They tried to get me on that one. There was a tiny nickel to dime size discoloration that is really hard to notice unless you blow up the photo 100 times, I did not even know what they were talking about. This definitely has nothing to do with a defective, sagging mattress. I will never buy from them again and I hope others read this and stay away from this company. No integrity! Let's be realistic -- after nearly a decade of normal use, some minor discoloration is inevitable, even when the mattress has been properly protected. There were no stains from neglect or abuse, just slight cosmetic changes over time. To use that as a reason to void the warranty feels like a technical loophole rather than a fair evaluation. A warranty should give customers confidence in a product's durability. Instead, this experience left me feeling like the warranty is designed more to protect the company than the customer. I expected better customer support and more reasonable consideration after being a paying customer for almost 9 years. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage others to carefully review the fine print before assuming the warranty will actually protect you. Very disappointing.

Filed the claim online. They wanted photos. Then the next day, they wanted more photos. The next next day, they wanted some more photos... Within a day, they denied the claim. I suggested paying a fee they advertise of $79 to have it looked at by a professional. Didn't matter, it was still declined. After online research, I found MATTRESS FIRM did little to honor their warranties. Several people said they had to 'Small Claims' the case and let a court decide. In any event, I highly suggest you look elsewhere when shopping for a mattress. Costco will always beat out pricing and not have the so-called Labor Day or Memorial Day bargain sales. Plus Costco has a stunning return policy. Avoid MATTRESS FIRM or be prepared to take a very expensive financial hit possibly if you get a bad bed.

My wife and I bought a refrigerator, washing machine and dryer from this location. Couple days…read moreafter our appliances were delivered our refrigerator started making a loud knocking noise periodically throughout the day. I immediately called up RC Willeys customer service to get it fixed or replaced. The lady who I spoke to was going to just have a new one delivered to swap it them out. That was until their technician got involved. I was then told the soonest he could make it out was a week from when I called in. It was an agonizing week listening to it knocking every 1-2 hours. When their technician guys came out they easily fixed the problem and explained sometimes when the guys in the warehouse load them that their dollyies for loading them bend this metal tab pushing it into the back fan of the refrigerator. Simple as that. Here's where it went wrong, upon pushing our refrigerator back into its place the compression fitting for the water popped off the back and started spraying water all over the place. One of the guys was very considerate and tried to help as much as he could but it was the the other technician who threw his hands up saying we needed to contact a plumber and that it wasn't their fault. Wtf?! Funny how it worked fine before you moved it. Upon closer inspection I now know what they did. Rather than disconnecting the water to service the back of the fridge, they kept it hooked up and by doing so pulled the water line so tight it stripped the compression fitting. They basically turned the water off to our entire house and left us in this condition. Would I buy something from them again... hell no! Just for the unprofessionalism displayed by the technician they employ.

After the delivery, the next day, we couldn't get one of the controls on the remote to work. My wife called and found out that the newer unit had been upgraded and neither could figure it out. Jason was amazing. Excellent customer service! I enjoyed his laid back approach just giving a few recommendations here and there but really just leaving it to us letting us try and see. We went to Mattress Firm first and they felt pushy, overbearing, and really trying hard to get us to buy whatever they could. We learned Matthews Mattress is local and started by the Matthews family back in 1991. Great to know we're supporting local and Jason was able to give us a great deal! Our mattress even arrived a week earlier than expected. Their own delivery staff was great. They removed our old king mattress and bunkie board with ease and quickly replaced it with our new box spring and mattress.
