Had the "fortune" so to speak, to have to use this wrecker for emergency services. My sister lost her keys & there started the trouble. Calling roadside assistance was a chore, but that's another review. Without keys, we were told "specialized equipment" was needed to assist. And then to the rescue this wrecker was dispatched. The dispatcher on his first communication to me was to say they DIDNT WANT TO TOW BECAUSE... It mattered not what their reason was, but the fact that I was in need & time was not on our side, it was on the brink of 9p... So I insisted they come out & we would bare the burden of the responsibility that they warned against. My issue is, roadside assistance located them and the time to refuse WAS THEN!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks be to God, the driver of the Rock & Roll wrecker was the Lord loving Logan!!!! Yes ma'am, no ma'am were his answers; what a god-send he was. Long & short: I won't use them again, idk what the dispatcher's issue was, but in the time of need, the bevy of excuses & beating around the bush convo he have me was unacceptable; but I'm grateful the Lord sent an angel in the form of Logan. Chevy road side assistance sent this company out to get my truck that had broken down. The tow truck driver crashed my truck into a mailbox damaging the whole drivers side of my vehicle. After that the tow truck driver didn't want to stop the truck for me to look at the damages. I yelled at him to stop the truck and he finally did. Then the owner of the company wanted to bribe me with money over the phone so I didn't call the cops. AFTER I declined his offer he got very nasty on the phone. The driver are incompetent of operating a tow truck. They are getting one star only cause i have to put a rating. They really get minus 100 stars for damaging my truck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! read more

My roadside assistance service called Rock & Roll Wrecker to come give me a hand when my car battery died. Bernard came out and was super friendly, helpful and patient with my hard-to-deal-with VW Beetle. Mind you this was all going down on a busy street in the French Quarter with massive construction and he was driving a GIANT wrecker, I know it had to be super stressful for him but he couldn't have been nicer. I will also add that the dispatch lady who called me was extremely friendly and polite. Great customer service -- it's a dying art form and these guys really keep it alive. Kudos. read more

My husband got into an accident on the i10 spillway bridge at 530am. His car was facing oncoming traffic when I arrived to help him and call a tow service. I was freaked out and almost hysterical when I called rock & roll. The dispatcher was friendly and helped keep me calm asked if we needed any medical attention etc. she told me it would take about 20-30 minutes to get to me but she kept calling to give me updates as to where the driver was and when he would arrive. The truck driver was great, talked with me and my husband and helped lighten the mood. The price I paid was a lot less than expected. All in all it was about a 40+ mile trip (the nearest turnaround exit was 20 miles to Laplace) and we paid exactly what was quoted over the phone. This was the best experience I have had with a tow service and I will be keeping their number on hand to recommend! read more

This is the rudest company I have ever experienced. They were called by my insurance company's roadside assistance program and I was told they would charge me $15 in addition. When a representative from the company called back to say they were on way she said they would be $25 out of pocket. No big deal, but I said my company said $15, she said then we will cancel. Just like that. I guess the $10 is worth everything I can do to negatively review this company. read more

This morning I was verbal assaulted by an employee of this company. I was not a customer of this company, I was just trying to pull into my driveway. I arrived home to grab something I had forgotten before going to work and the tow truck was idling blocking my driveway. They were not picking up a car at the time so moving shouldn't have been an issue. It was apparently an issue for the man who was not in the truck. They moved only so much that I had access to half of my driveway. When I was leaving I asked if they could move more so I didn't have to roll over the grass to get out of my driveway. I was then called a "dipshit" and told that "you have problems little girl". I am 30 years old and I was dress in a suit for work. In no way did I look unprofessional and I was only asking for them to move for me to use my driveway while they were not in the process of picking up any car. The car that they were picking up was in front of the truck hood to hood with the tow truck. I feel that this verbal abuse was uncalled for and very unprofessional of this company and employee. If they treat people like this who knows how they treat their actual customers. read more
