This review has been well over do. Beba's cleaning service came out to a property that I needed to be cleaned late last year. They came on time and really got everything I needed done. The work was beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cost effective way to get professional cleaning done. Do not hire this cleaning company. I got completely SCAMMED by them when I was 9 months pregnant. I hired them to come and deep clean an apartment I was moving into. I usually would do it myself but I was extremely pregnant and it was not safe for me to handle chlorox etc. The apartment certainly needed a deep clean after being lived in for years but it was NOT filthy since it had been painted and the floors were re-done. The bathtub was being re-done as well and was not ready so I asked them to clean around it. The stove and fridge were also brand new. It is a two bedroom, one bath. Two women came to clean (one was almost 30 minutes late with no phone call indicating that she would be arriving late). Once they had changed they immediately started requesting supplies that were beyond what we had discussed over the phone. I provided them with everything even though each time they would send me back for something else. I left them in the apartment and when I came back an hour later, the door was chained. It was 3pm in Prospect Heights-- NO reason to chain the door shut when it could simply be locked. When I called later and asked if this was a standard practice of the company, I was told that it was not. After 3 hours of work, my husband came back to pay them and he was told not to enter the apartment because the "floors were wet." He paid them and tipped them without thinking much of it. They also demanded that he give them a 5 star review on the spot. He told them he would have to wait for me to see the place. When I came back the next day (moving day), i was SHOCKED that the only thing they did in 3 hours was mop the floor (with a dirty mop) and clean the windows. They did not open one kitchen cabinet and did not even appear to have entered the bathroom. I had to clean the entire apartment myself. When I called back, I will say that Claudette offered a "discount' on future cleaning services which is a joke. I would NEVER call them again. I think the positive reviews are either fake or maybe they have a huge disparity in staff. EIther way, BEWARE. read more

The good: came on very short notice and were pleasant. The bad: I had told the person on the phone that the place was filthy, I had just evicted a tenant and it needed thorough cleaning. Three people came to clean. They came with very minimal supplies. They asked to borrow a broom and garbage bags and they had no vacuum. I'm not sure what happened but there was a huge leak in the downstairs apartment that had not been there before. Even though the apartment was empty they did not get the edges of the floor, counters, or mop boards clean. They did not clean under the bathroom cabinet or behind the stove or refrigerator. They left dirt on the walls because "I can't reach it". I would not hire again or recommend. read more

It was the most insanely good cleaning job I have ever seen. The oven and refrigerator look just like new. The backsplash, kitchen sink and counter are the cleanest they've ever been. I don't even know how they got everything so clean but that just shows that they are pros. The bathroom is like a whole new room. We can never get our apts to look as good when we clean as Beba's can make it look in only a few short hours. We got out of the way so they could clean and when we came back we actually laughed out loud with happiness when we saw the end result because we couldn't believe it was the same place. Claudette's team has done the impossible in a time where work ethic is hard to come by. They have pride in their work & stand by it once it's done. Carlos & Rasta showed up yesterday (w a girl training) & helped to deep clean my house which has suffered at the hands of a gut renovation next door. Right now, you're probably doing what I've already done. You're scouring Yelp for the best cleaning service at the most reasonable price. Let me save you some time. It's Beba's. I looked into Handy. I looked at Craigslist. I looked for recommendations on Reddit. And I dug through Yelp -- reading review after review. What I saw... was that a lot of places structure their businesses in a way that either doesn't encourage their cleaners to do a good job, or creates high cost for their customers. I needed someone who would do an amazing job at a fair price that my roommates and I could afford to pay from our own pockets. I believe the way Claudette runs her business makes that possible. As of this review, we've had the initial deep clean, and three follow up cleanings. I'm a very thorough person, and Claudette absolutely meets my expectations. She's excellent at what she does, and on top of that, she's a very kind person. I recommend her 100%. read more

