I usually would do it myself but I was extremely pregnant and it was not safe for me to handle chlorox etc. The apartment certainly needed a deep clean after being lived in for years but it was NOT filthy since it had been painted and the floors were re-done. The bathtub was being re-done as well and was not ready so I asked them to clean around it. The stove and fridge were also brand new. It is a two bedroom, one bath. Two women came to clean (one was almost 30 minutes late with no phone call indicating that she would be arriving late). Once they had changed they immediately started requesting supplies that were beyond what we had discussed over the phone. I provided them with everything even though each time they would send me back for something else. I left them in the apartment and when I came back an hour later, the door was chained. It was 3pm in Prospect Heights-- NO reason to chain the door shut when it could simply be locked. When I called later and asked if this was a standard practice of the company, I was told that it was not. After 3 hours of work, my husband came back to pay them and he was told not to enter the apartment because the "floors were wet." He paid them and tipped them without thinking much of it. They also demanded that he give them a 5 star review on the spot. He told them he would have to wait for me to see the place. When I came back the next day (moving day), i was SHOCKED that the only thing they did in 3 hours was mop the floor (with a dirty mop) and clean the windows. They did not open one kitchen cabinet and did not even appear to have entered the bathroom. I had to clean the entire apartment myself. When I called back, I will say that Claudette offered a "discount' on future cleaning services which is a joke. I would NEVER call them again. I think the positive reviews are either fake or maybe they have a huge disparity in staff. EIther way, BEWARE.

Finally she threatened when leaving saying "i will send the invoice and you will see what happens if you do not pay". We also received an exaggerated invoice which was 50% more than we agreed which we have in writing from the time of booking, and she left halfway! In the text she also mentioned that we blocked her from communication despite her repeatedly sending us messages. It's the worst experience we've ever had dealing with a cleaner.
