this was a disappointing stop after a wonderful 6 day roadtrip along the Organ coast…read more placed our reservation thinking we paid for a lovely riverside camp site. come to find out upon arrival the site was a gravel unmarked drive way with the very loud sound of the freeway. not sure of our site we drove back up to the office of course, knowone there (office hours 10 to 3pm) called office manager Amanda and recieved a very unwelcoming response to our question and verification of camp site. drove back to site , hooked up sat down, got back up unhooked and spate gravel out of there...so worth leaving our $64.50 behind.

It's super close to the Oregon Caves and offers everything you could want in a place to stay. Full hookups, clean showers, WiFi that works, laundry on-site, and even easy river access for a refreshing swim. The whole place has a funky, laid-back vibe but is also really well kept. Everything was clean and clearly taken care of, which made our stay feel extra comfortable. Whether you're road tripping in your RV, towing a trailer, or just pitching a tent, this spot is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

There is also a section for tents and RVs without hookups. There is a playground for kids nearer to the tent camping area. We are here in September and the reservoir is severely drawn down so water activities are pretty much out of the question. As others noted, it gets really hot in the summer so air conditioning makes it MUCH more comfortable. Interesting wildlife in the area-deer, ground squirrels, Jack rabbits, and coyotes. Limited hiking options near the park. All that being said, price is reasonable. It's very quiet. And bonus, you can see the stars.

Then there is Grants Pass, Jacksonville, wineries, the Oregon Caves and Ashland OR to visit from this KOA.

The park was incredibly peaceful and beautifully forested, giving us the feeling of being tucked away deep in the woods. The staff were genuinely kind, and our fellow campers were respectful and honored the quiet hours, making the entire experience feel calm and restorative. The bathrooms were very clean and upgraded! There was even live music on the night we stayed, which made our unexpected visit feel extra special. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely book here again if we are ever back in the area.

The bathrooms and showers was very clean and love how it has PIN number locks for exclusivity campers use only and safety too. Zack thought of everything. Would come back and stay here again. Location was convenient when you need a quick comfy bed stay for passing through drives. Our wagon stay was super clean enough to fit a family of four comfortably. Immersed among all the tall pine trees, sunny valley campsite was a hit! Will come come and stay again.
