Parking 5/5 Plenty of private parking. Venue 5/5 Large beautiful church campus with numerous buildings serving children through adults. Our training event was hosted in a large well equipped room with stage, full A/V support, scaleable seating space for a beverage and snack station. Event Check-in 5/5 Nicely organized check-in table with six user tablets to check-in via your phone number. The software automatically printed name tags. The process was easy and easily accommodated the large turnout! Food 5/5 Jared and Rock Point Church provided beverages and Fresh Pizza-a-plenty for all. Nice job Jared! Haven't been to queen creek location only Gilbert last Thursday, so can't give an honest review.

This is the place where my husband and I come to worship. I really enjoy this church's laid back, modern style. Traditional services tend to lose my attention very easily, but here I stay engaged. The pastors make the teachings easy to understand, and the music at the beginning always moves me. I feel genuinely welcomed and never judged when I come here. There are ALL types of people here and I like that a lot. This is my preferred church and that says a lot considering I visit churches every day for work. read more

I have never been to church before, and wanted to start going as a family since we just moved here a few months ago from CA. Went to the Christmas light show and the atmosphere and environment was amazing. Checked out the service, kids center and the newcomers dinner and love all of it! It is more than a church, it is a community. Very welcoming and easy going. There are groups you can join too. What sold me was the kids center, very secured, with great teachers and a great ratio of kids to teacher. Lots of room to explore outside for the kids while you hang out before or after. Saturday nights are family nights so they have a lot of cool stuff for the kids. I am excited to learn more. read more

We attended our nephew's baptism two weeks ago; controlled masks, but very exciting, we went last week to the 11:30 last service and going tomorrow. We even have reservations for Easter service. Amazing, they are serious to have you in church for Easter with lots of services to meet any family schedule. The start here for visitors started shaky but got us registered (WiFi issues) and in service. We ask the greeter where the quietest spots were, as we were not here for a rock concert? (We are a little older and the band, looking a little bored was waiting for the count down to start). We received remarkable advice to set on the sides towards front and offered ear plugs. They were right and we did not need the ear plugs. Did miss at the end of service with no music (the band had left the building) an alter call and salvation but it was not a salvation message. It was a very good sermon, with the necessary points and lots of bible verses which I prefer. The end with "if you need prayer it's over there and you are dismissed. The mostly full sanctuary filed out quickly. Need more ladies restroom at this point They are very good with large crowds, except the parking lot, the most dangerous time of any Sunday, when service lets out. Almost hit as driver did not slow down at crossing as they felt they had the right of way to turn into our lane to turn right on street that had stop light. We went south on power to avoid traffic line up on northbound power that we witnessed on our way in. That proved the best way to get back to Ellsworth and go north. The special needs areas is fantastic. This attention to our community makes it a 5 Stars church. They welcome all sinners (aren't we all. only made righteous because of our Savior) come casual and just the way you are as they are a significant Church. read more

I absolutely love coming here. they accept everyone, no matter clothes, looks, or personality. I've made lots of friends. of course there are times I have been made fun of here because I dress in the grunge style and I wear kind of weird outfits, but I love learning more about god. and the leaders are the most kind people you will ever meet read more

I love this church. I've been going to Rock Point for the last year and a half and .. wow! The classes and resources for care and recovery like celebrate recovery, grief share, and divorce care .. are amazing. I've met so many wonderful people in this community and am beyond grateful for connections I've made and the spiritual growth and support I've been experiencing here. Amazing Church!!! That loves its community. Opens its campus everyday for 100's of teens from the school next door to hang out until they can be picked up. Their staff and volunteers are incredibly kind and servant oriented. Pastor Bill is a great pastor that serves his congregation and community with love. read more

Bill Bush is a great preacher, he knows the bible forward and back. He preaches the word with a full heart! However, other than the friendly facade of the greeters, many of the congregants leave much to be desired. While attending a men's bible study not one man responded to my greeting them. I tried to engage in conversation with a number of clusters of men in small groups of 5 to 10 men, before or after the bible study session. I felt invisible. My wife, however, had the opposite experience. The women's bible study was friendly and inviting. The men of Rock Point Church can learn a few things ,when it comes to hospitality and a welcoming spirit, from their wives. We were looking for a vibrant and active small family group to joint within Rock Point Church, but only found 2-couples that had been meeting for some years, they were very inviting, but we were hoping for a family group that was active in community services and outreach. We were unable to find an active group that met these criteria. We have since left Rock Point and have partnered with a church that welcomes both men and women equally and has a vibrant community outreach program for family bible groups read more

