I thought I'd give a little update review. I will state clearly - I'm about to tell you something not so great that I've accidentally done to Terry, the lady who works on my doodle. Do not do this. I don't do it on purpose. I will also preface this by saying that I am memory impaired along with a healthy dose of AuDHD. If you've never seen real adult adhd in action, the following would be an example. Two times (2!) I have completely forgotten my appointment. I don't recall whatever happened the first time but I sure remember the second as it just happened at his last appointment. Terry called me the night before my darling doggy's appointment to remind me. The literal night before... She was coming in special for my dog and another one. Now, please know that I have a minimum of five alarms set for just about anything I do. Every appointment, just everything...and even with this, I still mess things up. So, the next day, my husband and I take my parents out for brunch. They are both in their mid to late 80's and it was fun to be able to do this as we don't get to very often. My dog was supposed to be with Terry by noon. We go home and do whatever we did but that night it hits me....omg, I completely forgot about our appointment! I leave Terry a ridiculous phone message in the middle of the night begging forgiveness because seriously...TWICE! I value people's time and will offer to pay them even if we missed because it sucks to be stood up and lose out on the money one would have made...but I'm not so sure Terry will want to keep us as clients after this. She doesn't know I'm memory impaired and have a cool little side problem with time blindness. It's also not her problem, ya know? I sweat it all weekend. She gets back to me that following business day and doesn't fire us as clients. Honestly, probably because my doodleboy is very friendly, well behaved and Terry likes him. lol His owner just happens to be a memory-free nutjob at the other end of the leash! But I digress. She gets him scheduled back in and of course, he comes out cute and happy. Why do dogs love those groomer bandanas so much? I can hardly get Cooper out of his! He's not my first dog to love them either. So, now I am desperately hoping I can keep from forgetting again. Neither my memory nor my time blindness care about how important something may be. Everything is fair game but I will do my best to not repeat. In any case, Terry at Robin's gives me a consistently good result and my dog is always happy when I get him. I really appreciate her for this and also because of her patience with me, and I'll say so even if she never sees this. read more

Robin has groomed our mini schnauzer, Charlie, several times. Each visit she has improved his looks. Recently she added a few more touches- a flag tail and a new trim pattern on his face. Beware if you have a cat, with mats galore pleez don't take them here. Girl doesn't know what a LION CUT is for one thing. My cat had so many blood spots everywhere on her body. You don't cut off their WHISKERS!!!!! I would like to know who gave this girl a license or does she have one??? I brought my dog into Robin's pet salon and he was quite matted from being in the water and his hair growing out not liking to be brushed ,he got a nice summer cut and Terri did a fantastic job!! Just in time for the heat wave. He even got a blue bowtie and looked so cute when I picked him up he was happy and they treated him like their own. thank you for fitting me in I know all the groomers are so booked right now! I just got a 14 yr old Westie from NOAH and I didn't have a groomer. Lilly was grown out all over and NOAH did her nails because they were severely over grown. I asked the young lady helping me with the adoption if she had a groomer to recommend and she told me about Robin's. I called and they got me an appointment within 2 weeks. I told them I didn't care about a traditional Westie cut. My big items were bath because she smelled, sanitary cut around tail and legs, nails and clean feet. The salon is 35 minutes from my house so I stuck around town and waited. When they called to tell me Lilly was ready they brought out this beautiful, soft white Westie who was prancing about as if to say look at me, look at me. I couldn't believe the transformation. I was so happy and the price for this perfection was only $70. I pay $200 every time I get my cat groomed so now I am thinking about changing him over. I have already made a 2nd appointment. Yes, the lobby leaves a bit to be desired but I'm paying for grooming not a swanky lobby. Truly loved their work. read more

I took my dog that has a lot of anxiety and issues to the point that I cannot clip his nails and I had not had an opportunity to have him groomed for almost a year. I cannot believe how beautiful he looked when I picked him up and his nails were clipped to perfection. You just can't get better service than this! I love the smell of the shampoo and how well they have cared for my little butters all these years means the world to me. I came here after being recommended by a friend for a nail clip on my anxious dog. I explained to the owner that she was a tough job as she whines, tries to run away and kicks when getting her nails done. His assistant assured me that she could handle the job alone. The owner even offered her his help and she declined. Not only did she make passive aggressive comments within obvious ear shot to my dog about how I had let her nails get too long and it was my fault she was anxious for not getting them trimmed enough, she also let my dog fall off the table with the leash around her neck. She didn't say anything and was rude handing her back to me. I was absolutely mortified and would never come back. It was also more expensive than anywhere else I've been and they don't take debit or credit I wish I had never given them a chance. Luckily my pup is okay and didn't get hurt, but they could've killed my dog. Never, ever again. read more
