I felt quite uncomfortable to eating/drinking my donuts and Oreo shake. I saw the employees hugging and petting their cat inside of the store and letting the cat walk on the tables. The donuts were pre-made when I bought them, so I don't know for sure if any of the employees washed their hands prior to making them. At the time of my visit, the woman making my shake didn't touch the cat, but she also didn't wash her hands when making my shake. So for all I know, she could have touched the cat all over prior to my visit without using proper hygiene to make my shake. Very unsanitary. I felt grossed out. read more

Don and Mickey's shop has really cool specimens inside to go along with coffee & espresso & ice cream. For a hot Utah day (and there are plenty of those) it's hard to not beat a tasty ice cream treat. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable about the area offering some cool Utah facts for us southern visitors. Fun nick knack offerings for souvenirs can be found here as well. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, but it makes for a nice break from a long drive ... stretch the legs .... grab a drink .... and get a chance to talk with some cool locals. We were looking for a quick snack and thanks to yelp and the big rock building we came across this stop. Its a giant rock - but inside to our surprise - it had more rocks! So many different stones and crystals for purchase. Also they are known for their espresso sundaes so I had to try it! Delicious! Perfect combo of bitter and sweet. A wonderful stop en route to Bryce Canyon. The Rock Stop is a unique, rock-shaped building with specimens inside as well as a host of raw stone outside. We were greeted by Callie, a sweet little Calico kitty, as we came in. The lattes were strong and delicious, with options for flavors and milk choices (dairy and non-dairy). They advertised an espresso sundae and affogato, which looked wonderful as well. I am a teacher and was looking for local rocks to show my class. I asked Don for suggestions and he took the time to show me a variety of fascinating rocks, telling me the stories of the pieces and their sourcing. Definitely ask about the moqui marbles and septarian! The Rock Stop also carries crackable geodes and other raw and tumbled stones, as well as a wide selection of jewelry. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our time at The Rock Stop and I highly recommend taking the time to explore! read more

We recently took a family vacation at Zion, this was our favorite little shop out of all the ones that we stopped by! I picked up some moss agate + quartz for my plants, I had an espresso milkshake, my man had a cappuccino, and soft serve for the kids. The prices here are fair and customer service was exceptional. Coffee in Utah isn't as great as we are used to, this place had the best coffee out of all the places we stopped by. If you are traveling through Utah, you'll notice some shops have employees wearing masks and others do not, it's kind of a hit or miss in regards to health safety. We were happy to see the shop owner wearing a mask here and washing his hands plenty. He was also incredibly sweet (not everyone is out here lol)! Theres also a very sweet & pretty kitty who hangs out on the patio, my kids loved her! I suggest making a stop here, checking out their great collection + ordering some ice cream or coffee and enjoying the beautiful view from the patio.