If you are looking for an old school church, this possibly won't be the church for you. If you are looking for church that has a great band and great singers who are dressed in Levi's with torn knees, who performs top notch and a sermon that keeps your interest and super friendly, give it a try. They do streaming so you can see what they are all about and watch a sermon to see if you are interested. We watched a sermon, looked at each other and said "yep, this is our new church."... and it is. We look forward to each Sunday and hear what the pastor will talk about next. my husband and I went to my sons church in California. It is very much like Rock Point. I had never heard of Rock Point.My husband and I live in Queen Creek and we pass church's on practically every corner. I never felt one way or the other about them. As we drove past Rock Point I felt this pull to go to this church as I didn't even know this was a church. We went in to get coffee just to kind of check it out. we felt instantly comfortable just being there. We came home and streamed it. we listened to some past sermons.That's when we decided we really have to go to this church. And we've been going ever since. read more

Love this church! Me and my wife went on our first date here years ago. They teach very sound Bible based doctrine. They do not teach the prosperity gospel or new age law of attraction nonsense. This is a church for people who love God and can take the hard truth from the Bible. This will always be our home church and God is doing amazing things through this church and in the local community! read more

I follow the Christian faith and attend Rock Point every time I visit my Daughter who lives here in Gilbert AZ. It is a must for me because Pastor Bill has been so blessed with such an amazing and faithful organization of loving people. The worship band rocks the house with current christian artists and his messages are from a place of God and Family. He will fill your heart with the word of God with a message you can't but help know it is for you. read more

As a LONG TIME member who gave and served faithfully - if you want to attend a church that DOES NOT "point people to Jesus, by loving them like Jesus" - go there. If you want to attend a church where it's ALL ABOUT what THEY can GET from YOU, and they have NO REGARD at all for you, your family, your well being, your life, your struggles, etc - go there. If you want to *literally* be bold-faced lied to by staff "leaders" - go there. I am not the only one after several years of loyalty and being sucked dry, has finally seen their true colors. Do not be deceived by the fake outward appearance. Find a good bible based church that you can invest in, but they also invest in you, as part of the body of Christ, as we are supposed to do, care, love, and support one another as part of the body of Christ, as well as evangelize. read more

Good preacher but I disagreed with him on a topic he mentioned a few times in his messages. I sent him two letters and emailed his assistant twice. I gave a very respectful explanation as to why I disagreed from a biblical perspective. I am a former biblical worldview instructor at an extension program that was associated with fuller seminary. Pastor Bush never responded to any of my efforts to have dialogue with him. I don't have a lot of respect for people that are not secure enough to have dialogue with those that may not agree with them. read more

I went to the Young Adults here one time, sound doctrine and the guest speaker has a son with Autism and I wanted to give him some recommendations. It was after service he was kind, loving and accepting to my suggestions for his 3 year old as I told him what could help him because I'm on the spectrum. But then, he said "Your place is here, every night" which kind of bothered me, so playing NT here, I think he meant "You have to be saved and keep on attending here in order to do that." Then after service (this happened before the service too) the people here are SO cliquey they do NOT talk to anyone new AT ALL. So I talked to the quiet people and they were SO happy to have me connect with them. So then I thought "Why go to this place again? I could just be at home binge watching Hulu, Netflix, etc." BTW, this group meets Thursday nights and you spend an hour and a half listening to loud, Christian Pop Music entering, Actual loud worship songs during and after more loud Pop Music until they wrap it up completely. read more

When I was a kid (the 70s) I was in church every time the doors were open. Got away from my faith after high school but my wife and I found our way to Rock Point in 2010. Pastor Bill and the rest of the team are awesome. He and I are the same age so I get all the jokes and stories that others here have complained about. They're Dad jokes, come on. The best thing is that the ministry team brings out the same points and same teachings I heard as a child in another state and church. I was able to mention that fact to Bill and his response was "That's because it's the truth." BLAM, end of story. My wife had a medical issue and their prayer team was on it and wrote and mailed us notes regarding their prayers. Churches need money to function. Nothing happens in a vacuum and Bill has the spine to speak to us about the truth and ask for help. This church team will not alter the Bible's message to save feelings. read more

