Everything seemed super smooth sailing. We were told by 3 different people throughout the store that the CareFree package they offer is $375 and you get that money back in store credit if you don't utilize the services after 5 years. They allow up to 48 hours before delivery to make any adjustments to your order which is great. However, if you need assistance you have to talk to a customer service line and there's no store number. We went in to the store after attempting to talk to customer service and found out that the person we spoke to on the phone cancelled our order. We were told that one of the pieces in our order was on backorder and wouldn't be available for two months and they couldn't reserve any of the pieces until they made it to the warehouse. However, the sales manager made a comment that some of those pieces might already be promised to other orders, which is slightly confusing since we were told the pieces couldn't be reserved. After looking at both receipts, we noticed that the total for the carefree package was different and not $375, which was initially promised in store by several people. We then went back into the store to ask questions and were told that the carefree package is actually 15% of your purchase and not a flat fee of $375. We were also told that if you do not use the service within the five years, you don't automatically get that money back in store credit. You have to spend double of what the credit is before being awarded the store credit. For example, if the 15% comes out to $300, you have to spend $600 in store in order to activate the $300. None of this was told to us when we bought the couch .We wanted to go home and measure our living room before buying the couch to make sure it fit, however the man we dealt with pressured us into buying it by saying "just order it now and you have 48 hours to make changes to the order". There is a lot of fine print that they do not explain to you. If there's anything you get out of this, let it be that you make sure you ask questions about what the fine print is before they take your money! Remember, they care about making the sale, not about customer service and a quality experience.

Plenty of sales associates floating around, ready to assist, and answer any questions we had. They also had measuring tapes in case you didnt have your own to determine if it might fit your space. A very nice kids playzone is on site if you have small kids for them to climb around and be occupied ! All of the sales people were friendly, without any high pressure tactics and the prices and sales seemed well within reason.

There is also a Fine Jewelery section which you typically do not find at a busines like this. Setup like a department store... you may view the jewelry items under glass. Value? Well, the things I am typically looking for are artificial plants like a cactus for my patio or for an indoor area I am trying to refresh. They are extremely reasonable as opposed to Target or Home Goods. From reading the reviews, customers have found some nice items. She's also quite skilled with interior design software and putting together computer-generated layouts of how she envisions her designs in your home. I found that to be extremely helpful. And lastly, she has a great personality, is easy to work with, has a good sense of humor, has an enormous amount of energy so she keeps your projects moving right along, and is prompt with replies to questions sent to her by email, text, or phone. My wife and I were also extremely impressed with one of Ethan Allen's "white glove" delivery teams that was comprised of Hugo and Kenneth. We've had Hugo and Kenneth make multiple deliveries to our house, sometimes with large items like rugs, headboards, oversized chairs, or end tables. Hugo and Kenneth always put booties on over their shoes before entering the house, were careful when navigating narrow hallways with large items, and were careful with our hardwood floors when putting items into place. On future orders (and with my wife as happy as she is with what she's ordered thus far from Ethan Allen I'm sure there will be more), We will be sure to ask for Hugo and Kenneth by name to be the ones to deliver the items.

