I love the Q - not only because I love the city of Cleveland, but because I honestly believe this arena is one of the best in the industry. Ever since the Q was renovated a couple years back, it truly is a sight to behold. The most obvious point of discussion here is the absolutely massive screens hanging from the ceiling that you have to see to believe. The "humongotron" consists of four separate screens that are curved; basically, no matter where you sit, you have fantastic views of the scoreboard. The Q also now has beautiful LED screens that run around the entire seating bowl, providing an immersive experience in the game (or concert) that you're enjoying. Not only is the technology at the Q top of the line, but I've found that the employees here are also wonderful. Almost every employee I've encountered in my numerous experiences at the Q has had a smile on their face and an obvious excitement to be a part of this enterprise. I also love all of the food options at the Q - my family and I frequent the B Spot location here, and the Michael Symon milkshake bar is the bomb. I always enjoy coming to the Q no matter what the occasion. If you've never been, I highly recommend a visit! read more

Nice venue for seeing a sports event or concert, but the seat pricing can be a bit strange. I sometimes suspect that they instruct the ticket agents to tell people that they are out of the $10 seats for a night because I've often bought a higher level and noticed that the $10 seats are largely empty. But the people working are always nice, which improved the experience. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason as to why certain concession stations are open while others aren't, but I don't mind walking a bit farther for a beer. One of the great things about the Q is they have so many family-friendly events and promotions, at least for Monsters games. They'll bring in animals from the Cleveland Zoo, always have poster-making materials available, and other interactive options. read more

Attended the Eric Church concert here. The location of the venue is easily accessible from the highway and there's a lot of parking nearby. The venue itself was nice and the seats were comfortable. There was a variety of food offered, priced the same as most other arenas. Nothing makes this a "must see" arena, but I would attend another event here. read more

Came here for a company outing to see the Cavs. The game was exciting and the seats we had were on the floor so we had a great view. The only issue is the moronic ticket policy where you need to download an app (Flash Seats) that takes forever to load and is ponderous to use. Once this is installed on your phone you then need to scan each person through separately and if they are not all there you are forced to wait behind the metal detectors where it is difficult to see who is arriving. All this so you cannot scalp tickets. King Whathisname can make tens of millions but if some poor schlub wants to sell his tickets and make a few bucks that is a big no-no. read more

Third time to this arena for NBA playoffs. It has a unique design with mid level seats on either side between the two suite levels. There are plenty of food and beverage choices and also guys who sell beer and water apart from the concession stands which allows one to get a quick beverage without waiting in a long concession line. Currently there is a large exterior construction process ongoing. This has created a huge traffic mess in the immediate vicinity. We parked across the street in a deck for $25 but it took an hour to get out afterward. I should also point out that the curved interior HD tv's on the scoreboard are massive. We sat in first row of upper level which gave a good view the court and the big screen. It doesn't hurt that this arena is the home of LeBron James. read more

Review deserves an update. The last time I attended, it was this game against the Lakers where most Lakers fouled out of the game leaving only 4 eligible players AND the Cavs still lost. The 2013-14 season stadium was half-empty and hotdogs sold for a dollar. Wow, several upgrades later since my last visit, I notice a better sound system, a ginormous HD jumbotron, a court projection system hologram thingamajig that's so awesome, and a team that can possibly win! I think you have to give the Q kudos in the post-Lebron era. I've gone to a handful of Cavs games, and while the renovation is a bit of a nuisance now, the project sounds like it will result in an improvement. With more common areas to congregate in to enjoy the games, the atmosphere should be more enjoyable for groups...similar to Progressive Field. Take advantage of the cheap tickets now folks. Cramped seats, but great view for the price! Had a stressful first week of clinicals so we decided on a quick spontaneous trip to see Disney on Ice this weekend at the Quicken Loans Arena. Tickets were well priced for the view but the killer ticket service fees brought the price up like cray....like more than double...this coupon queen found some sweet codes though so the price was still awesome! Sat in C109, row 22 and I was able to see the facial expressions the skaters. Check in was real easy and quick! There were a lot of security lines so it took us 1 minute to get through the gate, but a few more to get cleared. I had a watch on, and I wasn't told to take it off. And my zippers set off the alarm too. So I kept beeping. But we figured it out eventually. So put all your electronics and metals in the bin before going thorough! I liked how clean and organized the venue was. In addition, there were copious amounts of bathrooms everywhere! Yes!! We got club seats and after walking halfway around the first floor, figured out that our seats weren't there. We had to backtrack to find this one set of elevators that led to Floor 4. For club seats you ride the elevators and walk past alllll the suites until you see the sign that says Club seats. And It's Disney so I expect them to exploit parents of kids who want Disney merch or food like cotton candy that comes with a Heihei or Pua foam hat for $15 or plastic Mickey ears for $25. So I don't have any gripes with that at the arena. I'm a Disney kid too so I was super tempted, but my boyfriend has a rational mind so that kept my temptations at bay. Minus one star for how cramped the seats are though ! I have bad circulation and cross my legs often so I'm always folded up and take up little space so this 5'4 body was fine. But my 5'9 boyfriend was experiencing pain from the little amount of space he had. We went on a double date and I noticed his friend looked uncomfortable too in the seats. The show was only 90 minutes with an intermission so they stretched out during intermission and that helped. This is an intimate stadium, one of the smaller ones I've been to and I liked that aspect. I would love to see a concert here..or even a game..when the Warriors come to visit heheh. Had a great time overall! read more

