I really would like to leave a better review because the work that was done is good. That being said, there are a couple of issues we'd like resolved. It's not due to the workmanship, but when he left we paid him in full without the work being completed. Just minor things really, such as unfinished caulking, some touchup paint he promised to leave, and the sink faucet did loosen up since he left. I could do all this myself, but it's his job. Not mine. My wife, so far has made no less than three attempts to contact him, but we have not gotten a call back. EDIT - About an hour after posting my review, Mo returned our call and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Work was satisfactorily completed. I'm increasing the rating from 3 stars to 4. I can't give a five because of the difficulty of getting him to return our calls after the work was paid for. read more

Having worked with Mo before and seeing the quality of his work i called him for an estimate for some water damage. Out A/C drain leaked and collapsed our ceiling and damaged out wall. His estimate was extremely fair and the work he and his crew did was incredible. My wife had just competed redecorating the room as her new office when the damage happened. We interviewed 5 different companies recommended by Homeadviser.com for the bathroom remodeling and felt uncomfortable to hire one of them due to overpricing, or long-time required for the project. Later, we had a chance to learn about "Rock Granit" https://rock-granite.com/ . We were very impressed with their work. Moises ("Mo") Piedra, was very helpful with his advice in regards to what kind of materials and faucet's devices we need to buy for installation of the shower with the glass doors. "Mo" took his time to listen to what we wanted and he offered their solutions to make our new shower beautiful, elegant and modern. He recommended us to install a new lighting mirror which makes all shower room assembly beautiful. The Rock Granit's team was coming to our house according to schedule, and it has never happened that they would be late. The demo of the existing old-fashion tube took one day followed by the ideal cleaning of the area of demolition. The tiling of the walls and installation of the shower units and glass doors went without any problems. "Mo" is a person of his word: they finished the project in the frame of time that was promised at the beginning of the project. Moreover, if we had a disagreement on small details, they corrected them immediately. With great pleasure, I will invite this company for further remodeling/renovation in our house. Our home had a slab leak on April 9th, 2019. The damage was concentrated in the kitchen with residual damage to the formal dining room. Naturally, we called general contractors seeking estimates. To make a long story short, not a single contractor came through for us and by late May I was fed up with living without dry wall, without an oven, doing the dishes while squatting on the floor, the contents of the kitchen cabinets strewn everywhere...well, you get the picture. Then I found Mo at Rock Granite. He came over on a SUNDAY and gave us an estimate. You gotta see what he did to our home! It looks totally amazing now. My kitchen looks like it came out of Sunset Magazine. It was finished when he said it would be, it cost what he said it would cost (Ok, so a little less, but don't tell him!), and his crew was a pleasure to have in my home. What more can I say? We have a mid 50's built home with plaster walls. One of our bathrooms was suffering from severe water damage. Called Rock Granite, Mo came out and gave us an estimate. We selected him, he came out again with tile samples, we selected want we wanted. Most importantly, we had a 10 day window for the remodel and it fitted nicely with Mo's schedule. He started on a Monday, all the demo work was done including removing the old tub that day, Tuesday, did forming, the cement for the shower floor. Wednesday, the hot tar mop. Thursday, started the tile work and finished Saturday. Everyday, the crew showed up on time, they were polite and no down time. Would I recommend Rock Granite, YES! Couldn't be more pleased with how the bathroom remodels came out they look great. I did extensive research on bathroom remodels. After4 quotes and dealing with different contractors I decided to go with Rock Granite. Price wise they were very competitive however, Mo gave me great ideals and was more knowledgeable than the others. Also I check the companies review and saw how great the reviews were. They completely remodeled both bathrooms and replaced all plumbing. Mo was fantastic, great communication worked with the crew from start to finish. The crew was extremely experienced and professional and completed all projects on time and cleaned up upon completion of each project. Mo's team worked on my house July 2019. They put in new wood-look tiles, repainted our kitchen cabinets, changed out our formica countertops for granite, and added a backsplash. They also redid the tiles around our fireplace. The quality was good overall. We had a couple hiccups, but Mo did his best to resolve the issues with us. His team was pleasant and kind. They always took our input and made sure we were pleased with their work. The remaining problem we had was with the carpet areas where they cut (by the bedroom entrances); these areas kept lifting after the tiles were installed. The guys came out a couple times last year to try to fix it, but frankly I don't think they had the proper tools. They really needed a knee kicker/carpet stretcher. The issue has persisted to this day, and I contacted Mo asking if he could send someone out to repair, and I was willing to pay. Mo said there would be no cost, and he was going to send someone to come out the next day and would confirm the time with me in the morning. I contacted him the morning on the day of, and there was no response. And nobody showed up either. I was so bummed because I trusted this business. We are moving to a new house in a few months, and I wanted to hire them on to install our floors and tiles for our new house, but I don't feel confident--nor do I think they want the job. And if something goes wrong, how will I know someone will actually come out and make the needed repairs? read more
