Their friendly service just adds more to the experience, especially if you speak Spanish. They have a variety of stone fruit, such as plums, pluots, peaches, apricots, as well as avocados. They have cauliflower, broccoli, celery, corn, watermelons, and the list goes on. If your Spanish is a bit rusty, come by on Sundays, when Martha, one of the owners' nieces is there. She is a nurse during the week, and her English is perfect. ALL of the family members who work there are friendly and helpful. Even though they are open 7 days from about 8 AM til about 5 PM, I have found that the best days are Wed. and Sun. Do not be afraid to ask if they have fresher specimens of what is on display, they will fetch stuff from the large walk-in fridges, or even let you do that, if you have a mind to freeze a bit! Big plus, they also carry fresh made guacomole, chips, honey, Mexican candies and salsa. I submit to you that it doesn't get any better than this...really!