Very disappointed. I liked previous shows when the spotlights were on the performers. I didn't pay to see a bunch of windows with strobe lights blaring through the whole show. The windows took away from the beauty of the whole show. The light shows at previous performances have always been great. This time it was way too much. I saw a glimpse only a few times of the orchestra. The highlight for me was seeing the actual performers not just blacken figures/ silhouettes. I brought my family and none of them liked the show. Made the trip to the Q for the NCAA Wrestling Tournament and enjoyed the experience. I thought the Arena was easy to get into and out of. The signage is good at telling you where you want to go and there are plenty of workers to direct you or answer questions if you can't figure it out. Hard to say there is a bad view from any seat. The jumbotron is large and in charge. The food and beverage prices are comparable to any airport once you get past the gate. Hope that Cleveland doesn't give Gilbert any tax breaks or sin tax money unless Dan agrees to lower or freeze concession prices. I have been to over 100 college and professional facilities and the Q is the highest outside of Arlington Stadium. I do think they needed more help keeping the men's restrooms clean and could spend some additional time cleaning the arena floors in between seassions. Had the same seats for session 3-4 and someone above me spilled a drink and the floor in front of my seat was still sticky when I came back for the evening rounds. It would have been nice if someone mopped the floor as they had several hours to do it. Don't know how they picked up the trash and did not see or feel the spill after they cleaned up after the little kids next to me. I do recommend seeing a game, concert, or event at the Q because it is a pretty good experience. I came up for a few Cavs games LeBron's first tour in Cleveland and several concerts since then and have enjoyed myself. I took a star off for cleanliness and a star for concession prices. read more

I have been here for Circuses, WWF (not WWE) events, LeBron era games, plays and country concerts. In the heart of the city stands the Q, Quicken Loans Arena, home of the Cleveland Cavaliers. What an amazing place, I used to work at Paninis right down the street and would work on event nights and always got tix to Cavs games free of charge. All we had to do was be back by the after game rush and it was all good. Memories! I went to the Cavs vs. Warriors game recently with my boy and everything was unfolding as it should at a Cavs game; shit talking because he's from the Bay, an extra loud black lady screaming every play of the game for all to hear, a wigged and his actual black friend getting caught trying to move down closer, all the magical moments, ya know? We had such a good game and of course blew the lead and lost, oh well, I still love my city and our shitty teams. Hopefully one day I can delete "shitty"..... read more

This past Saturday I was here for the Cavs/Hawks game and this was my second time here for a game and the experience was pretty positive both times. We sat section 216 row 2 and had good seats to see the whole court. The usher was helpful in finding our seats for us too. The food choices are pretty typical stadium fare. The beer stands near our section had a very limited selection-mostly bud light cans which are not to my palate. We parked in the east garage and getting out was an absolute nightmare and took nearly 45 minutes. Energy is high for the Cavs games which is an awesome atmosphere and even better that they won last night! read more

