He sub-contracts out his work. He did not disclose this when he came to evaluate roof and information for the job. Also Gary does not come back and supervise/monitor his sub-contractors. You pay a lot for unreliable craftsmanship. Go elsewhere if you want consistent quality. Gary did my friend's roof and it started leaking a month after. She had to have the whole roof ripped off and done again because the sub-contractor Gary trusted with the job didn't complete the layers of the roof properly. Go elsewhere. read more

I highly doubt this business is professionally done and doing good, if you consider this business I wouldn't. My calls and my friends calls are never answered always forwarded to voicemail, I don't know how this business is still functioning. I'm not happy with my results. The workers are lazy seem to be current drug addicts or former drug addicts, one worker did absolutely no physical work to check my gutters just some cheap drone, for pictures ... I still have leaks so eventually I went to Jesses Gutters, they care about you and not just about the money. read more

I called Gary's Gutters to replace all the gutters and downspouts on a 3000 Sq. Ft house. They were at the house in 15 mins and scheduled an installation time in 4 days. A few hours later they called to move up my installation to the next day. They came the next day as agreed and completed the job in 2 hours. They workers were very clean and they took away all the old gutters. I am 200% pleased with their service. Gary Jr. Is very professional and I would recommend their service to anyone. I find Gary's Gutter service to do good work, but they are very expensive. Also, Gary subs his work out to independent gutter companies. As such, another company is doing the work (in a shoddy looking truck with Gary's name on it). The independent want a certain amount for doing the job, and then Gary adds on his percentage. That is why Gary's prices are so high. Next time I will shop around. I like to keep business local, but not if it is going to cost me twice as much money. read more

Very quick to provide estimate for chimney mortar and crown work. Also quick to send a crew of day laborers to do the job. (As most contractors do). Not so quick to return any calls 2 months later when I noticed the chimney crown was cracking and falling apart. Have yet to hear back. read more

You should stay away from Gary's as he use to be an honest company. I installed gutters few years ago from them and overall it was a painless process and I was happy. This year a few of screws from gutter brackets was broken and I decided to call them for repair. They charge me $125 and screw the gutter to the roof rather than screwing the brackets to support. What a sham and dishonest workmanship. Gary maybe you are getting too big or hiring a totally dishonest subcontractor to work for you. Never again. read more

I hired this service to clean snow off my roof this past Winter. I will NEVER hire them again, and neither should you! First of all, I was quoted a price on the phone when I made the appointment. After the work was done I was told I owed almost $200.00 more because they sent over an extra guy. I refused and stuck to the price quoted, which I ended up paying. Secondly, I am still paying for their work because they work like a blunt instrument that doesn't seem concerned about the consequences of their work. They ripped off some roof shingles, but more important was the damage done to landscaping I have meticulously cared for over the years.The workers dumped the roof snow onto my bushes, when the could have tried to aim elsewhere. The damage has murdered three bushes, that I will need to replace, and came close to damaging a major decorative set of bushes in the front of my home. Even after everything else had melted, I had to break up caked up snow and ice on other bushes, in order to save them. The amount of snow that they threw down on my landscaping was so dense that it hadn't melted even into April! I'll know better than to ever call them again. Be warned. read more

Never hire this guy. He sent a subcontractor who came in with 14 years old son and had no clue how to do a job properly.

I contracted with Gary's Gutter to rebuild the upper 1/3 of my chimney. The team was totally unprofessional. The rebuild had to be done twice in order to get a straight and square chimney. With the first build care was taken to find a fairly close match to the existing bricks. With the second build the bricks don't match at all and even the mortar is a different color. In addition in the course of their work, with one of their trucks they knocked over a brick wall at the head of the drive way. Instead of putting down a tarp to protect the lawn and make cleanup easier, they threw bricks from both rebuilds onto the lawn requiring me to cleanup small pieces and reseed. A residue of mortar has been left on the new roof. On top of all of that the team did not have some of the basic tools necessary for their work. They borrowed from me a ladder, a plastic container to carry mortar, a brush to clean with, garbage bags and a tarp to cover the chimney for the night. Also Gary is over-priced. Another quote from a well respected mason came in after the job was started. It was $700 less than what I paid Gary. read more
