Went here with my partner, we wanted matching tattoos '831' on our hands. I have MUTLIPLE hand tattoos, I have friends that have their own shops back in the 757. NEVER have I ever had a tattoo IN MY LIFE that didn't stick. By day 2 it wasnt even dark. I reached out to Shaun 4 days later explaining it didn't stay and got no reply. After $120 for a tattoo that was 3 numbers and speaking to other artists that I am close with, they informed me he didn't stick me hard enough. Basically just a scratch at this point. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality, the communication as a whole, just is not worth the time or money. I've attached my partners and my tattoo. We got our daughter's ears pierced today at Rock N Roll Tattoo. It was her ninth birthday and she was so excited about getting her ears pierced for the first time. We decided that a tattoo parlor was the best option. We couldn't have been more excited to have Sheawn as the piercer for our daughter. He was absolutely amazing. Normally I reserve my Yelp reviews strictly to my food experiences and the food industry. However, on the rare occasion that a business proves exceptional, I will Yelp. Prior to coming to rock n roll, my sister and I visited another piercing business and continued going(don't ask why) to be disappointed, infected, irritated, and just clearly had botched work. We came here on a whim because she had a Tragus piercing she wanted removed. A keloid surfaced and was irritating her ear. We went to get it removed and the piercer at rock n roll salvaged the piercing, removed the previous earring, replaced it, and provided us with a care plan to clean and take care of it. Let me also mention that with all of that and we were only charged $10. We were mind blown by the service. He knew what he was doing, he was kind, so clearly validated that the piercing was botched, and still managed to salvage it. We came in to get it removed and left with new jewelry that felt so much better. The work was clean and they didn't try to sell us products we didn't need. Rather wrote down what we needed and helped us in the best way. So so impressed and so happy at how it all turned out. I just got my nipple piercings done by Tyler and even my friend who already had gotten her done by someone else complimented how steady his hand was! I was super nervous but he made the entire process as relatively painless and stress free as possible. They are also the cheapest place for nipple piercings in Raleigh that I have found! That was until it was 7:20 (our appointment time was 6:30) and they started taking walk in's and not tending to us. Other than that service was wonderful and the staff was such sweethearts. Kensley did our piercings today and did a wonderful job. They were super sweet and were super reassuring about everything in the whole process. The guy was nice, I just don't understand how you can f*ck up two Xs. They were supposed to be symmetrical, and the stencil he used was way thinner than the blocky final product. Sucks to cover with a patch right after getting it done and then seeing how bad the job was done later when you take the patch off. I'm getting it fixed- definitely going somewhere else. I came in yesterday as a walk-in to get my nose pierced. We were immediately greeted by the two lovely humans working with a polite attitude. I walked in very last minute(around 9:30ish) on a whim to get my cartilage pierced($30-not bad at all). Jimmy was so nice and helpful, he talked me through the whole thing and throughly explained how I should care for my piercing, and helped me to figure out what exactly I'm allergic to for earrings and guided me on what metals to buy/not buy. As she was getting her area prepped, there two girls up front sitting at the desk and one of them went on and on about her friend and how he sent her D*@k pics and which I thought was very very unprofessional for a business and even more so that my 13 year old was standing there and listening to the entire conversation due to not having anywhere else to go? Amanda was a good piercer for my cartilage. BUT DO NOT LET KAT LAY A FINGER ON YOU. On monday i had gotten my naval pierced and a change of jewellery in my cartilage. My naval piercing is about 10° crooked (very noticeable)probably since she let it FALL OUT AND PUT IT BACK IN. Also my cartilage piercing was bleeding after she tugged and pushed on it for 5-10 minutes trying to change the jewellery. Keep in mind she has chosen the wrong size of jewellery, Amanda got the piece Kat was struggling with in, in less than 30 seconds, and my ear was pouring out blood even though i've had it for a year!! I'm furious!!!! She even looked high I'm going to keep pushing my piercing and hopefully it will heal properly. Or i'm going to have to take my piercing out (which i've been waiting to get for YEARS) and let it heal then get it again and risk having it reject! A waist of $55, and my time. DONT LET KAT AT THE SHOP OFF OF GLENWOOD TOUCH YOU!!!!!!!!!! ITLL BE A GRAVE MISTAKE! Update: I spoke with Amanda and she was very helpful. She sent pictures to the head piercer, and took it out for me. Got a couple tattoos from Kyle earlier, he went extra deep on the tats, his line work isn't the best, he didn't shave the hairs off of my body before he tattooed me, he also didn't clean one of the areas where i got tattooed. he just didn't seem like a very clean tattoo artist and he didn't seem to really care about what he was doing. he also didn't put any type of bandages on my tattoos nor did he tell me about any type of aftercare whatsoever. i wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. Not sure why the reviews on this place are so high. Oh and not to mention he definitely wasn't the most friendly guy so he made me feel pretty uncomfortable. Just an honest review. read more

I had my tongue pierced at Warlocks. I would not recommend that tattoo place. They are over priced and both times I've been there they were extremely rude and unhelpful. Tonight I showed up at Rock N Roll at 10 pm. My tongue ring had fallen out and my tongue had closed in less than a hour. The piercer had to repierce the bottom half of my tongue. He was incredibly helpful. He didn't charge me anything to do this. He took the time to explain basic care, which is something the piercer at Warlocks did not do. In fact, he said he sent me an aftercare email... He did, but the entire message was blank. Regardless... I've been to Warlocks 2x, I would describe the atmosphere as clean, bright and very presentable. However, the employees are rude and very blatantly do not care. I've been to RNR once... It had a great atmosphere and the people there are incredibly helpful and kind. They don't act like you just asked them to donate a kidney when you ask them relevant questions. Basically I will never be going back to Warlocks and will be recommending RNR to everyone who asks. read more
