There were a few people who came through the gates from the antique shop in back to grab coffee (maybe the clerk from that shop?). The people all were super friendly. There are a few tables, and we grabbed the two comfy big chairs to relax in and connected to the free wi-fi. The beans are roasted on the premises, and you can watch them whirling around in a machine. How totally cool is that? I ordered a mocha, and it had the velvety smoothness of a high quality mocha. Because we stayed here, it was served in a ceramic mug. Several choices are on the readerboard for food items, including quiche. So, if you are hungry, there is probably something to pair with your coffee. read more

Yee Haw! This is a delightful little local coffee shop attached to an antique market in downtown Kennewick. If you are not local, you will probably miss this unless you make a point of heading there. The decor is pretty standard--blackboard with the menu written on it, three or four tables and chairs and a couple of comfortable chairs for the lucky couple who gets them. What sets this apart from most coffee shops is the roastery that is in the front of the store. As you are enjoying your coffee, you can watch the beans being roasted, sorted and/or packaged. I had a vanilla latte made with whole milk. It was very smooth and nicely presented. Because I drank it there, I was able to have my coffee served in a ceramic cup, which always improved the flavor of the coffee. The price was very reasonable, and with a teacher discount, the cost was less than $4.00 for a medium sized drink. The walls are decorated with an eclectic variety of posters, art and knick-knacks. It is always fun to find new experiences that have a unique flavor to both the establishment, the personnel and the libation. Our barista was very efficient and the resulting drink was delightful. Found this place yesterday. Great coffee shop in the old downtown of Kennewick. I'll be back every time I'm in the Tri-Cities.

This is a great coffee shop. Because of my work as a teacher (and student) and my love for coffee, I visit my share of coffee shops, from Washington to Arizona--this is one of my all-time favorites. First, the coffee itself is great. The owners roast coffee on site, so it's fresh and unique to this establishment. Each coffee is made for the individual customer, from steaming the milk to pulling shots, and brewed coffee is always hot (or they make a new cup). To supplement coffee, all baked goods are fresh from a local bakery. Second, the environment offers something for everybody. There is plenty of seating, enough light to read, free wifi, and power for those needing to plug in. It's also conveniently located in downtown Kennewick, right by an antique shop, and it has plenty of car and bike parking nearby. Also, I recommend becoming a regular. The baristas learn your name and your order because they're genuinely interested in providing great coffee for their community--this is a small, local establishment in an old downtown environment committed to excellent coffee. I recently visited this quaint coffee shop. The place is adorable and the people are great, unfortunately, the coffee was ok. After I read through the reviews, I hope that I just experienced a fluke or maybe someone new. If I based the star rating on coffee quality alone, I would have given Rockabilly a lower score. I have visited and reviewed a lot of coffee shops, so I am also a bit more particular than most. I had a macchiato, and I could taste the over-pulled shot of espresso from over-roasted beans. I worried when I was asked "what size"? The person assumed I wanted a caramel macchiato (a delicious dessert in a cup filled with milk, syrup, caramel and touch of coffee). By no means am I knocking coffee shops who cater to those types of coffee beverages. Many people love them. If they didn't, there wouldn't be a Starbucks on every corner that sells out of PSL. But, when you have "Roasters" in your name, it generates a different expectation. I made a 30min trip for a coffee because I anticipated a quality macchiato. If you're a purest, and think espresso should be consumed at the counter, while standing, this place isn't what you're looking for. If however, if you would like to patronize a sweet little coffee shop and order a vanilla latte or Carmel Macchiato, this place could be your perfect cup of...coffee. read more

Upon arriving the shop was slow, smile on Baristas face, (seemed to be the owner) asked a little about the business. The menu for drinks is what a coffee shop should offer, espresso, latte, etc (not too much clutter of frozen drinks and concoctions) Espresso in my almond milk latte is smooth nutty, slightly bright. They roast their own beans, I'm excited to try an americano, or espresso. Been to many large cities with artisan coffee roasters and would say that this is the first shop locally that offers the experience and taste roaster enthusiasts look for. Great job guys read more

Great second wave coffee! Top 3 Tricity coffee that is not bright or hipster & still a great price. I love the varied seating options as usually I'll camp at a cafe for a few hours to work or study so I can move between standing to cushy chair to table. Its 4 stars instead of 5 because of the music. I was hoping for rockabilly music, go figure...... Instead, we are at the mercy of the bored barista picking something on their phone while they play on it which means ringtone interruptions if they forgot to silence it, varied volume, constant song skipping, weird silent intervals, &&& terrible 2003 hits. Why? WHY?? Do they not actually like rockabilly music? Why is it then called rockabilly? Otherwise why cant they pick a hits playlist on Spotify & call it done? I can only review the coffee beans because I bought them at the farmer's market rather than in store but they were GREAT and I was very sad when I ran out. I used them in my french press and was surprised at the difference between these and others I have tried. Quiet music, adequate seating, fair prices ($2.50 for a 16oz Americano in a nice mug). Good tasting coffee, especially if you prefer second-wave coffee--not the new "bright" stuff sold in the hipster shops. I got the Americano and my wife got a regular black coffee. My Americano was intense without being bitter, just as I like it. Her coffee was very good, too. We'll be back. read more

Found this place as we were scoping out a place to sit for the parade. I am visiting from NC so I am accustomed to Starbucks or Panera Bread. Had the gluten free quiche and chai tea.
