I have been a very loyal customer to this establishment over the past eight years I have lived in Redondo Beach. I have taken my and my spouse's cars, my two classic cars and my RV there regularly for cleaning and detail services. Up until recently, I would have given a great 4 or 5 star review. Sadly, things have changed. I am posting this so nobody else has to go through what I am going through. If you take your car to this car wash, ABSOLUTELY check the entire car for damage. After many years of great service there, I never thought to do this. Then, I brought my new Lincoln Nautilus there to be cleaned. When I went to pick up my car, I noticed that the person who cleaned it was not with my car. I was a bit time constrained, so I asked another employee who cleaned it so I could give him my tip. The man who cleaned it was on the other side, cleaning a car that just came out of the wash. The employee gave him my tip, and I went to my car, went home and parked it in my garage. Two days later, I took my car out of the garage to load some items in the trunk. When doing so, I noticed that the tires had not been shined. While looking down, I noticed a small but deep dent low down on my drivers door (please note that the photos do not show how deep the dent is). I am 6'4" so did not see it when I picked up the car from the car wash. Over those two days, my car was parked in my garage, without being used and no car or anything on the left that could have made such a deep dent. Now I know why my tires weren't shined and why the guy who cleaned it was far away from my car, and wouldn't even make eye contact when the other employee gave him my tip. He didn't finish the job and wanted to avoid me because he knew he dented my car. By the looks of the small but deep dent, it seems that he banged my door against the wash machine equipment or some other equipment, not another car. I tried to get a dent removal service to take it out and they cannot do it because it is at the seam of the door. Now, every time I go to my car, I can't help but notice the dent. I absolutely love my car, my most expensive and favorite car I have ever owned, yet I get sad each time I use my car seeing that dent. I will now have to take it to a body shop to repair, which I know will not be cheap, and doubt they will be able to match the special pearl tri-coat paint with the rest of the car. Needless to say, I have been washing my cars on my own and will not return. Very sad that one employee ruined a long business relationship. If he had just owned up to it instead of hiding, things would be much different. read more

Left hard water stains everywhere!!! And Broke my rear windshield wiper. After spending $99.99 plus $10 for the tip they ruined my car paint with their disgusting hard water stains!!!!!! And it won't go away with different products. Inside there's products sprayed and left everywhere whit-out complete wipe down, also their workers has Zero respect for someone's property wiping cloth/leather like it's some wood. Stay away period. This has been my go to car wash in the South Bay! Customer service is always good and quality of washes are consistent. Don't come as often since I don't live in the area anymore but when I did, bought the prepaid vocals package. Not sure when the price of their washes increased but compared to when I bought the package they have gone up. Glad they still honor the pre paid vouchers without paying any differences though despite the increase in price. read more

I don't know when it became so hard to find a decent car wash in the South Bay, but just moving to the area I was able to find rock n roll. Their options are simple and it's full hand wash. The people are friendly however it can be a bit of a wait. Expect to wait about an hour from start to finish. The prices are fair. You have a small shopping center next door with a Trader Joe's and Starbucks so you can take a small walk while your car is getting washed. Solid place. read more

Yea it's a hand wash but quality is super low. The guy cleaning the car must have used the same towel to clean and wipe the outside and the inside at the same time. He cleaned my infotainment screen inside the car but to my surprise the screen ended up having really bad scratches. Attaching photos to show. Now those scratches CANNNNOT be removed and I'm stuck with them and that's pretty much sad. I would definitely not trust my car with them anymore and definitely don't recommend for you to wash an expensive car here. I've gone here for 5 years for fast service, hands on car care inside and out. The staff is courteous and attentive always and they seem to always have enough staff on even when they're busy. I also like the visibility, that you can see the work being done as the cleaning process exterior to interior is completed. Today all that changed. I was encouraged to get a $99 thorough wash when pulling up, on sale for $85 for Fathers Day. My interior had a lot of sand and dog hair so I agreed. I usually get the basic $35 wash. How disappointing! After over 90 Minutes (half that time my car sat without anyone attending it) it was a mess. The exterior was about 80% cleaned (the wheel caps had dirt and windshield not wiped, bird shit still on trunk. But the interior was worse. the seats and dash and door panels were covered in a glistening oil that transferred to my clothes and hands upon touch. When i got home I showed my neighbor and he believes it's leather oil (my interior is vinyl). I had to use soapy hot water to clean this sticky oil off of the bucket seats and dash. I'm leaving the backseat for one day to see if it 'soaks in' or if I'll have to clean that up too. Also the trunk has just as much sand as before, not sure if they touched it. I gave this review 2 stars because the rugs are very clean and the employees are always courteous. I definitely feel ripped off though. I want my $85 back!! read more