Saw the Cavs play the Celtics in March, 2016. This was my fourth game at the Q and first there since 2010. They pretty much have gone ticketless. They scan your drivers license or credit card upon entering and print a small ticket to show the usher. Food wise it is pretty drab. Nothing too extravagant. A lot of hot dogs and nachos. They do have a Quaker Steak and Michael Symon restaurant. Food drink prices are somewhat high for the quality. Seats are tight. Lots of obstacles, not the best sight lines. Ushers were ok. Fans around us were friendly enough with my son and I wearing opposing team gear. I've been to several arena. The Q is average at best. read more

I've been here a few times for Cavs games and it's always fun. More recently I went with some coworkers for a monsters games and we enjoyed the VIP area. It's a pretty good deal. Drinks and food are all included. The foodx wasn't amazing but it was good, same with the wine. It started with fried chicken and mac n cheese. There was a small salad bar. They brought out a hotdog bar and chips later on as well as cookies and different pudding dessert cups. Very fun read more

The newly renovated Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse is spectacular! I, along with a few coworkers, was given the opportunity for a private tour of the facility. All I can say is WOW! We were able to see all the brand new event spaces, clubs, and the new atrium. Everything from the fun and colorful artwork on the walls, to the luxurious clubs were revamped. THE 200's ARE NOT MADE FOR LARGE MEN I made the mistake of employing the logic that if you're not in the front couple rows for a concert, than save your money and just get a seat centered on the stage somewhere and watch the big screens because you can't see anything anyways (Red Hot Chili Peppers 5/13/17). So, I went to the 200's directly across from the stage. The seats in this section are very crammed and uncomfortable. The slope is steep, and the drink holders are at foot kicking level. It's strange to think that these seats are so poorly designed for bigger guys when the biggest guys ever are down on the court dunking basketballs and winning championships. I guess the logic is if you are a big guy and wish to enjoy yourself at Quicken Loans Arena, start slamming it down on your buddies at the park until you're good enough to play in the NBA; probably 6-10 months I would suspect. The airflow sucked too. Again, I doubt if Lebron is in the house that they will let that place swelter like that. I saw a game here once before in the 100's and I don't remember my experience being that bad. So again, 100 level or play on the court. read more

So I came here to see a Lake Erie Monsters hockey game and had an awesome time! Recently I posted about seeing the Hurricanes play in NC and I said how lousy their fans were. No support for their team at all. Now this place was very much alive AND they didn't have many people in the arena. I'm only comparing because it just goes to show its the fans that make a sporting event fun or boring. We got seats right behind the glass which was amazing! Everytime these guys hit the boards our seats shook haha Wish I could have seats like that to all the hockey games I attend! I liked the arena overall as well. Nice and clean and very friendly staff working there. They really get into the whole set up on the hockey games too. They had a big blow up "monster" they presented on the ice right before the game and the crowd went nuts. Very cool! Another thing I liked about this place- we went and ordered drinks and the girl gives me the drinks and actually asks me if I want an extra cup of soda for my captain and Coke because the drink was that strong haha I've never been asked that question before. "Do you want extra soda for your drink?" Wow! Lol awesome. She was the sweetest girl too. Shoulda asked her name. All I know is she worked at the drink place "Cleveland on the rocks" I believe it was called- or something to that effect. Anyway- service rocked! And drinks were super cheap compared to other arenas I've been to. One other thing I thought was cool- I tweeted a photo of my fiancé and I to the monsters while we were at the game and they showed our photo, along with other fans photos, numerous times during the game. I also had seats right next to the players box and it's the first time I ever got to give "pounds" to the players as they walked out of the locker room and onto the ice. It was really exciting. Definitely had a great experience here! I know the Monsters aren't an NHL team- but if you love just the game of hockey- come check out one of their games! They did lose this one- but just by one goal bleh! Still was an awesome time! read more