This used to be a good church. I did have an experience, like another reviewer where my child got up to walk out and get a drink of water then come back in. An usher, older lady with silver hair, asked us to leave because my child was distracting the pastor. Pastor Bush is usually very good, but lately he has changed. His jokes fall flat and every sermon is a story about himself. I can see the financial pressure is really on him since in his last sermon he straight up tried to guilt us in to giving money to the church. He stated that we trust the church with our children during service but wont trust the church with our money. He also made a statement that we "will give him our wallets". Perhaps the church should focus more on Jesus and less on how big they can grow. I'm moving on. read more

I feel I must respond re Rotor's comment about the sermons being about Bill. The sermons aren't about him, but sometimes he gives us personal stories that segue nicely into what he wants to talk about in his sermon. For instance, a friend of his, a used car salesman, offered to sell him a good car. Even though he knew he could trust his friend, he hesitated, because the joke is that you can't trust used car salesmen. His thinking was clouded by this, rather than that he could trust his friend. His message that day was how sometimes we Christians have bad things happen to us, and don't always trust the Lord like we should. Yes, he jokes, but that's preferable to the old-fashioned pastors who were stern and never had a sense of humor. He is 100% Bible-based in everything he preaches. Also, I've gotten up during the service to use the restroom. When I come back in the sanctuary, no one stops me or makes a big deal about it. read more

I loved going to Rock Point. The services were energetic and Pastor Bill's messages were awesome. I gave monthly but one day while they were building a new building, I got a letter stating that I wasn't giving enough. Haven't been back since and am pretty sure that there are other organizations that are more gracious about receiving. Shame. read more

We love Bill Bush, and we really enjoy how the sermons are very relatable. The music is great, and the overall presentation makes it an easy place to like. It really does surprise me though how many people don't show up on time for the service and then struggle with finding seats because people don't scoot to the center of the rows. read more

What a great church! My family and I found a home here. All the staff is so warm and welcoming, the worship is amazing and the kids and youth departments have been great for my kids. Billy Bush is an amazing pastor, the music is to loud for the space, maybe turn down the amps and mics. Get someone to evaluate the space for sound. Don't think my kids need to have hearing problems by their 10th birthday. The check in process for the kids studies is ALWAYS a cluster on the regular Sunday service, but on the holiday services it is a breeze. You would think the opposite. The lady in charge sure likes to carry the clip board and talk on the 2way radio. My kids love coming here once all the BS is over come. I did like coming here but it has grown tiresome with all the BS. Will continue to attend for the kids. read more

I came here on Thanksgiving weekend from out of state to visit my family and wanted to find a church to go to on that Sunday. I happened across this place on Yelp and after watching just one of the sermons online I KNEW I had to visit this place! The worship team is amazing and the pastor is phenomenal! Even my mother, who came from a very classic and structured backround when it comes to church, enjoyed it as well. The pastor has a great way of taking the teachings of the bible and making them accessible and entertaining. He brings a good balance. Looking forward to the next time that I'm in town so I can visit again! If you don't get the chance to go, I highly recommend checking out the sermons on the website. read more

Traditional? not exactly (at least from where I came from) but FAITH FILLED most definitely!!! I came from small rural church that shares a minister - wonderful church family that I love and truly started my faith journey with. I never thought I'd get involved with a mega church. I did the church shopping thing. I've attended 3 services and "We are Rock Point Church" class. Pastor Bill is certainly PASSIONATE for our Lord. So much of what I saw and heard was true to His Word. As Christians we should all "KNOW, GROW & GO". I look forward to doing that with my new church family. read more

People need to make it into the church service BEFORE the sermon starts, it's very distracting! And the church ushers should know that. read more

I belonged to another church that I attended for years until the lead pastor stepped down and left it for his sons. When that took place I was no longer getting spiritually fed. I started my search for a new church and found this one. I heard pastor Bill preach and I knew I was home. His preaching is very simplistic but deep and I can easily relate. I look forward to going to church every week. read more