Amazing customer service!!!! I've been going to Rock N Roll Car Wash for several years now. And my latest visit was exceptional. My car lease was up and I had to turn it in at a certain time that day. I asked the manager if he can rush and I also requested to wash only the driver's seat (there was a noticeable stain). I brought my car in at 10am and I was out the door by 10:30 am. It was so fast I had to check the entire car first to see if everything else was cleaned. I was shocked to see the entire car was spotless and the driver seat was washed. The only minor hiccup was the girl at the cash register. I'm not sure about car wash places but why do the people there at cash registers have sub par customer service??? This is the second car wash register attendant that seem to be overloaded with work and can't attend to me while literally I'm the only one standing there? Dirt still all over the floor mats, cup holders and console were not even wiped, windows were cleaned with a dirty rag leaving steaks everywhere, marks and spots all over body , etc. Worst car wash ever. I live up the street and have tried this place many times but this is the last time. You are better off at the drive though at Costco or a basic touch-less $12 gas station car wash. I've been here a few times now and it's a pretty good car wash. To be fair I only get the base car wash which is $23 so I'm not expecting my car to look like it was detailed. But the quality of the finished wash really depends on which guy you get at the end. I've had my car look fantastic and I've ended up with streaky windows and dusty arm rests. Unfortunately, I didn't see it until I had pulled out. I'm sure they would have fixed it if I had gone back but I didn't have time to do that. And I shouldn't have to. I usually go to Del Amo Car Wash, but I just moved back to N Redondo and wanted this to be my new car wash place since it's close. Sadly yesterday was my first and last time coming to Rock n Roll Car Wash. I got the basic #1 Vocals car wash for my SUV. This is a standard "Full Service Car Wash" that costs $22.99 plus extra for my SUV. So total was $25.99. No biggie! That's a great price, but sadly the job was less than mediocre. Almost like they didn't even do the inside... (See attached photos!) On their website, it says a full service car wash consists of "complete vacuuming of the interior, dusting of the inside dash, door panels, wiping of the center console, and all the windows throughly cleaned inside and out". But my car was not even half way vacuumed inside. Floor and seats had easy to vacuum crumbs still left. Back of SUV was never touched. The door panels were ever wiped down, neither was the center console... So I basically paid $25.99 (plus tip) for my car to go through an automatic drive through car wash, and get dried off... That's terrible. I could have paid $6 to do this somewhere else, and dried the outside myself. read more

They pay attention to details; (2) The staff is always friendly and personable; (3) love the "rock and roll" vibe with records and vintage memorabilia throughout; (4) they have the funniest and unique birthday/wedding/thank you/etc.. cards, and (5) they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I was in the Redondo Beach area last week and since I had a little extra time, I decided to get a much needed car wash. I stopped in at Rock N Roll Car Wash and received excellent service from Joshua and Yahir. These gentlemen were both professional - they answered my questions courteously and provided the "old school" customer service that is rare these days. In addition to great customer service, my car was excellently washed - no issues with water spots or missed areas. In fact, Rock N Roll Car Wash has a "point person" that oversees the car washing process and personally inspects each car before it is returned to the owner.
