Recently came in and got upsold to the $50 wash. They told me it would be a 45 minute situation. The interior looked like it was barely touched and the exterior had so many very obvious spots they brushed over. The car was done in less than 10 minutes and came out faster than some of the basic washes. This was incredibly frustrating as I was promised one thing and was completely scammed. I came back yesterday to give it a second chance and they completely missed the front of my car and left all the spots on the interior for me to clean. I always tip 30-40% but always am so so disappointed and feel taken advantage of. read more

It was my first time coming here and I was hoping for a full service car wash. I originally was going to do the Big Kahuna but ended doing the Longboard because it didn't seem that much different. Total was $34 ($32 base + $2 extra for SUV). I was there for less than 30 min but the lobby waiting area did not have any complimentary coffee or drinks like the board clearly mentioned, so I was a little disappointed in that. The overall wash of my car was okay, there were still some sap spots left and I could still see my fingerprints on the trunk of my car. My interior mats are not cloth so it looks like they avoided cleaning that but the debris was vacuumed up. In the future, I would probably be better off going to the Costco car wash and vacuuming the inside myself but maybe one day I'll give their detail services a try. read more

Returning to Redondo car wash after the renovation and much has changed. Here's the good and the areas for improvement: The Good - Quick and easy payment when you arrive. No receipts. -The detailers are superb and meticulous Areas of Improvement -Lacks the community feel. The new decor has changed a lot and it just looks like a haphazard set up. Elvis is now in the lobby? Shouldn't this be at the other Rock n Roll car wash that was under the same ownership? Seems like an odd add. -Atmosphere feels very transactional now whereas the previous manager, Omar was fantastic at making very one feel welcome (bring him back!) -Coffee bar has been removed which is disappointing. When my car went through the car wash it broke off my left side mirror and the employee drying my car didn't even notice. I freaked out and pointed it out and he said it's fine and kind of snapped it back together and said it's all fixed, while it isn't fixed!!! It's broken and I've had no response from management. read more

I typically don't leave very many reviews, but I have to say for $37, this was the worst car wash I've ever had. They hardly vacuumed the interior, I still found dust, dirt and crumbs everywhere. The service menu said interior wipe down, they did not wipe anything on the inside. When I asked about it, they said they only wipe the dash , so that's super misleading (and the dash was still dirty). I still have dirt specks on the exterior and the windshield still has marks and spots. Definitely do not waste your money here, very disappointing. read more

I just spent $60 on a car wash and wasted not satisfied with my purchase. Things were not done the inside wasn't wiped down I came into the car and had to wipe down myself. If I had time I would've came in to make a complaint. Never coming here again don't waste your time or money. read more

Sometimes when you know your car needs a wash and you happen to drive by a car wash, you just turn in and get it done. I usually give places second chances and update my reviews if I see any changes. My car was cleaned well but I felt that the interior part was not completely done to my liking. There were still dust particles on the dashboard and cup holders etc. The interior is always the hardest to find a place that thoroughly cleans the inside of the vehicle. I'm not disappointed but not 100% satisfied. At least the car got cleaned. read more

I've given this place many chances but every time is a disappointment. I've been here 5 times that I can recall and have gotten everything from the cheapest wash ($25) to the full detail ($300). How far the mighty has fallen... From a full service car washing service to a glorified self-drive through. That's what has happened after they came back online earlier last month (July '25) after being shut down for over 6 months since the beginning of the year. Speaking with a few of their on the ground reps it seems they had issues with their business licenses with the city which was fixed. But in the pursuit of super low prices (including the updated VIP packages) they seem to have forgotten what made people come here: the ambience and the people who worked there. I get it, labor costs are going up so you've got to make some cuts. But you've done it to such an extreme point that there's no reason for me to come back: - No more free amenities (free coffee, etc.) - No more vacuuming unless it's part of the higher tier packages (which takes labor and time, that was obviously cut) - Barebone VIP package (only drive-through for quick washes, but cheap if that's something you want). Haven't gone back after I checked them out after the early July opening and have looked elsewhere for the full service package from their competitors. Highly recommend you do the same - just pull up Google Maps and you'll find 2 reputable businesses near Hermosa and Manhattan. I hope you'll revert your decision. read more

