Absolute trash hotel. The management here literally stole $150 from me. On top it of that; after…read morethey stole the money, they had the nerve to lie to me and blame Expedia and Hiltons hotel policy for stealing my money. The fact is the general manager and manager of this hotel have zero honor and will literally steal your money to meet their hotels quota. Hope it was worth the $150. I gave the management multiple opportunities to do the right thing. Do not trust this hotel with anything. If any business is willing to steal from you and then lie to you, there is nothing they are not willing to do. I stay at hotels over 100 days a year and never has something like this happened. Gross.

Wonderful stay! I was really pleased with my choice and would definitely recommend the Hampton Inn…read moreLexington-Historic District. The service was great, a nice greeting when I checked in and the staff was friendly throughout the stay. Special shout out to Ginny at the front desk for her stellar service. The location is inviting, and my king bed & room with outside entry was spacious and clean. The room had all the Hampton amenities including a nice size TV, microwave, mini fridge, iron and full size ironing board, and a coffee maker. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a nice lounge chair. There was plenty of parking, and my room was in the back of the hotel (by the cabin) and the area was quiet and relaxing. The property has a lot of charm, especially the historic Cabin built in the mid-1700s, it catches the attention and is used as a special events space. The main house, Col Alto, is a beautiful Georgian-style brick home dating back to 1827. Both are rich in history and make the stay even more unique. I would absolutely stay here again and hear the historic rooms with bath tubs are the rooms to reserve. I was most pleased with the Kind bed & room.

Billing themselves as a boutique hotel is a bit of a stretch. While the staff was great, rooms were…read moreclean, and beds were comfortable, I missed some of the amenities that I've taken for granted in other places? Who doesn't have a mini-fridge in their rooms? For a sight seeing stay of three days, I NEEDED one. And before you say Well, you could have used ice, no I couldn't. The ice machine was down on the hottest week of 2026 Will I stay again? Yes. The location and pricing is excellent. But its got pretty fancy interior design for having such basic services.

This is an old hotel with nicely updated interiors. Lobby is very cute in an old worldly way…read more Rooms are modern, clean and bright. We had a corner room in the 15th tier looking out the back with mountains in the distance and hotel parking lot below. Bed is firm and comfortable with crisp cotton sheets. Good size shower with hot and strong rain shower head. Good size room with vinyl tile flooring much better than carpeting. Only reason I gave it a 4 star is due to the free breakfast which is really not much better than no breakfast at all. Surprising as they have a small restaurant so you'd think they have the facilities to provide a more acceptable version. There's just coffee (weak), tea (hot water ran out and no one came to replace), old fruit, tubs of cereal (way too sweet) cartons of orange juice, milk and yogurt and some packaged granola bars and bagels, much more basic than most chain motels. Location is great however, right in the middle of town and there is free parking in a lot behind the hotel.

My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday evening as we were meeting friends in town for a basketball…read moregame at VMI. The staff at this inn are very nice and helpful. As a guest, you have a dedicated parking spot which is nice as this inn is located on Main street and you can walk to many restaurants, bars, and shops. Our room was quite nice. The only draw back is that this place is right on Main street across from a few W&L frats...so on this Saturday night you could hear noise from the street into the room... but not really bad. I would like to go back here and eat dinner in the restaurant at some point. My only negative- the bar in the hotel has beer on draft. However, apparently, it was a wine draft previously and no adjustments were made on carbonation. The beer foamed so badly that it was flat by the time the glass was full. This was true on the two different beers we tried. We switched to wine.. which was fine. In my opinion, they need to stop selling that beer until that is resolved.

I stopped here on my drive back from Savannah to Manassas for lunch…read more It was very slow on the Tuesday after Labor Day. A beautfiul sunny day and I wanted to find a restaurant with an outside patio. This was a great pick. I had the crab bisque which was excellent. For my main I had the seafood salad with grilled salmon, shrimp and scallops on a bed of greens with the raspberry vinergerret dressing, it was excellent. Katie took good care of me and kept my glass full of sweet tea. She told me the 'Livery' used to be a place where horses were boarded.
