I texted the number (per the outgoing voice message) and was so lucky to get a same day appointment with Natalie. I am still completely blown away at what an amazing job Natalie did. I have very VERY dry cuticles and hands and I have never had nice natural nails. Natalie had her work cut out for her and my entire experience with her has made this the best manicure I have ever had. I kid you not, every time I've had a regular manicure, the polish chipped the same day and my cuticle ended up looking scraggly within a week. This was not the case with Natalie. She is clearly an expert at her craft (and p.s. she only does regular manicures). In addition to taking such meticulous care of my cuticles and nails, Natalie was extremely knowledgeable and taught me how to take care of my nails and what to look for in a good manicurist. It is now 5 days later and I can't believe that my nails have barely chipped! They have lasted through a night of hard partying and all the hustle and bustle of two plane-bound trips since 12/9 - AMAZING. I don't think this location has that, but they still exceeded my expectations for the callus remover I didn't have much though I ended up switching to a gel manicure and a gel pedicure out of my own choice. They didn't offer me or pressure me into it and they also treated me good regardless if I was gonna do polish or not, so I really liked that. I ended up picking a very light natural color, and the lady made sure that she checked in with me that it looked almost clear, and I told her that I liked it and she put an extra layer for me just to have a little tint of color I have not been to a nail salon in a very long time and I usually get cuts and little necks that hurt for a long time and I did not have that issue here at all. It was all dry manicure and pedicure, but the lady was very gentle with the tools. I am looking forward to coming back to the salon again.

There are a bunch of places to find polish on the wall. At first I only saw OPI polish but then I turned the corner and found Essie (my preferred brand). The only brands I saw here were OPI and Essie which are typical brands at most nail shops I have visited. I went with Essie Ballet Slipper a pretty light pink that was Queen Elizabeth's go-to. My manicurist did a good job and was patient and kind. I could feel the breeze coming from the doorway which I liked because a nail shop needs good ventilation. Finding a parking spot was difficult. There is metered parking on the street and garage parking nearby.

She chose a pretty red, and I went with a soft pink. My friend didn't get her feet scrubbed, and unfortunately, the pedicure didn't hold up--her polish rubbed off the tops of her toes after wearing heels that night. A letdown. My experience was better, and the polish held up nicely. One important thing to note: tipping is unclear here. The total on my credit card was $80. They told me not to sign anything, implying the tip was already included. It felt a bit vague and awkward, so just be aware of that.
