It's how you deal with them that makes all the difference. If they had simply apologized and fixed their mistake, I wouldn't have to be writing this bad review.

I was a little nervous about taking my beloved chairs to Wild, so I started with a few pieces that needed repair that I wasn't so in love with. They did an excellent job. I took the chance and talked to them about the chairs. Net/net, they did a fantastic job! The only issue was that it took a long time to get the leather we wanted. Since they are a small shop, they don't have the quick access that a larger shop has. However, once they had the leather, it took just a few weeks to complete the job. Another thing to be aware of is that they couldn't do pick-up and delivery. I had to get the chairs to them and back home, which we did. We are so happy that our 25-year-old chairs look like new. If you have the time to wait and the ability to get the items to them, I highly recommend their services!

I was given a 3-hour window for both, and the pro arrived well within the first 30 minutes for the pickup, and right on the stroke of the first hour for the delivery. I would definitely use these guys again and would recommend them to others.

I have very high praise for Mr. Green Carpet Care. The entire service achieved excellent results and was prompt, professional, cheerful, efficient, knowledgeable, and remarkably painless considering the traumatic experience of moving all that furniture into a smaller room for the day. The first moment was not my favorite. They were so completely booked that we couldn't have the job done before our big wine tasting/dinner party. (I had called about two weeks in advance, so be warned!) We scheduled the Monday after that Saturday night, and got to work preparing the living room on Sunday. We have a piano and a winekeeper (I think of it as a refrigerator in the living room), as well as a couch and a loveseat that needed cleaning and wouldn't fit in the bedroom anyway. And a few file cabinets and a desk, etc. So there was a lot of furniture to work around. The team that arrived (Eddie and Louis) took it in stride. I bet they've seen worse! And about arrival: Rachel, the kind, professional voice who made the appointment with me, gave me a time range of 10 am to noon. I started getting nervous at 10:45, but when I called Rachel to confirm on that Monday morning, she said without missing a beat that she would call the technician and let me know where he was. Within two minutes (it seemed like one) the technician himself called to say he was 10 blocks away and needed to find parking but no doubt wouldn't be long. Eddie and Louis arrived within 10 minutes of my phone call. Our carpet is many years old and had never been cleaned. Eddie guessed the age with expertise and gently reprimanded me, suggesting that we have the cleaning done every year or so. When I told him we couldn't afford it, he immediately backed off. Later, when he measured the carpet for the bill, he was loose with the tape measure and the 350 sq. ft. that my husband estimated turned into 320 sq. ft. on the final paperwork. Rachel quoted us $110 for each couch, but Eddie charged $99 for the second one because it was really a loveseat. He saved us about $70, he said. I believe him. My favorite moment? He called me into the bathroom when he poured the first bucket of dirty water into the toilet. He wanted to show me what came out of the carpet. "I can imagine what came out of the carpet," I said. Afterward he told me, "Now I'll start the bad part." The bad part was the most trafficked, and there were some heinous stains. While Mr. Green was unable to restore the carpet's original color (moving some things out of the room revealed it) or make every stain disappear (I don't blame them AT ALL, knowing how long we've lived like this), the carpet is bouncier, much lighter, and unquestionably as clean as we possibly could have hoped or wished. And the stink of some unmentionable stains is completely gone. Our apartment smells great! Similarly, the couches are much improved; if not perfectly stainless, the stains are less pronounced. And the sofa and loveseat smell terrific. I wasn't treated like a criminal (I had expected scare tactics and harsh reprimands); I was spoken to in clear, understandable English about billing, aftercare (how long to wait before each section of the room would be fully dry, for example, or being aware of slippery feet as I walked from carpet to tile), what extra services were provided (such as an asthma/allergy prevention), the sequence and moving protocols Eddie and Louis followed. And they were quick, in and out in less than two hours. I told Eddie I would recommend Mr. Green Carpet Care without hesitation, and I am happy to have started here. 4 stars instead of 5 only because they didn't work miracles. read more

If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. After three cleanings with another upholstery cleaning company, our couch cushions were worse than when we first called in to get them cleaned: brown stains that did not exist prior to the first cleaning with this other company were getting darker and darker. In a complete panic, thinking that our couch was ruined, I found Mr. Green Carpet Care through the wonderful reviews on Yelp. Rachel was extremely helpful over the telephone, and offered for two technicians to come by and assess whether or not they could fix the situation. Eddie and his assistant arrived the next day, and offered a trial on one of our cushion covers to ease my mind. It came out beautifully. They came back a few days later to complete the entire job and left the couch better than new. Not only was the work professionally administered and perfectly completed, but the entire team with which I interacted at Mr. Green Carpet Care was thoughtful, extraordinarily helpful, and kind. An additional plus: as someone who doesn't like to use harsh chemicals in the house, I truly appreciate that they use gentle cleaners in their work. I would recommend this company to anyone with the highest of ratings. So grateful I found them! read more

