Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. I would never have thought to combine these two ingredients, but they work beautifully together. It's a very warm and comforting dish, and the mint, cilantro, and radish garnish helps provide a bit of contrast. I liked the sour cream drizzle on top, too. I feel like this dish could really be fantastic if they adjusted the thickness and amount of curry sauce (the noodles are swimming in it like a soup) and provided more herbs and radishes on top. It could also benefit from a crispy topping to provide textural contrast. I've had other things from here that I've liked, but that weren't anything special. Like the Malaysian curry, their chicken tikka masala sauce also has a very runny texture, instead of the thicker richer sauces I've had elsewhere. And their bao buns are honestly not worth buying, since they have no hoisin sauce or creamy aioli/slaw element that binds together the rather dry meat, pickle slices, and scallions in each bun. They seem to exclusively be a grab and go kind of place, which makes sense to me as it's in a college town. Inside it's small and rather bleak, without any kind of decoration and not much seating. They take a pretty long time to prepare orders too, so plan ahead in case you're in a hurry.

The staff was attentive, but would benefit from a team briefing about the menu and ingredients. I spent decades in hospitality management and understand the benefit of staff tastings before serving. That practice elevates the experience for attendees by assuring that the staff is well-versed on the ingredients and preparation before they interact with guests. For example, readers of my reviews understand that I have food, allergies. It's important for me to be discreet about asking what ingredients are used in the preparation at a past hors d'oeuvres event. On two occasions within the same half hour, I asked the server if there were any alliums used in the preparation. They did not know what alliums were so I explained that garlic and onion family is something I was not able to eat safely. Both times, the server did not know what ingredients were used and offered to check with the kitchen. That's a great back up plan but unfortunately, that server never returned to me, presumably he was intercepted along the way by other guest who wanted to sample what was on his tray Preparing the staff in advance of an event is crucial. This was the only failure that I could see. My experience would have been elevated to four stars had the servers been better trained. The view and tasteful renovations resulted in the additional star for a total of four stars.
