WORST NAIL SALON in the LA/Beverly Hills area!! My nails/toes were already not in the best condition, I'm a nail biter and had just gotten back from a long hiking trip but the way they handled my nails was actually crazy. I got acrylics on my hands and big toes, and while filing with the drill the lady kept DIGGING into my nail bed. I was literally flinching the entire time because it hurt so bad. I also kept asking for the acrylic to be thinner, but every time I asked they acted annoyed, so eventually I just gave up. The nails ended up super thick and bulky anyway. I asked for a milky white color on both hands and feet and somehow left with NEON white instead... and by the second day they were already turning yellow. Then the payment situation annoyed me even more. I paid for my manicure and pedicure separately on two different cards. When I walked in, they told me the toes (INCLUDING acrylics on the big toes) would be $30, but when it was time to pay it suddenly became $40. At that point I was already over it, so I just said okay. For the first payment (manicure), I told them to add a $5 tip. Honestly I didn't even want to tip because the work was SO bad, but I was still trying to be nice and leave both ladies $5 each. Somehow she added $10 instead of $5 without even asking me to the pedicure charge. The experience and the work were both so disappointing that I didn't even want to go back and have them fix anything. BY THE WAY I literally got the nastiest little infection on the side of my nail where she cut me..... I got my nails done April 21st! Love nail spa lounge! They are extremely attentive, thorough, and skilled. I usually go for a gel mani pedi and they always help me choose shades that compliment my skin tone (per my request, and they do a great job). Also, my nails have never grown longer, and stronger than they are now! Even when the gel is switched or taken off for a breather my nails look strong, whole, not flaky, chipping or breaking (which they were previously because I'm a nurse who uses hand sanitizer all day)! I've gotten my nails done here a few times. First of all, seriously decent prices. Second, some of the women who work there are really funny. Third, I was considering getting acrylics instead of gel, which is obviously the more expensive option, and the lady (I forgot her name :-() doing my nails told me that I have nice nails and that I don't need acrylics... what??? I was not happy to see how unsanitary this place is. They were reusing cuticles cutters on 2 different women. As I sat in the spa chair watching and waiting, they would use the nail clipper and cutters and throw them in a tin box when they were done then move to the next person and reuse the same clipper and tools without sterilization or proper cleaning methods. I had to ask the women to get a clean cuticle cutter and new nail file and she made me wait in the spa chair for 30 minutes as she assisted another customer who came after me. She also did a poor job with my manicure, messy and simply without any effort. I would have left earlier but it was Friday and I had a party to attend so I didn't have time to look for another location. I work across the street. I'm so disappointed with their service. They got to work right away on my manicure pedicure the technician was very thorough and my nails turned out great and lasted for over a week which for me is pretty good because I wash my hands often with 2 small kids. IT'S EXPENSIVE!! But they only get one star taken away from that. Although it IS in Beverly Hills. So, it shouldn't be surprising. I came here about a month ago to get my nails done. It's a very convenient location for me since I work down the street. I didn't want to drive all the way home to get them done so I decided to deal with the potential high cost for convenience purposes. I got a manicure and a pedicure, both gel. They did a GREAT job. Everyone was very friendly the entire time and I was/still am more than satisfied with their work. I payed a total of $60 (not including tip). To me, that's very expensive for non-acrylic work. However, I do not regret it. I'll add a photo of the work done a month ago. I barely got some chipping just a few days ago but I'm thrilled they have lasted this long!
