The home contains quality furnishings, including a Taylor King sectional, a custom Vanguard dresser, a large Restoration Hardware rug, and other high-end items. After nearly three weeks of back-and-forth communication, they finally were going to come out on March 13 and picked up only two items--a sideboard and a rug. To my surprise, after our conversation with the driver on his way, they then declined the rug. I decided to tell him not to even come, and I would not be doing business with them and that their business structure was extremely unprofessional and excruciatingly painful to deal with. During prior communication, they asked what price I hoped to get for the rug. I suggested $800 for a $3000 rug as a starting point, fully acknowledging that I did not expect to recover what I originally paid. I specifically asked for their professional input since this is their business and they know the resale market. Instead of providing guidance, I was simply told my price "wasn't their happy price." That was the extent of the explanation. The entire process was unnecessarily frustrating. Communication is routed through a receptionist who acts as a gatekeeper, making it impossible to speak directly with the person actually making the consignment decisions. Everything is filtered through short emails or secondhand messages, which creates confusion and delays. For a business that relies on consignors bringing them quality merchandise, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and inefficient process is surprising. Clearing out an estate is already difficult, and this experience only made it more frustrating. I would not recommend working with this company. Their communication structure and overall business approach are not consumer-friendly.

Walked over to the wall of hats, found a lovely beige hat but no staff. I did go to the register to pay for a pair of socks, no hello, just rang in the item. I asked if they do custom fit boots. The girl said "Not here" and walked away after handing us the bag.

That she made a special trip just for us. Unsure why it would be a special trip if she offered to make an appt and also offered times 1:30 & 2pm. She left at 1:50pm. Unfortunate. Scott however is amazing at this location but wasn't available. I would only recommend him.