Incredible! Between my dog, my kids and the myriad of clients (I work from home) and guests spilling who knows what on my beige micro suede couch, I was at my wits end and about to go looking for a replacement in a darker color. I had tried everything you can think of to get rid of each little stain...and after a while my couch looked like it was a bad version of camo! I had thought about calling an upholstery cleaner but I was afraid of the chemicals. Then I friend told me about non-chemical steam cleaning and I was intrigued. YELP led me Mr. Green. After reading other reviews I figured why not give it a shot...the worst that could happen was I would lose a little over a $100. Boy was I surprised!!! It took Adi and his assistant a little under half an hour to clean the entire couch and when they were done it looked like new!!! The coolest thing was at the end when they showed me how filthy the water was that they extracted from my couch...yuck! I'm having this done every few months! I booked Mr. Green Carpet Care to steam-clean my sofa and two large wool area rugs (actually edge-bound carpet remnants, which had to be cleaned on-site). Though nothing was stained or badly soiled, everything was in need of a deeper cleaning than standard vacuuming could do. I chose this company because It was important that all cleaning solutions be fragrance free, as I am very sensitive to any soap or chemical odor. I'm happy to say that there was no odor other than wet fabric and wool, which dissipated once everything was dry. Adir, the manager (owner?) of Mr. Green, was very polite and accommodating in all our email exchanges, clearly answering my questions and being very flexible when I had to change our scheduled appointment day and time. Santos was the person who came to do the cleaning, and was there on time and very friendly and polite. He even gave me some invaluable tips on how to handle future stains. Excellent value, no hidden fees, on time!!, kind employees, top notch services that one can feel good about! I first called Mr. Green Carpet Care when I had a few scuffs on a fine upholstered sofa. They cleaned the piece and made it look better than ever. I called them a year later to touch the piece up, and when they had finished, the water that they poured out was very dirty. I was surprised how much soil seeps into a couch over the course of one year, not just in the top layer of fabric, but in the first inch of so of the foam. However, by calling Mr. Green Carpet every year I will now be able to keep a standard of clean and hygienic that I would not otherwise have. This makes me very grateful. On top, Eddie who came to do the cleaning (one year apart mind you) remembered, me, my home, and everything to be done as though it was yesterday. We had an amazing experience with Mr. Green Carpet Care after my daughter spilled hot chocolate right across our living room rug. With 2 young kids I had pretty much given up hope of getting any stains out and hadn't even tried with a few baby food stains in the corner. But the hot chocolate was a step too far. So I called at 7:15 at night and they came the next morning at 11am! I was SO happy! anreven happier that Mr. Green Carpet care restored my super dirty carpet to NEW! I'm serious - it looks amazing! Mr. Green Carpet Care is a true life saver. I called these guys and requested a next day appointment to have their staff clean the carpets of my 3 bedroom apartment. I was desperate because I had only 1 day left to leave my unit and I did not want to lose my deposit. Despite my short notice the guy on the phone was very flexible and he I could still schedule an appointment for me. Early in the morning the following day 2 cleaners showed up and spent an hour and half cleaning my carpets. It's hard to believe how good carpets can look when they are cleaned by real experts. My office furniture recently got seriously damaged in a fire (from smoke and water). I feared I couldn't use it again, mainly because of the smell. I got a solid reference to Adir at MrGreenCarpetCare. I called him, and he came the next day to professionally clean a very nice leather sofa and chair. While housesitting for a friend, I had a bit of a spill on a very expensive white chair. In a panic, I called Mr. Green Carpet Care. Even during a pandemic, they were able to quickly schedule someone to come see the chair. After I inherited my aunt's house, the carpets were DISGUSTING. Disgusting isn't even the word. Beyond disgusting. I could not afford to replace the carpets, so I was told to call a carpet cleaner. This company is the best. I have used Mr. Green's 3 times in the past 5 years, and every time they make my sofa and rug look and feel brand-new. They have been able to get out stains that were very old and seemed permanent - I was honestly stunned it was possible.
