this was a disappointing stop after a wonderful 6 day roadtrip along the Organ coast…read more placed our reservation thinking we paid for a lovely riverside camp site. come to find out upon arrival the site was a gravel unmarked drive way with the very loud sound of the freeway. not sure of our site we drove back up to the office of course, knowone there (office hours 10 to 3pm) called office manager Amanda and recieved a very unwelcoming response to our question and verification of camp site. drove back to site , hooked up sat down, got back up unhooked and spate gravel out of there...so worth leaving our $64.50 behind.

We got it settled and had no problems after that. The sites was long enough for our trailer and truck in front. Thanks to Dean who helped direct us in because he got us farther back than I would because of a box in back. He was so kind and helpful!! I would definitely recommend Riverpark RV park and would be happy to return.

Thank you Dawn! The trails were beyond amazing, there were places to take my dog that were super fun. All our neighbors were great as we made new friends in our little area. The showers and restrooms were very clean and the bathroom always kept warm for hot showers. Thank you Amanda! Who was also great! When booking our spot Cathy was also super helpful and accomodatin g. And their store prices were very reasonable, unlike most campsite general stores and they had everything we needed. This place is by far oiur most favorite place to stay....a definite 5 star plus. Also, their cabins and yurts are so cute and homey! we are already booking for next month! There is also a section for tents and RVs without hookups. There is a playground for kids nearer to the tent camping area. We are here in September and the reservoir is severely drawn down so water activities are pretty much out of the question. As others noted, it gets really hot in the summer so air conditioning makes it MUCH more comfortable. Interesting wildlife in the area-deer, ground squirrels, Jack rabbits, and coyotes. Limited hiking options near the park. All that being said, price is reasonable. It's very quiet. And bonus, you can see the stars.

My dog has stickers & pokies all over him because there isn't normal grass ANYWHERE. My family & I showed up in sandals & had slivers/stickers all in our sandals. Very painful. Their website photos are either edited or were taken a long time ago because this place looks nothing like it did on the website. If you're looking for a great family camping spot, this is NOT a good one.

It is off the highway about 6 miles so there is no noise from the freeway just the sound of the river. Very clean and dog/pet friendly. The owners are helpful and friendly. We were a bit worried by the road there (lots of fair sized holes) and the weather (California was experiencing a bad heat wave, and it was 105 here), and considered only staying one of our two nights. So so glad we stayed both nights. The wild horses were hanging out the whole time, and much of it in front of our trailer. I'm sure the heat drove them down to the river and tasty lawn. We also saw the blue heron, bats, and two river otters! Baby bird above the men's bathroom. Lots to see and enjoy. This place is pristine and quiet. We'd just come from a gross Thousand Trails and a loud state park. Coming here with the clean (and air conditioned!!) bathrooms and showers was lovely. The hosts were so nice. And it just felt quiet and relaxing, only punctuated by territorial stallions making a fuss. Nice additions are the giant shaded area with picnics tables and Adirondack chairs to hang out in- our space didn't have a tree so the shaded option was much appreciated. This is a way away from us, but we hope to come back and spend more time here. Also- shoutout to the hosts who spend a lot of time cleaning up horse poop to keep the roads clean for us!

There is a perm side of the park but the nightly full hook up and water and electric are just fine. You are away from the cities (like Medford) yet they are only 9 miles away. Cows in pastures, foxes running and jumping by and other wildlife. Side trips.... 2 and half hours to the CA coast (Crescent City) and the Redwoods. And hour and half to Crater Lake. Then there is Grants Pass, Jacksonville, wineries, the Oregon Caves and Ashland OR to visit from this KOA.
