Best nail salon in the area by far. I've been bouncing around local salons for the past 10+ years and have not been completely happy with any until Rock nails opened. Not only do they do a great job on manicures and pedicures, the salon is super clean and with a beautiful interior. The staff are all very friendly and professional. They have tons of colors to choose from in powder, gel and regular polish and also do great nail art that isn't over priced. Liz is absolutely amazing. She just did my nails and I had a fabulous experience. I've been a customer for two years and they are sky rocketing on prices. There are two massagers and one is phenomenal and the new one basically just rubbed his elbow on my back for 10 minutes. I was more uncomfortable than enjoying a massage, the massage from the chair was better. It's frustrating that they are expanding and from what went from more expense and always a great job and experience is now them penny pinching in any way they can to charge you more and hiring more staff that aren't great. They also have made me get a "full set" multiple times and didn't even put fresh tips on walking out with shorter nails with a "new full set". The nail artists are wonderful, and today was my first visit with Liz and she did the best job I ever had and when I complained about the more expense they made her feel back like she did something wrong which is what I dislike most. They're charging more to make more money but they're going to loose their loyal customers. read more

I got my brows done here about 2 weeks ago. They came out GREAT. Charged me 10$..reasonable. So I decided to come back for my nails. When I first called they said it was $55. I got charged $65. They turned out GREAT so I didn't say anything. Decided to go back today for my brows again. They charged me $12. They do a great job here don't get me wrong, but they make up prices. I asked the man why and he didnt know what to say so he picked up the phone. It's unfortunate because they do a good job but making up prices is poor business. Just did a regular pedicure and it was great, would love a longer massage, but they clearly state it's a 5 min massage so I can't really complain. The salon is super clean, great color selection. I'll be back! read more

I really wanted to like it. It was so clean. So bright. All the tools used are in sealed bags. I was able to walk in with no appointment for a pedicure. That's where the heavy upsale began. Starting with what type of nail polish you pick. They have a ton of more expensive options of gel polish and a much smaller to the corner regular ones. Then I asked for the spa pedicure to be told that another one, a more expensive one was better. Yet, the tech could not really explain to me why it was better other than "It's better." I said no and we began. He was much too rough and rushed during the cuticle pushing back and trimming. He clipped three of my toe nails before he stopped and ask "Oh, is okay to cut or do you want just file?" Well kind of late now. He did well with the foot scrub and just as I was enjoying the foot massage he asked about getting a manicure. I said no as that's all I needed/wanted. My tip to you nail techs, we get pedicures mostly for the foot rub. Please don't keep asking us what else we need during it. While I like the lotion and the masks he uses, he applied way too much. My feet were slipping in my flip flops. Then he just scooted out of there pointing to a drying station. The drying station that does not dry. Just a light bulb that goes on. No fan blowing. It's also uncomfortable to sit at. You're perched on bar stools and have to pick your feet up to slide them into station. It just felt weird. I got up after a minute and just made sure to blast the AC in my car on my feet. The offered me a stamp loyalty card, which after 10 stamps, you get a pedicure. A nice feature. With all the nail places in the area though, I don't think I'll be back. It's very overpriced for a lot of stuff you don't need in a pedicure. read more

Beautiful salon and very clean. I came in a recommendation and wanted to love it but I will definitely not be back. Starting with my pedicure..Not 5 minutes in the tech began trying to sell me on pedicure features for $10 extra, I declined and the quality of my pedicure faded quickly. Nail polish began chipping within 2 days. Manicure was awful, the tech would put too much attention on one hand and not give the same attention to the other...unsure if she just forgot but it was bizarre. All of my nails were completely uneven and you can see through the gel polish. I tried to mention to the tech but she chose to ignore me. read more

The place is extremely clean and modern. Nice polish selection. I was unimpressed by the quick yet pricey basic pedicure. I have gotten a lot nicer/more relaxing ones for cheaper at places nearby. Also, they didn't have a real drier to dry my toes? (Just the spray stuff) So I had to sit there for a long time and wait for them to dry.. read more

Just got a pedicure and first time dip powder manicure. I was really pleased with all the services I received. The pedicure was great and relaxing--I like that there are add ons if you wanted. Very glad I gave this place a second chance. I wasn't looking for any free services, but the business owner reached out to me on yelp which was a very nice gesture. I decided to give it another shot because it's such a great, clean location and I want to love it. I came back at Christmas time to get my nails done for the holidays. This time the manicure lasted until the growth was too much to take. I came back today and they did an even nicer job with my nails. I also got a complimentary massage from their massage therapist. It was fantastic! I opted to do the 10 minute chair massage for $10. I'd do that every day of the week the massage was incredible. Glad to see this place turned things around. I had an amazing experience with Lisa. She's very kind and makes you feel comfortable. I had gotten an acrylic removal and full set with a male nail tech. He took the nail machine to take off my cuticles, and two of my fingers where bleeding due to him cutting my cuticles with the machine. It was very painful. I asked for coffin but I got more of a square shape. The nail polish over lapped the top and makes it look round and not a sharp coffin Shape. It's been 3 weeks and there's no lifting. Application is great but polish application is not. read more

I think this place could really shine but they need to stop worrying about getting in so many people and charging for so many things that normal nail salons wouldn't. I've gone here twice my first experience wasn't great my nails didn't turn out how I would have hoped and I was completely over charged. I decided to try again made an appointment and come in early and waited for 30min after my scheduled time. I would have to wait another 10-15min and so I left. I see so many great nail art from them and I was really hoping for a great experience this time. They were nice but can't say I'll be trying this place again read more

I really wanted to love this place; it's decorated beautifully, clean, everyone is very nice and they give a nice neck massage and a good pedi but sadly, I don't think I can return after my experience last night. I have gotten a pedi and fill 3 times: the first fill was ok, a bit thick on the gel but not too bad, the second time was ok; you could see the uneven product/bumpy edges on the gel fill as it grew out and the third, yesterday, was not good at all; my fingers and cuticles are killing me today because they were cut up by the nipper and drill, not to mention it took over an hour to have a gel fill done. It was obvious the tech was new and was so nervous she was shaking; I felt bad for her so when the gentleman at the counter asked me what happened to my fingers as I was paying (they were a bit red but not yet too sore) I said they were dry cuticles-I'm sorry today that I didn't say anything at that time because today my fingers and cuticles are killing me. read more

Like most of the review, I wanted to love this place but it didn't happen. The salon is a beautiful atmosphere, very clean with a very friendly staff. So, what's the problem you ask? It was late in the evening, and I requested a basic Manicure and Pedi. The nail tech was very nice girl however her skill sets were the problem as I would say she was either inexperienced or just terrible at her job. Every nail was filed crooked, one cut so short that I thought she was crazy. When I said there crooked, she did try and correct each one, but the shape was getting worse. When it came to cutting my cuticles, she was having trouble using it as it slipped out of her hands several times and she barley cut my cuticles. Needless to say every nail was catching on my sheets and i need to have them redone at spending $56.00 . The service itself was not good or in line with the pricing. The price was $17 for a basic manicure and$ 28 or$29 for a basic pedicure -Long last nail polish will cost you $5 for each service not the standard $3. While I have no problem paying the price the salon will need to make sure if you charge premium pricing; you need to deliver premium services. Wishing them much luck as it is a beautiful salon but i don't I'll return. read more
