Not our first time at this restaurant but always appreciate the service and food. Because it's not on our usual routes we forget how much we enjoy it here. We are always warmly greeted and seated quickly. Our waiter was accommodating and personable. He took our orders and food started coming out quickly. We had chicken specials and the saffron risotto which had a nice amount of shrimp and scallops. We have been going here for years, their service and food is always outstanding. Bella is a wonderful waitstaff. Last evening, we had the artichoke hearts with lemon aioli, I had the ribeye, my wife had the linguini with white clam sauce. My wife and I have lived in the area for about two years. We always drive by and pass the restaurant but never stop in. We made to right decision of going to dinner last night. Wow were we impressed. The service, atmosphere and food were first class. For an appetizer we had the portobello mushroom with ricotta cheese, out of this world. The flavor was outstanding. For dinner my hice had the seared salmon and I ordered the special, the Chilean sea bass. Both dishes are absolutely exquisite. The fish flakes off with just a fork, the flavors were phenomenal. I have been to this establishment many times and always felt the food was ok, but certainly not great. Some of my family have frequented this place a lot and I never understood why. Tonight I went again with a large party. Service was good. My meal was again subpar. Short rib ravioli with a butter truffle sauce. Nothing truffle flavor about it. Ravioli was thick and chewy, not much different than any frozen dinner. I had a Cesar salad with the dinner which much to my surprise was extra. The wait staff failed to inform us of that. Most restaurants give you the choice of on or the other. That really annoyed me. When I asked the waiter about it he said my sister had been here enough times that she should have known that. Then I had a cappuccino. No biscotti with it and the steamed milk tasted sour. I have never written a bad review on a restaurant but tonight just left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. We heard a lot if good things about La Casa from different people. We went for Sunday dinner. It has a comfortable atmosphere though the heater made a lot of noise. I asked the person who seemed to be the owner for his suggestions and he basically had no personality and nothing to say. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The bread dip was very nice and the bread was okay. We all enjoyed the grilled octopus and the mushroom appetizer. And We liked the salad with blue cheese dressing a lot. However, the main entrees were a disappointment. We returned the two risottos because they were undercooked. My chicken parmigiana was very basic. The pasta and sauces for all dishes were bland. Overall, all of the meals lacked flavor including the rack of lamb and the short rib ravioli. read more

Went here for dinner Friday night on a double date with friends. From the moment we walked in until we left, the service was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant and attentive. We started with the calamari and the stuffed mushrooms that were on the specials menu. Both were quite tasty but the mushrooms were amazing! The sauce was just out of this world. For entrees we had: chicken parm, saffron risotto, duck and the chicken and lobster. Everyone was quite pleased with the order. We were so full we did not get dessert. This place is a hidden gem! It is pretty big inside. Its clean and inviting. Family owned. The staff is very friendly and comfortable. There is ample parking. There are two sides with a bar in the middle. This place does banquets and parties on one side and the regular restaurant on the other side. I had the Lobster Bisque soup, for my appetizer and a salad. The soup was good with nice flavor. My main course was the Lobster Ravioli in a truffle butter sauce. (Ravioli Aragosta). It was really good. The serving portions are just right, not too small and not too large portions. You definitely get your monies worth here. The prices aren't overly expensive, you wont break your budget eating here. I will definitely eat here again. We walked in and were promptly seated. These two recent negative reviews (both from the same party) are so exaggerated and could not be further from the truth. The staff did their best to accommodate this party by putting a separate table together for them and making special arrangements for them. It was Mother's Day and understandably the restaurant was very busy (a good thing). Now for this group to pull the race card? Please. Do us all a favor and stay home and order in. Found this place after some googling and the reviews seemed promising so we decided to give it a try. All of the food and drinks were absolutely delicious and the service was great. All of the staff we interacted with were wonderful.. bartender, waiters, bus boys and possibly an owner/manager were extremely nice. My toddler ended up spilling his water on the floor and even though it was embarrassing for us no one made us feel as if it were a problem or inconvenience. The ambiance was wonderful as it seemed like a place where they have a lot of regulars, so it felt homelike in the best way. We will definitely be back.. (with a spill proof sippy cup!) read more
