. There was no rhinestones, no glitter, no strips, no nail art, no swirls, no swivel, no dots/specks to be applied. It was NOTHING that required them to use super glue, adhesive, w/that lil toothpick they be using. Just sparkly silver polish on one side, and baby pink on the other. This would be applied the the (ring finger) ONLY! So she starts my nails, applying the tips I specifically told her (short almond shape). Now all the nails are on, and she begins shaping one hand. As soon as another customer comes in, and one of the other workers come out she the has her finish me. REALLY!! Don't be playing musical chairs w/doing my nails, keep it consistent w/one person. That is soooo annoying! She looks at my nails, and I can already tell she wasn't confident. Here we go shaking my head. I immediately showed her the pic, and she started filing away on the other hand. She was filing so hard, the nail on my index finger came off. She applied another nail, cut & shaped it. After reviewing, I didn't like the way it looked. She filed it too narrow, and wasn't put on properly, one side needed more glue. I told her I didn't like how the nail looked. I asked if she could take it off and redo. *sorrynotsorry* She did lil "sigh" as if she didn't want to redo it. I asked if was there a problem? She goes oh no, and I said ...Ok just checking! Still nail didn't look right, and she's just filing away. She kept asking if it was ok, I said no still not. I felt like I had to say it numerous times, until she finally got it right. PSA to nail salons: PLEASE DO NOT RUSH, OR DO CRAPPY JOB ON MY NAILS, WHEN YOU SEE OTHER CUSTOMERS COME IN!! YOU WILL NOT, I REPEAT NOT RECEIVE A TIP PERIOD!!! Finally got the shape right, and pedi is done. Now time to put polish on. So she ask what color, I said again gel color like the pic. So she says something in her language, to the person who originally started my nails. She then proceeds to tell me, I said regular color not gel. I'm like WHAT!! I never said regular polish, I said gel. I've been getting gel polish for thee longest, I would NEVER get reg polish. So we going back & forth about that. Then she says if you want gel it will be 15 more. Sooo you mean to tell me, these baby/short- shape- almond nails is 50 by itself, but if i get gel it will be addt'l 15. R' you serious!! I know it's B.H. but you guys are not Laque nail bar (which is where I should have gone) to begin with. Then say well since I got short, she would charge 45, but still would be 15 more for gel polish. I reminded her what she quoted me when I showed her the pic, and specifically stated gel polish. That was 50, NEVER said addt'l 15 for gel. So at this point, I'm getting annoyed and upset. I told her for the shape/length and gel polish w/no design, ain't no way it should cost 60 bucks!! The pedicure was 17, but then she says since I got massage that would be extra too. MASSAGE WHERE!! All she did was put oil and lotion on my legs & feet rubbed it in slowly. I mean she did it twice, but that shouldn't be considered a massage smh. At this point, I'm fuming and was over the whole thing. So they wanted to charge 77, but again that's still not including the 15 addt'l for gel polish. So I guess after I kept speaking about the services, and she saw that I was NOT happy...she goes well just 57, and 15 more for gel polish. I told her don't even paint my nails, or toes because I was done. I told them, this was the worst service ever that I recv'd. So just paid for the services that were done, which still mad about. My experience today was average. I am completely pleased with how my eyebrow wax turned out but I was turned off by the ambiance and cleanliness of the place and workers. They waxed my brows while I sat in one of the manicure chairs, so that was off putting at first. I usually am taken into a private room. She also used a towel to wipe her hands and then used that same towel on my face. Another towel she dropped on the floor and used to wipe my face again. I was really grossed out. I will say, however, that she was very meticulous after she waxed my brows, tweezing them to perfection. Since I am new to the area, I will probably come back, but will do more research on the area to see if there are any better options out there first. The price was really good, especially for being in Beverly Hills. I paid $13 for my eyebrow wax. read more

My first time here was amazing! I called ahead at about 5:45 since I was looking to go in at 6 pm on a Friday and the lady on the phone was quick to make me an appointment for 6:20. They talk a lot of chit about you, I kind of don't care because I don't know what they're saying, but don't be so obvious, it's not like I had a gangrene toe for all of them to come by and look at my feet. So I started coming here I want to say sometime last year since my sister starting coming here. I would come when I'm back in LA and now I started going since it opened last Friday and now that I am permanently living in LA. They are taking the social distancing and following cdc guidelines which is great!!! All the employees are wearing masks even double masks, cleaning the chairs after every customer with Clorox wipes, they take your temperature when you walk in, and you have fill out and sign a form. They have dividers set up between the nail tech and the customer for mani and pedi. They are very clean and do a good job. They open new packs of tools for you if you don't bring your own. The price did go up but that is expected especially since they were closed for 3 months. It's $33 for mani/pedi, I believe it use to be $28. I definitely recommend making an appointment especially since it's only 7 chairs spaced out for social distancing. Parking is easy street or meter parking and free parking after 6pm at the meters!! read more

With an hour to kill before our play at the Bev Hills Playhouse, my friend whimsically decided to treat us both to nail services. Pedicure for me and a MAN-icure for him. Cleanliness: (shrug) Clean enough, though the spa massage chairs were really worn down (you could see the surface of the (p)leather(?) had cracked off). That doesn't mean they're dirty, though. Service: Vince was my pedicurist - this is the first time I had a man do my nails. He was polite, gentle, and smiley - he also helped me pick a varnish color (the brighter, popsicle-blue over the slate blue). He didn't talk much, but had a great attitude and worked very, very quickly. I laughed when he pumice-buffed and gasped when he slapped my feet ( think the slapping was part of the massage?). He smiley-apologized and resumed breaking the record for the fastest pedi I've ever gotten. I found out later that he thought I was getting both a manicure and pedicure. No wonder he was so speedy! I didn't want to be late for our show, so I politely refused and he moved right down the line to the next lady waiting for a pedicure. The bill: This is where they tricked me. I asked for a pedicure ($13) but they automatically gave me a spa-pedicure ($18). For an extra $5, a manicure would have come with it. Consarnit, were it not for that play! I guess I should have been more attentive to the spa-price... It's been 2 weeks and my nails are still lookin good; no problems with chipping except on the very edge of my nails, but that's expected because toes rub against shoes sometimes. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience here despite the other reviews and I think the nail polish was authentic (at least for the color I used) since it's still holding up pretty well. Vince works quickly, if you're ever in the neighborhood and need yo' nails done fast! 3.5 stars rounded up. P.S. What's with the $$$$? it's not that pricey! read more