Do you offer a senior discount? He quoted $27, I agreed. A woman came up behind me and asked for the price of a car wash, he quoted $26. Rip off employee! My car came out clean, was dried quickly, I tipped. My car was the only car using the car wash until the other womans car came through. Do not go to this place if you care at all about your car. I took my Lexus in for a hand wash (Longboard so including sealant wax) and brought it back a couple hours later when I noticed there were leftover stubborn sap spots all over the hood. They ushered me through the side for "another wash" without telling me what was going on. Too late I realized my brand new 60k Lexus was about to go through a very rough touch wash. I was beside myself. I wouldn't even put my 7 year old Camry in one of those awful things! It's well known they ruin the clear coat and leave microscratches. To add insult to injury, soap scum was leftover along with water spots. And of course the sap spots did not budge a bit. We purchased car wax passes on a special deal from the old owners which are to be honored until 12/31/25. Passes clearly state WAX on them The elder attendant of seniority gives us a hard time redeeming them stating they made a mistake and it is only good for a wash. He walks me to the terminal where it says we paid $65 per ticket. Totally NOT a honourable establishment and senior attendant is NOT aware of business practices in America. Of course no one around to execute a resolution. So we feel bullied. It's a shame we live a two blocks a way and have been going there since it opened. After their so called renovations, this place skydived into a garbage establishment. It might as well be a Shell Gas Station drive through wash. I used to come here and buy the hand wash packets upward of $650 and I loved it. Great management before and great staff. Now, it's a joke. Terrible value now and it's dead inside. High school staff and abysmal car wash quality. It's kids shaking an air compressor and barely cleaning your car. I redeemed the last of my hand wash cards and never coming back. It's such a shame that this happened because it used to be a great spot and convenient. Time to invest and support mobile detailers. That's where the future is for car washes and details. Redondo Car Wash was closed for several months for remodeling. I'm happy they are open now and really like the new wash options. Now I can stay in my car, roll through, and just get the outside cleaned at about half of what a wash cost before, and at other car washes in the area. My car is clean and I save money. This place used to be stellar. They closed and reopened. The process is different which is no problem. That said they do a crap job washing the car. 37 bucks the inside was still so so the outside was horrible. We live near the beach so you get bird crap. Apparently that's not a problem for them to leave. Also they could have cared less when I pointed it out and they didn't do one wheel with the tire shine. They also took out the chairs in the front and all of the vending and cashier in the front. Now you pay when you go in. This place is amazing. I came in an hour after a car wash failed to actually clean the inside my car. They proceeded to not only give me a discount and apologize for the other place, they also gave me a free car wash for my next visit AND 5 more coupons for $5 off my next visits. The manager went above and beyond that I am not only going to come here but also tell everyone to go here. They also not only "just vacuum" (like the other place said) they got all the dog hair out of my car, they cleaned up every ounce of dirt from my dog. It feels like my car is brand new. I took my car in to get washed because I had someone buying it from me this past Friday. Afterwords I noticed multiple cracks on my windshield. They all had 2 marks about an inch apart. I showed the manager on duty and he told me that it could have happened before. I know with 100 % certainty that those cracks were not there before I pulled in because I was washing it in my driveway when the buyer called and said he was coming to look at it in an hour. The manager told me to come back on Monday when the owner is there. Well the guy didn't buy my car and I don't blame him. Not with a cracked windshield. Let's hope they do the right thing on Monday and offer to fix my windshield. Update: the manager said that they couldn't see if there was a crack on my windshield with there cameras because my car was dirty. HELLO, every car that comes in is dirty. They cracked my windshield and I can't even get a manager to talk to me. I'm never using this place again. read more