I had a great time watching the Cleveland Cavaliers play in Quicken Loans Arena. It didn't hurt that I had amazing seats. The arena itself is pretty nice! The restrooms and dining spots are clearly labeled and pretty easy to find. It is also pretty great that they have a two-floor Cavaliers store for anyone who wants to buy a last minute t-shirt, jersey, or about a thousand other trinkets! I purchased a t-shirt for a pretty decent price- I actually think it was cheaper than the shirts at the local Dicks Sporting Goods. The staff in the arena was pretty helpful and drinks were sold by vendors walking up and down the steps. Things to note: If you do not want to get up during the game, I would recommend that you bring CASH so you can catch a vendor walking on the stairs. Also, be prepared and come early so parking will not be an issue. There are various parking lots but you do not want to be the person that has to walk 3/4 of a mile to the arena... it could happen. read more

The Q is a real nice arena that is very engaging. It is surprisingly large and conveniently located in downtown. The in arena experience is enjoyable. Negatives include really tight space and legroom in the seats. The really pack you in there. This is a new arena, so it is relatively clean. But, there's nothing real special about it. Food is blah and drinks are standard. I do love the tunnel to downtown and connection to the tower. It's a secret that locals know. If you don't know, now you know. read more

For an arena, it's super nice. The seats are better than some of the other places I have been. The jumbo-tron is enormous. You can't miss anything if you have a jumbo-tron. The parking isn't fabulous, the food could be better. There is only one vegetarian place in the whole arena. I just went here for my first Cavs game and I had a blast! I would recommend taking the RTA into Tower city and going through the food court to the arena. It saves you money and frustration from finding parking downtown or spending $20 to park at the casino. The arena is a little outdated however that didn't take away from the experience. We didn't have to wait in line for much time at all when getting food or going to the team store. The hot dogs we got were actually pretty decent. I recommend going to the team store early before the game since many sizes were gone in some of the items when we waited till the end of the game. Everyone we encountered was polite and helpful from the guy showing us where our seats are to the person that checked us out at the team store. We are looking forward to going back for a concert there in May. read more

Watched game 4 of the nba finals here and it was a nice arena. I like the Flash Tix app but wish it was a little bit more "up to date" shall we say with some of the other competitors in the market place. The arena food itself is not bad. I don't like the policy they have with the bottled drinks which is that they remove the cap from the bottle when your purchase it. This means than guess what ...drinks will get spilled that could have been prevented. I also didn't like that they didn't have a club area for the lower bowl section. I had to walk all the way up from my 1st row seat (1st world problems I know) to the main concourse to get food. At Oracle/AT&T baseball park and other arenas/stadiums they have a dedicated eating/dining section for the lower bowl. All in all a decent/average NBA arena but nothing that makes it stand out. The Q is such a fabulous experience every time! Even the cheapest seats have pretty darn good views because of the high verticality of the stadium. I appreciate how during Cavs games there is always music or a performance or jumbotron clip going on during breaks. There's never a dull moment! read more

Went to see Transiberian Orchestra and it was a great show. The only problem I had with the Q are the seats. I'm 5'4" and found tbe seats very cramped and tight. When sitting you can't stretch your legs a bit. It felt as though my knee would touch the seat in front of me and the worse was butt part. The seats are so short it barely cleared my rear end. The seat didn't even make it up to the middle of my thigh. Being that we are in the frigid weather it's quite uncomfortable with winter coats. Last but not least, I found it a bit frightening when walking in the aisles being the tiny floor room. It's so tight and small that it felt that I may fall over and topple over the seats. I saw another customer walking in a way to stay as far away from the back of the seats while walking down the aisle. For anyone unsteady, this is not a good venue. It truly felt like the creators built it for making as much money as possible no matter how uncomfortable the customers would be. read more

I've recently attended an event and I was told that my Passport was unacceptable to verify my age. I spent a lot of money for my tickets and traveled a long way for this show. I wasn't allowed to buy any alcoholic beverages, And to be treated so unkind for no reason was very disheartening. The workers were extremely rude about it and I was genuinely confused. They demanded I show them a state ID even though I said I'm not a resident here. I just want clarification to figure out if this was a personal attack or if I was being discriminated against. I still can't wrap my head around how a us passport is not a valid form of ID. read more

Have been for multiple events-sporting games, concerts and a bridal show. Staff are always friendly and venue is kept clean. I do wish there was more signage when it came to functions, as it is so big and you can easily get lost with all the staircases and elevator options. Check in is also usually pretty quick, and they are not overly invasive when it comes to security. read more
