I really appreciated Ken's easy-going demeanor, and sensed zero interest in him trying to sell me a repair service that wasn't needed. Ken is just an honest guy offering his experienced opinion - in no doubt, putting yet another homeowners' unwarranted concerns to rest. I discovered Sergio after I saw his incredible work/remodeling to the house next door to me. We arranged our first meeting whereby he bought his laptop, and provided numerous options and designs for my bathroom remodel. Fortunately, Sergio has great ideas and suggestions, making the process of decision making, ie. what materials to use, design options, etc. The process started right on cue, and the ETA for completion of 4-5 weeks was righty on the money! Scope of work: Kitchen + Master Bath + Guest Bath complete demo and remodel, downstairs flooring…read more(from carpet/tile to LVP), tile around the fireplace, and door/frame repaint Few things I wish I knew before starting the project (this was my first big renovation): - When obtaining quotes, clearly communicate the materials you want included in the quote (e.g., quote based on current layout, quote based on kitchen cabinets going all the way to the ceiling, quote based on shower tiles going all the way to the ceiling, etc.). This will help to make the quotes more comparable and will ensure there aren't any major surprises along the way. - Confirm working hours (e.g., what time they will start each day, what time they will finish each day, do they work weekends, etc.). - If you have the space, buy new appliances as soon as possible. Similarly, order shower glass doors as soon as tiling is done. You never know when something will go out of stock or if there will be unexpected delays in delivery. - Be prepared to make all the design choices (unless you hire a separate designer). They will opine on something very specific if you ask and will definitely bring something to your attention if they think you're about to make a huge mistake, but in general, you are responsible for all the materials selection. We met with 6 contractors before selecting Entourage. Of the 6 we met with, only 2 encouraged doing things "by the book" (i.e., getting the proper permit from the city). In fact, some of them actively discouraged us from obtaining the permit. Given the magnitude of the project, it made us a bit nervous that some of the contractors didn't want us to pull the proper permit (we understood that obtaining the permit will add to our budget and timeline and were ok with it). Of the 2 that did recommend doing things by the book, we went with Entourage because their pricing was more reasonable. FYI, Entourage handles all the work related to pulling the permit for minimal cost. Overall, we are very happy with how our house turned out and plan to hire them on future projects (we have also recommended them to several friends). Entourage's quality of work, especially as it relates to tiling, is just amazing. In fact, friends that came over to check out the "new" house commented on how they thought the project would've cost way more than what we ended up spending. Our primary contact, Paulina, was super responsive and helpful. They estimated that the project would take 3 - 4 months and it was completed almost exactly on the 3-month mark. We stopped by their showroom about three to four times to pick out the tile, countertop, cabinets, etc. and each time Tim was very accommodating and patient. He assisted but was not overbearing at all in terms of helping us choose what would look best and gave some great tips and points. Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. We did feel 12 bags of self leveling concrete was excessive when it looked like it was only used on a few corners of the room in a job less than 900 sq feet. Unfortunately one of the stair nosing broke within a couple weeks of install. Rafi was responsive in redoing the stairs stating it was a manufacturing defect and that the new version is stronger. Unfortunately the second team quality of work was very poor. They left holes in our walls that were patched poorly with plaster. Worst of all the stairs were apparently nailed to the subfloor and after a few weeks they started to rise leaving little holes and nails protruding from the floor. A few of the stair noses are loose as well. At this point, Rafi became unresponsive to have the flooring fixed. We ended up getting some of our money back through our credit card after months went by but the majority of the payment was by check. Basically we will need to replace the stairs again on our own dime. Buyer beware! Lifetime warranty doesn't mean anything if the installer ghosts you.

