Thomas Car Wash was recently sold to new owners, and I hope that they continue the great service…read moreand washes that Thomas has become known for. I visited again recently. Pretty much anytime I'm on Hurstbourne and have some time, I stop to get my car washed here. I always choose the mid-tier wash for $15, which gets my car clean and shiny. On top of the great wash and the clerks who will power wash the front of your car before you enter -- just to make sure all the bugs and bits are off -- I also appreciate the fact that Thomas has free vacuums for interior cleaning. These have always worked great. You can also powerwash your floor mats. Thomas has those little extra bits that make an experience stand out. Please don't lose those! And I and others will keep coming back.

Update: I received a call a day after submitting my claim and spoke with a very nice man who went…read moreover my claim to get me on the right track. After that call, I took my car to their offered appraisal and currently waiting for a call back. We used to use Thomas car wash a lot as I saw the value they had for washing cars and good pricing. Their prices have gone up, just as everything else has in the past two years. Unfortunately, I lost my car's antenna cover while at the car wash but didn't realize it right away( kids in the car). I was unable to get back to the car wash on the day it happened so I called multiple days only to leave multiple voicemails and never received any response. It was just an antenna cover, not the end of the world. So I finally was able to stop by the car wash to speak with someone only to have them say they had none. And they mentioned to submit my claim online and (hopefully) someone would speak with me. I doubt anyone will reach out, as it's past their 72 hours of mark. I'll keep y'all posted on any feedback from Thomas Car Wash!

I had been going to a car wash in the Highlands, but I was getting increasingly worse service. The…read morecar would come out with big streaks on it, still didnt look 100% clean, and the vacuums would take forever because they had pretty light suction. Enter Mike's. I had just finished up some errands early the other day and thought well heck I might as well wash the old beast while I have the time. I got the basic wash and WOW it was fantastic. The people working were super nice, the wash was amazing - its fascinating how well things get clean when you use an appropriate amount of water and soap - and the process went super quick. My only gripe was that they charge for the vacuums, you get 8 minutes for $2? That seems high. But they worked great, so much so that I ended up leaving 30 seconds on the timer because it went that fast. So I guess I have a new car wash? Thanks Mikes! (also to the one reviewer who said they put a sticker on your car? I didnt experience that, all they did was write a number on the windshield with some kind of grease pen which washed right off)

After a 26-hour round-trip roadtrip plus a tree by my parking pad that likes to drop sap on my car,…read morethe Subaru Outback was in need of a good wash. Mike's was the closest, and it did the trick. The car wash is what you would expect, with different levels of washes and a monthly membership for unlimited washes. I went with the mid-tier option. I was able to get right in and then go to the vacuums to finish the job. One thing I noticed, though, that was different from other washes: You have to pay to use the vacuums, a couple dollars for five or so minutes. This wasn't too expensive but I missed the free vacuuming -- not due to the price but because it helped to be able to use two vacuums to better reach each side of the car and trunk. But I would definitely come here again.
