There is street parking available, as well as an underground garage with approximately 15-20 spaces. That said, I imagine many visitors simply walk to the market due to its central location. Note: Don't be surprised by some of the prices. Many everyday items cost more than you might expect, which is fairly typical for a small market in an isolated tourist town. The added convenience and location near Zion are reflected in the pricing. Overall: A convenient market for grabbing groceries, prepared foods, or picnic supplies during your stay in Springdale.

We got enough for taco dinners and breakfast tacos. It came out to approximately $100, which split between four people and two meals, that's a steal! There's a parking garage below the store, and you can take the stairs to head in. The store also sells other items that you might need for hiking and going into the park. If you go for name brand products, you might find the store to be expensive. We went for store brand products which cut a good chunk of our cost! I.e. eggs were ~$3 store brands vs. $7 name brand. Good grocery store for a quick pick ups!

We chose Geodes with some other strangers who were shopping, but we left sharing a unique and one of a kind experience. This store has been around for over 40 years, and I couldn't recommend stopping by while you're in Zion! Also incredible value in comparison to the other gift shops and stores in Springdale

Cool art, historic items, books, jewelry, clothing, souvenirs, snacks, skincare, local goodies such as prickly pear syrups & jams, calendars, postcards, and pretty much anything else your heart might desire. The best part and I discovered this on my last visit is that this particular gift shop also allows you to rent out bicycles! I used to bike in all the way from Springdale and now I don't have to! You can rent by the hour or the entire day. The staff who work in the gift shop are so wonderful and assist you with the entire process which of course takes some paperwork. Worth the extra 5 mins. Pro tip for all Zion visitors ~ ride a bike around the park at least once in your life. You'll see things you were never able to notice from the shuttle.

Seeing crowds of tourists in identical boots carrying the same poles felt like classic herd behavior and an unnecessary upsell. I was wrong. The rocks in The Narrows are uneven, slippery, and constantly changing. The boots provided great traction, and the pole was invaluable for both balance and gauging water depth. Could you buy cheaper gear for about the same price? Probably. But it likely wouldn't be as good, and you'd have to carry it around. Sometimes there's a good reason to follow the herd. This was one of those times.

The staff at the store were cheerful, helpful, and really went beyond in my opinion. Wally, our shuttle driver was great and I'd request him in the future. We ran into him on the trail and we all stopped and he took cute pictures of us. Thanks Wally. The bikes were so great that we both want to get one. Sigh, some day. They also have bike clothes. I buy most of mine online and that can be disappointing. I got a great jersey top there. It fits! Yay! They also recommended where to get great sandwiches (Deep Creek Coffee, a block away) and wow was that a perfect recommendation. As a hardtail owner and frequent rider, my biggest worry was sub-standard rental bikes. Nope, these folks have their own service area off the main room and my bike was in perfect condition. Banging down the slickrock obstacles and feeling the bike take care of me and own the line as the rocks challenged me along the way was a flying joy. A joy that only confidence in your machine gives. Yeah, that was a ride. Beautiful, challenging, and glorious.