I originally contacted Paul after I had been ripped off by a so called "tile contractor" who had attempted to re-tile my shower. You would not believe how bad a job this guy did. It looked horrendous. Nothing was level. The grout was discolored. I couldn't stand to look at it. When I contacted Paul I was originally seeking a price to have the shower re-grouted in an attempt to try and make it look better. Paul came out and after speaking to him I was very impressed with his knowledge of the trade and his honesty. I hired Paul to complete the tile work on our tub (that was left undone by the other guy - don't want to refer to him as a contractor). Paul did a beautiful job on the tub. After some arm twisting I convinced my husband to hire Paul to redo our shower. Paul did a BEAUTIFUL job. He was completely reliable and delivered everything he promised. Our 5 week remodel took 4 months before we could use our new bathroom. We recently closed escrow on a home and my wife and I were deciding between removing all of the tiles on the ground floor and installing hardwood laminate or redoing the tiles. This team is amazing! They turned our outdated bathroom into a luxurious retreat with every attention to detail. Paul is very easy to talk and was open to our ideas (even if our ideas weren't the best). You can tell he's been doing this a long time and is up to date with the trends. Paul contacted me for a quote and came on a Saturday. We needed our old tile kitchen counter grout replaced following a terrible prior grout job. The tile is about 25 years old and we have no extra pieces. Paul and his partner removed all the old grout without any cracks or breaks! The work was slow and tedious and was done with little noise and no dust. The replacement grout is beautiful and the kitchen counter looks new! During the initial Consultation Alex walked us through what the process would look like and provided an idea of expectations and price range based off my previous quotes. Throughout the entire project, Alex was really easy to communicate with. He was on top of all the contractors and anytime we needed an update (because I wanted them often) he would call me with detailed information. Being our first remodel experience we had a lot of questions and didn't understand how everything worked, but Alex took his time to walk us through it all. He showed up weekly to check on the status of the project and communicated daily on what is happening next. We asked his team to do some appliance and window installation which they did. And if they didn't feel comfortable doing specialty installation he was up front and let us know. Everything in the project was well documented in the contract which helped guide expectations and communication. We were given a 12 week timeline and we got delayed from manufactures due to the holiday season. However, Alex's contractors worked weekends and in the end completed the project a week early. During the final walk thru and weeks after we found little things that needed finished touch ups and his team came back to fix or touch up everything we asked for. Even a month later Alex was available immediately to help with questions/ concerns. My only recommendation is at his team consider accepting cash or credit card to collect points. At this time, they only accept checks or money order. Overall we love our kitchen and would recommend using House Of Remodeling and Alex as our project manager again.

He's been fast, very responsive, and on budget. When anything outside scope of the original plan came up he let me know immediately and priced it fairly. Could not recommend him more highly. Very happy to know him and will definitely work with him again.

All three showers completely rebuilt.Waterproofing, new tile, new fixtures, new shower doors. All bathrooms had new tile floors installed. All new light fixtures in all bathrooms. Master bathroom new vanity installed. He doesn't do a lot of advertising, goes by referral. We found him on yelp, after many quotes his company stod out. Pedro has expert knowledge, work ethic , eye for details and competitive pricing. He will do what is right, it has been a pleasure to work with Pedro and team. We would definitely use his company again.

They were able to meet our budget which allowed us to include the kitchen. Fidel and Ana did excellent work with all the demo, finishes, tile work, etc. The only issue was the scheduling and timeliness, but it was minor considering the quality of work. Troy was there throughout the entire process to ensure work was progressing smoothly and even helped me with my return of a defective appliance. They even guarantee their work for 5 years which gives me assurance to my investment.

It looks fabulous and I am so happy with both the product and the installation. Next the whole inside of my home was painted. Sherman Williams Bamboo was the color I chose for the walls and white for doors and trim. Francisco and his helper Eduardo were excellent painters! I also had new countertops and sinks installed in two bathrooms. Lester and Alex did a great job! And then Brian was the plumber who installed three faucets in two bathrooms. I highly recommend this company. The price for the services was good and the over all supervision was very good too! Troy really keeps in top of the whole process!

I thought I already reviewed this business, so my apologies if this is a repeat…read more Good: was able to use existing flooring into the laminate flooring section. He was the Only contractor who didn't try to upsell me into buying an entirety different flooring for the entire room. That is why there are 4 stars rather than fewer because of the bad below. Communication was great in the beginning. Bad: some hidden tile sections weren't finished. He came back right away to fix them. However, one that was noticed after he came out once to fix it wasn't fixed. They didn't put the toilet on correctly and we had to fix that ourselves. He stopped responding.

He is incredibly hardworking, consistently shows up early, and is even willing to work on holidays to keep the project moving. His pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of his work. He collaborated with us on the tile layout, paid close attention to detail, and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving each day. We are extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend him.
