Dr. Robinson and his staff are amazing. Everyone from the front office staff to hygienists to Dr. Robinson himself. The hygienist I have was the first one who really showed me the best way to brush my gums and floss. I have spark aligners done there as well (like invisilign but in my opinion, better) I needed one tooth a little adjusted because it was bothering me how it would hit my bottom teeth. I had a consultation done with an orthodontist who would have been around $1,400 while Dr. Robinson took a much more conservative and simpler approach where I only needed 1 aligner for around $150. And it fixed the problem. So I got my issue resolved and saved over $1000. Highly recommend him and his team! read more

I went there to clean my teeth this morning, the hygienist saying I have a cold and he does not want to get a flu from me so that he won't clean my teeth. He does not want to pass sickness to his children. Their service is not very good plus his bad attitude. I told him I did not get sick at all. I just sneezed and not contagious at all either. He still insist on rescheduling.I think I will not go to his dental office again because of his bad attitude. read more

'Dr.Brent, with golden hands' Not only golden HANDS but golden HEART and SOUL, too. While some people have one of these, he has all three. Regarding his HEART: He is humble. He is loving towards his patients which in itself is healing. These are not just words. I myself felt his warm love which stayed with me even as I stepped out of the clinic's doorstep. It also is reflected by all his staff even when they just passed by me with a friendly, reassuring 'hello' in the clinic. I instantly felt at ease and welcomed by Tamra's warmth and relaxed confidence at the front desk. Danielle was so kind and patient when she briefly stepped in to help with taking pictures. Shavonne, my assistant, couldn't have been a better match for me with her genuine caring and loving patience with me. Regarding his HANDS: Also hard to express with words is something that to me, is close to a miracle. I am 91 years old and could hardly eat for years because of my teeth and within 2 visits Dr. Brent fixed all my problems. Even from a tiny knob of a residual of a tooth, he created a partially functioning tooth that helps me chew, without resorting to crown it. My previous dentist, under the premise of my needing various root canals (without my having symptoms or showing me proof) kept putting off work on that tooth and on some other teeth, letting them all degrade to nonfunctional over the years. He said he couldn't fix any of those teeth until after he did the root canals (which I could neither afford nor believed existed). All of those same teeth, Dr. Brent took care of, no root canals needed! He saved and fixed my existing teeth and it is unbelievable that I now can chew well again and without pain or discomfort. Regarding his SOUL: I wanted minimal work done, I just wanted to save and fix my existing teeth and informed Dr. Brent of that. My daughter, who is an R.N., wanted a bit more work done on me. She told Dr. Brent that she thought that putting in 2 implants would help me chew even better. Dr. Brent, after hearing both of us out and having done a thorough exam, said: " I agree with your Mom. I want what she wants. She'll be able to chew just fine if we do just what she wants." Even though Dr. Brent could've made a lot more money, he listened to what I wanted and did not allow more money to dictate his recommendation. I felt heard. Dr. Robinson is the most thorough and professional dentist I have encountered in my 66 years on earth. Do not let his ad about $999 dental implants fool you. It seems too good to be true but it's not. I am having three done and saving thousands. He is able to do this because he is trained in multiple procedures and, for the most part, does not have to refer certain work out to others. From tooth extraction, to implants, to crowns, he does it all. He has this latest in diagnostic equipment. Stuff I had never seen. Amazing. And he's a great guy. His staff is too. This is the dentist for you IF ... You want 6 months of follow up for an unsuccessful dental procedure and the problem never gets resolved until you go to a new dentist. This is the place for you IF ... you want to be up sold on dental products like the WaterPik because you have "gum issues". A 6week follow up appointment was scheduled at which time they said we don't need to check your gums are fine. Hmmm ... This is the place for you IF ... We used to love the place until they got new front desk staff who are extremely unfriendly, but also the office itself became money hungry. Started doing small things here and there without letting you now it's not covered by your insurance- you go to check out and the Bill you for hundreds out of pocket telling you it was necessary. I referred my parents and they took advantage of their language barrier and had my dad do an X-ray for $300. Then most recently my husband, surprised us by a bill of $45 for an exam that wasn't done or requested, it was a regular cleaning. We told them we aren't coming back and the girl said okay I'll cancel your future appointments. Shows how much they value their patients- not!! They lost 4 patients for now along with everyone else we referred to them and won't be going back. Lots of other honest dentist offices out there. Thanks anyways! read more

