Louisiana Jambalaya
Jen A.

From the hostess to the waiter and good runner everyone was very kind, quick and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is pretty cool being rustic and industrial feeling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food never disappoints. Typically I get the cheese tortellini or the salmon but decided to try something different tonight, the jambalaya. I think I have a new favorite dish. I'm not big on spice and this was perfect. Hubby got his trusty ol' shepherds pie. Will definitely be back, yet again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spacious interior that offers the ability to spread parties out. The have a bar area, billiards, outside patio and normal table and chair and high top tables and chairs available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is always friendly and welcoming. We have been here a couple times recently as we love the trivia nights. Brewers bread is amazing. The pizza sauce that comes with it is great. Chicken quesadillas are very good. The Dagwood Burger. I order it medium rare but it was serve red medium. That said it had great flavor. The onion rings on top were not crispy and were not as warm as the actual burger which tells me they probably were not made fresh for the burger. Bacon, Canadian bacon, cheese and bbq were all delicious. Fries were generous and delicious. Water Street Wheat. 5.8ABV. Unfiltered German style w/banana, clove, hefeweißen yeast. DEEEELICIOUS. Prost!

Brew-tiful! Solid beer. Good food. Excellent knowledgeable service. This huge beer hall is good for groups and dates. I came here around dinnertime on a Friday with my big fam of like 14 people and we were seated right away. Their German-style Water Street Wheat was amazingly good and so are their Bavarian Pretzels- crusty on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Cheers! NOTES/TIPS: **Easy parking in their huge lot. **Huge menu. Something for everyone. Good kids menu.

Stopped in to watch lions game at the bar as I wanted to try this place. The beers were very good and was pleasantly surprised how many items were on menu! I ordered the shepherds pie and wow it was huge and very good! Next time I'll order the cup as the regular portion is way too much for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar was full but everyone was super friendly and just a great atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was super friendly and I actually joined the mug club as it's a great deal! Definitely coming back for sure, probably many times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is huge and has tons of seating as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The perfect starting point for a night out with friends before going to see the holiday lights down Main Street in Rochester, MI. There is a beer for everyone here (along with wine and seltzer) and the food is fantastic. Get the jambalaya, the best in all of Michigan in my opinion.

Solid place. The food was decent, nice attentive service, and a decent beer selection.

The menu is vast and features a lot of traditional Irish inspired options and they are famous for their signature boxties. I recently had their Burrata Caprese salad and it was delicious! The tomatoes were fresh and the balsamic glaze was well balanced with the baby greens dressed in a light vinaigrette . For my drink I had the Dragonberry Mojito and it was refreshing, but could've been a little stronger. The staff was friendly, but service was a little slow and our waiter didn't check on us as often as we would've liked for water refills. They have a great happy hour from 3 to 5 PM with half off all appetizers and house wine for only $3!

Outside of happy hour, the drinks and food are pricey. $9 beers/$16 cocktails. Ambiance is an Irish pub. The place was nearly empty, but the servers were really slow and inattentive. I ordered the Irish potato skins and the corned beef is brown and crumbled like ground beef, which was not what I was expecting. Although I didn't order it this visit, I have enjoyed their donegal chips and dip. I'd be interested in attending a live music night in the future.

The location at Second and Main Street with open air dining on this beautiful June day in Michigan was very inviting. I took a seat in the dining room and was quickly greeted by a friendly server (Gabbi). I ordered the Salmon Sandwich which included a Teriyaki glaze and Asian slaw with a side of sweet potato fries and a Labatt pilsner draft which was served quickly in a cold pint glass which was enjoyable on a warm afternoon. The sandwich is a little sticky to eat, so maybe not on a date night unless you really want to be stuck with the person you're accompanied by, but it was very tasty and I would order again. Another lady was kind enough to drop off a special sauce to complement the sweet potato fries that was delicious. It seemed was a combination of yogurt, cream cheese and cinnamon possibly. The restaurant was about 30% full on this day in the early afternoon which made for an enjoyable quiet stop. It really reminded me of being Up North in Michigan on this day as this experience included several families enjoying time together on a beautiful Michigan afternoon in a nice downtown.

Right now it's Hanana Nights and the menu is Cuban. We ordered cocktails while we decided on dinner. My wife ordered Hotel Nacional and I got Call Your Mother. For dinner I ordered the pork shank and my wife the pineapple burger. She liked the burger, but stole most of my plantains and rice! The pork was delicious. Cooked to a perfect tenderness that fell off the bone. It was super flavorful and, while I didn't get much of the rice or plantains due to my wife, they were excellent. We had a nice table which started quiet and proceeded to get louder and more vibrant as the night went on. Service was fine and fast throughout. She had the Smoky Maintain which was strong enough for her to ask for an extra splash of pineapple juice. I had an Amaretto Sour which was nicely presented and tested good enough. It wasn't as strong as hers though. She ordered their Salmon Bowl which had both teriyaki and boom boom sauce; tasted good and was an ample size. My steak and frites came. The steak itself needed a little more seasoning and could have been larger but the truffle fries were top shelf. The chimichuri sauce was good too. The key lime pie for dessert presented well, but it packed the tartness one wants. There was too much whipped cream and not enough lime. That was the only real disappointment. Everything else was pretty great. A 4.6 rounds to 5.