I've used Claudette's services twice: The first time I called her was for a "deep clean" to clean up the atrocious mess my tenants left in my unit after they moved out (we're talking YEARS worth of grease in the oven that was so thick I thought I would have to replace it and oh-so-much mold in the bathroom). I almost cried when I saw what a good job they did! You would never have known the filth that covered that apartment. I used her again after I did some touch-ups to ready the apartment for new tenants (painting, caulking, etc), so there wasn't as much deep filth, but a lot of fine dust/dirt covering the entire place. I'll keep this review short and to the point. Hired them for a cleaning four times 3 out of 4 they were more than an hour late. 2 out of 4 something was either broken or damaged The breaking point was the last cleaning something went missing. Now while I can't prove it was the cleaner who did it, no one else was in my home that day and it was too much of a coincidence. Why I continued to hire them after the first or second incident you ask? Because they cleaned well which is the only reason for the two stars and wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves. These 2 ladies with minimum hassle where at my apartment within the hour, I pointed out some specific task I wanted them to concentrate on. Claudette was very pleasant, friendly, professional, and most importantly well worth the money. I was frantically searching for someone to clean a rental apartment and Claudette came to the rescue. I spoke to her around 8pm and she was at the apartment 4pm the next day. As for the actual cleaning; the apartment was spick and span once she was done. I do not believe my previous tenants ever cleaned the bathroom or kitchen since they moved in two years ago, and she worked her fingers to the bones to get it clean. I actually felt really bad as she was hired to clean and not perform magic, but she proved to be a true magician. I have been a client of Beba's Classic Cleaning Services for approximately 3 years. Customarily I am quite pleased with the level of service; unfortunately at a recent appointment the person sent to clean my place was less than stellar. Upon contacting Claudette (the owner) without hesitation her first question was "how can I make this right?" She offered to come by right away to clean my place herself but I had another appointment and wouldn't be home. We tried to coordinate for another day during the week but my availability/schedule was rather tight. Without my initiating and again without hesitation she then offered to refund me a portion of the cleaning fee. My initial rating in my previous review was a four/four and a half but due to Claudette's quick turn around in responding to my complaint, her attempts to make things right, and her superior customer service I have to bump it up to a five. As a consumer premium customer service means the world to me; therefore, had I not previously used Beba's Classic Cleaning Services based solely on my recent experience with Claudette I would definitely have tried the service again. read more

Claudette is a miracle worker! She's also super friendly and kind and a cleaning genius, I called her and we scheduled a time for her to come clean my 1br this past weekend. She came in and gave me a ballpark of the time it would take and a really reasonable rate. She used some of my cleaning supplies and brought some of her own. My apartment has never been so clean! I'm not a messy person, but when I came back after the agreed on time, she mentioned that she'd cleaned under my sofa and under my bed. My bed is large, heavy, and close to the ground- I had to ask her how she even managed to get under there! Initially Claudette did a wonderful job cleaning our buildings hallways and stairwells. Whereas Claudette is flexible with her dates / times to come clean, that seems to be the extent of her putting the customers satisfaction first. Additionally, as we continued to utilize Claudette's services, the quality of the cleaning became intermittent at best. When she arrives to the job on time and with no attitude, and a willingness to work, the level of cleaning is second to none. Regretfully, that commitment to doing a great job was too inconsistent for what we were looking for, so we needed to terminate her services. They don't take any shortcuts. Rugs are lifted and vacuumed underneath, every hidden corner gets hand-dusted, and they pay lots of attention to detail. We hired Beba's Cleaning for 2 of our offices in Park Slope a few months ago. We used to use another cleaning service that did a very poor job and we no longer could justify continuing with them. After 5 months I have nothing but good things to report about Claudette and her crew. She is reliable and professional. Claudette's cleaning service did an excellent job deep cleaning my stove and oven and were extremely accommodating, coming to my place on the same day I called them and doing a thorough job. I was in a bit of a bind, needing the cleaning to be done quickly due to a dispute I was having with AirBNB where a guest spilled food and burnt it onto the bottom of the oven, and I needed to provide AirBNB with a receipt for cleaning to be reimbursed. Claudette provided the receipt in a timely manner and I was able to work it out with AirBNB so she was really a lifesaver.