I've been to Dr. Robinson twice and have been very impressed with both the quality of the work he's done as well as his friendly approach. He's very thorough and tries to find the underlying problem for any issue that comes up. He and his staff explain the work that they're doing throughout the process and help try to put you at ease. His hygienists are very thorough in the cleaning. Sometimes this is a little uncomfortable, but I'd rather have them do a detailed job than leave a problem for another day. I received a reply from Roger W. indicating I had years of service and was suddenly blasting this man. It was from Salem, Or. When you are a loyal patient it does not take time to send you to yelp. I talked to the staff which he relieved of their duties. I talked to him. Things did not change appreciatively. I had a crown put on by him. He either replaced it or used the one I saved four times. The last time he indicated that he was going to a really good job so it would stay. One time it came off with gummy bears, another while chewing on a steak and another while eating a ham sandwich. The least amount of time that it stayed on was 2 weeks. Oh well, I am moving so I won't have to deal with this. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years. However, my husband just retired and does not have dental insurance. They are now charging us well over double for a crown, what we were charged when we had insurance and had to pay out of pocket. What is even worse, we used 2 different cards at the office that we only use for emergencies, and a few days later, the number was being used someone else. If it weren't for Dr. Brent Robinson, I would have lost most of my teeth by now! Plus, he helped my marriage! My story begins over twenty-five years ago. At a soccer game for our sons, I confessed to one of the parents that I had a terrible toothache, but my dentist couldn't figure out the cause. I was surprised to learn that the other parent was a dentist -- Dr. Don Robinson -- Dr. Brent's father. I made an appointment with Dr. Don, who discovered that I had two dying nerves at the same time! Dr. Don took excellent care of my family's dental needs over the next 25 years, during which I was in a car accident that caused me to have a chronic muscle pain and fatigue disease, fibromyalgia. The fibromyalgia medication gave me an exceedingly dry mouth. I can still hear Dr. Don telling me, "Your gums will recede... and you're going to get lots of cavities." When Dr. Brent was still in dental school, I experienced the worst dental pain I'd ever had. After consulting with Brent about my case (because he was learning the latest dental techniques at the University of WA), Dr. Don told me he thought I had trigeminal neuralgia. So when Dr. Brent took over his father's practice, although I missed Dr. Don, I had confidence in Dr. Brent and was delighted to have him as my dentist. I figured I had the best of both worlds: Brent has his father's ethics, and he's young enough to see me through old age! I was devastated when the "Dry Mouth Predictions" hit me. Though I took good care of my teeth, invariably when I went in for my 6 month check ups I'd need to have a root canal procedure. I even lost two bridges -- the equivalent of six teeth! (Dr. Brent referred me to a specialist who replaced the missing teeth with dental implants.) To stop the rampant tooth decay caused by my lack of saliva, Dr. Brent prescribed fluoride mouthwash and fluoride toothpaste. I'm happy to say that the plan worked -- I didn't have a single cavity when I had my last check up! I like that Dr. Brent is continuing to learn new dental techniques. If I had to have another tooth extracted today that required implant replacement, Dr. Brent would most likely perform the procedure himself -- saving me the inconvenience of having to go to a specialist and money. And his staff is warm and caring. No one has ever made me feel rushed, or that they were too busy to talk to me. I'm married to a guy who used to keep me awake at night snoring; sometimes I wanted to slug him! Dr. Brent asked me if my husband snored, then told me he could make Spouse an appliance that would stop the snoring! Dr. Brent did make a Snore Guard for Spouse, and now Spouse and I both sleep better. If he forgets to wear his appliance before he falls asleep, Spouse asked me to wake him up and remind him to put it in, because when he uses it, he feels so much better the next day. We have noticed that Dr. Brent Robinson has some of the same traits as his father. Dr. Don seemed to take it personally if it hurt when he was administering anesthetic; Dr. Brent is just as conscientious. And, like his dad, while he's working on my teeth Dr. Brent hums a goofy tuneless tune, which is somehow very comforting. It should be clear by now that I'm a member of Dr. Brent Robinson's fan club. But he sealed the deal with his response when I told him I would be bringing my 90 year old mother in for an appointment. He said, "I'll treat her just like I'd treat my own grandmother: With respect, I'll make sure she can chew her food, and I'll try to keep the cost down by avoiding doing unnecessary work." Tell me, who wouldn't love a guy who says such considerate things about her mother? After her appointment, I asked Mom what she thought of Dr. Robinson. She answered, "I like him. He listens when I tell him what's bothering me, and then he fixes it." read more

I saw no decline in service or talent, and in fact, if anything, Brent has modernized the office quite a bit! Always friendly, always professional and your comfort is a top priority. I was CHARGED $662.00 for a standard 6 months cleaning. When I brought it to Brents attention he played the Lance Armstrong defense. He doesn't understand why I'm complaining about paying almost 3 times the standard amount. I have tried taking care of this with out writing a review but got no where. I have been coming to Robinson Dental since my first tooth came in, around 1982. My care has always been gentle and effective, since I have only needed 2 fillings over 30 years! Dr. Don was great, and I'm also happy to see Dr. Brent, who has introduced some new technology into the office. Lip balm would be a nice treat to take home after an hour in the chair - but they don't currently offer it, hint, hint. I am changing my review after the experience I had at Robinson Dental on one of my visits. Prior to this visit I had seen Dr. Robinson a few times and had no complaints (minus he always seemed a bit rushed with me). I was getting a cavity filled and Dr. Robinson dropped a tool in my mouth that cut my lip/gums. It was a very traumatic experience and I know he felt horrible about it. I returned shortly after that to have the remainder of the cavities filled and I was very nervous and a bit traumatized by the situation that had occurred previously, and asked for gas to sooth my nerves for the procedure. A few minutes after receiving gas, one of the Dental Hygienists approached me about my decision to get the gas and began questioning me about the reasons, if it related to what had happened previously and tried to deter me from getting Nitrous Oxide. I felt extremely uncomfortable being questioned in this state about my choice. I wanted nothing more than to run out of that office. After I had my cavities filled I went to the counter to pay for the gas and I was told that it would be on the house due to the experience I had had. It was a nice and unexpected gesture considering all that had happened. What was not nice was receiving a bill in the mail weeks later for the Nitrous Oxide gas that they said I wouldn't be charged for. It was the final straw for me and I have decided to go elsewhere for my dental work. I am sure what happened to me was an unusual occurrence and Dr. Robinson is a great dentist, but how the situation was handled was very bothersome. read more