This is my first time writing a review on Yelp and I decided to do so because the experience I had at this Sleep Train location was absolutely horrendous. It is my first time buying a mattress set and this was the second location I had been to. The other one was the mattress discounters location across the street which I went to ten minutes earlier. I have to say, never have I ever received such rude and unhelpful customer service IN MY LIFE. I entered into the store to look around and get an idea of what type of mattress would be best for me. Not knowing where to start, I asked the sales rep at the desk for some assistance. I am a college student and so I asked to look at the twin XL beds that they had in stock. The first one I was shown was around 600$. I asked to see if they had anything cheaper (I am a college student and wanted to weigh my options!). Everytime I asked a question such as "is this bed currently in stock here?" the sales rep would make a snobbish face and proceed to her computer to check..making it seem as if I was asking her to do a favor for me that she didn't have time for. I was literally the only customer at the location. I never saw a smile on her face, and she acted as if I was wasting her time. I may not have been in there to buy a $2,000 mattress, but a customer is a customer, and regardless of how much they are planning on spending, they should all receive the same civil and courteous treatment. Because this was my first time buying a bed and this was only the second mattress store I had been to, I decided I would go look at what some others had to offer and be back within an hour or two if I decided to make my purchase here. When I told the sales rep thank you for showing me the beds and that I would be back in an hour if I wanted to finalize the sale, she looked at me as if I had committed a crime for not committing to buy a bed with them, and proceeded to tell me I was wasting my time looking anywhere else. (Right before this at the mattress discounters across the street, the sales rep acted the complete opposite and told me with a smile that that would be no problem, and to contact him if I needed anything else. STARK contrast to the way I was treated at this Sleep Train!!) I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. My business will go to some place that KNOWS HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT. Our experience with Sleep Train Mattress Center in Rocklin couldn't have been better. My husband and I were in the market for a king size mattress. A friend referred us to Sean Beahm at Sleep Train in Rocklin. Upon our arrival Sean and the other associates were very welcoming and helpful. Sean listened as we described what we thought we wanted in a mattress. He showed us several options that fit what we'd described and a few other options as well. With his guidance we made a selection that pleased both my husband and myself. Sean put together a very nice package for us and we were out the door in a timely manner. I should also mention my two young children were along for the shopping experience. I think they tried out ALL of the beds, the associates were all very kind to my children. The next day I had a change of heart and decided to switch from a Cal King to an Eastern King. I called Sleep Train and spoke with Sean, he confirmed an Eastern King was in stock and the switch was made, no problem. The next morning the delivery arrived on schedule. The delivery men were very professional, polite and speedy in setting up our new bed. Not to mention, that same day we received a hand written thank you note from Sean for our purchase. My husband and I were in the market to buy our first mattress. I just had a baby and as a side sleeper my hips have been killing me on our old hand-me-down mattress. My husband just got his yearly bonus and decided to put it towards a new bed. Having lived in Sacramento forever you can't listen to the radio without hearing sleep train being advertised. We walked in and was greeted by Bill, who was absolutely fantastic. Bill asked us what our price range was then had my husband and I lay on three different beds to test our comfort level. He then showed us a few beds, but told us not to look at the prices. His reason being for us just concentrate on what felt the best so we were not swayed by price. He assured us that he would take care of us. After trying a few beds, my husband and I both found THE ONE and I also fell in LOVE with a pillow. Bill kept his word, worked his magic, and the mattress, mattress cover, pillow, and same day delivery were within $100 of our budget. (keep in mind our price range,was only for the mattress itself) Bill was friendly, professional, did not make us feel pressured into buying same day, and gave us a great deal WITHOUT us having to ask him to. Hillary, Hillary, Hillary! You made our experience exceptional! My husband and I chose to shop the nearby Five Star Blvd. location for a mattress. We had no idea what we wanted or liked so we were worried that this purchase would be difficult. Well that was not the case at all! Hillary greeted us right away and began the experience by listening and creating what I would say was the closest thing to being in the comfort of our home as possible. We never felt rushed and we never felt like we were being "sold" on something that wasn't a match for our personal needs. Hillary guided us through a selection of mattresses that flowed so well, making it easy to decide. We are happy with the special financing offered and we are happy with the pillow and sheet set that Hillary threw in along with our Temperpedic mattress. Just purchased a $1300 mattress from Mike at Sleep Train Rocklin. After about a week the bed sagged, and apparantly had some issue with the inner coils from the way it had been stored. I contacted my salesperson Mike, who was amazingly professional in understanding our issue and rather than the traditional response, mike simply said let me work on it. He called me back within 2 hours and told me that a brand new mattress would be delivered the next day at no additional charge. Its now 24 hours later and my new bed is here, does not appear to have the internal problem and I am very happy. This is a company that considers its customer satisfaction seriously, and I highly recommend Mike in Rocklin if you want a true professional bedding consultant. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. Kyle was very knowledgeable and made me feel good about my choice. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive mattress in the store, he actually listened to what I liked and what I didn't like. I was going out of town the next day so I didn't get next day delivery, but Art and his crew were here this morning exactly when they said they would be. I went in and bought a bed...the sales person, Joe was very helpful and helped educate me with my needs....I usually NEVER buy first thing but did because they had the price match gaurantee....went home and found the same bed online for less...rehearsed my lines all the way there as to why they needed to honor the price.....the store manager Sean didn't bat an eye! It was super convenient, not even five minutes from my house! We were the only customers when we came. I mean, mattress shopping has to be my least favorite pastime. Rick was our sales guy. He didn't really have much to do as far as sell. We knew what we wanted, we were a pretty easy sale. We wanted an adjustable queen size bed. We picked out a bed, picked frame, picked mattress cover, and sheets. We are converting our office downstairs to a bedroom and the Queen was perfect. After we set up financing, Rick set up delivery for Sunday, five days away. He told us the delivery people would call the day before. That day came and they said it was on order and maybe Tuesday? Monday came and they called and said maybe Thursday? Well, at first Rick said they were waiting for the frame, then a female sales lady said they were waiting for the mattress? It was so frustrating, I couldn't get a definite answer? After waiting patiently for almost two weeks, we had enough! We told them to forget the sale and we cancelled! We actually found an even better bed thru Amazon! Yeah it was disappointing experience, and we really would've been happy to support this franchise. But it felt as if they just wanted the quick sale and didn't want to be truthful in fear that we would just go somewhere else and we did. Now I'm having to warn others and to shop around.

One time they even gave our daughter coloring pencils and coloring pages so she could color while we talked about furniture pieces. Delivery was super careful and got notified of the delivery status along the way. We've had the pieces for almost a year and they are fragile with paint. Make sure to ask for the paint set that you can get in the mail. Enrolled in the annual membership and got an email that it would be renewed tomorrow. Don't find that we need to continue the membership so I emailed RH back and they emailed back on the same date that they'll cancel the annual membership and I wouldn't be charged.
