I like salt and I like Oreos but for some strange reason I can't love Little Man's Salted Oreo ice cream. I've tried at three different locations and keep hoping it will be better. Aside from that, Rocket Ice Cream is a great little stop if you're in Lowry. Lots of outdoor seating and across from the Beer Garden. They have about 12 flavors plus their vegan and sorbet offerings. I absolutely LOVE this place! My two favorite things - beer at Lowry Beer Garden next door and ice cream at Rocket. The vegan options are excellent and it is so nice to have options as a vegan and plenty of regular options for the rest of our family. The staff is super fun, knowledgable and efficient. The line went quickly and when it was our turn, the two girls helping us wearing red shirts created a fun experience. The were great in how they were able to answer our questions and they were super sweet with our youngest daughter. We even bought her a t-shirt! The vibe is fun, relaxed, and inviting. The set up of this store is just... Amazing. It's picture worthy. They are part of Little Man, which explains the names of the flavors. Like Little Man, the ice cream flavors are noteworthy and worth your money. They give just a little less, in terms of the size of scoops, compared to their counterpart - Little Man. read more

Raspberry Love and Blueberry Buckle are great summer flavors! I've also had their French Toast flavor on a previous occasion and that flavor was so-so. It had Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal but since it's frozen in ice cream, there's really no crunch factor. I would come back for the raspberry and blueberry flavors specifically. read more

Such a bummer that we waited this long for "The Rocket" to open for neighborhood ice cream and the service is terrible. They have the menu sign next to the window but the "wait here" sign back by the patio, so when you walk up you get accosted for not waiting in line. Even my 8 year old was embarrassed after the girl behind the counter accused us of cutting the line. The ice cream was just ok, you get what you pay for I guess. So glad Glacier is just around the corner. read more

I stopped by on 04/18/18 around 6:30 p.m. I looked at the menu and made my decision within a couple of minutes. The guy that was working there never greeted me and never asked if I needed help! Instead of waiting on him, I just blurted out my order to him and he proceeded to make my order. He rung me and I gave my card to pay for my order and signed for it and left. Never once did the guy say one word to me! Except to ask me if I needed a receipt. I love going to this place since they have awesome ice cream. This place is amazing. Love having Little Man available in Lowry. Also love having Little Man available next to Beer! Great decision and great use of the space. Service is always fast, friendly and with a smile. One complaint I have is the doors on the service windows, the have very very sharp edges and corners and awkward positioning and on 2 occasions I have really hurt myself on them. I've been to this ice cream shop several times before and decided to go tonight to end our Sunday night with my boyfriend and sister. We arrived at approximately 9:02 and stood outside the stand a couple minutes before we realized it was closed. There were 3 ladies inside that failed to acknowledge us and I would even go to the extent of saying ignored us. As we walked into our car two women walked up to the stand and were IMMEDIATELY acknowledged by the person doing cash count. She didn't open the door but directed them to the sign with all the flavors. One of the two women walked over and back to the counter and the employee directed them to a side window as another employee served an ice cream. There was absolutely no exchange of money and the woman walked away with her free ice cream as we couldn't even get someone to acknowledge us. I understand they were closed already and did not want free ice cream, but this happened at 9:06. This reflects poor customer service and I would say racial bias on the employee's part. We are taking our business elsewhere and will let our friends to do so as well, as we cannot support a business that bluntly unjust. read more

Wow. Just wow. Such an amazing place - was "scooped" a super pretty and funny girl who was so fun to talk to! And the ice cream! The ice cream! Let me say it again THE ICE CREAM! The best I've ever had - I know it's little man but it tastes so much better here for some reason! Must be the staff! Paid for some ice cream and got an even better conversation! She was great! And to her manager make sure you hire back the Oregon girl, she's more valuable then anything you've got!! For SURE coming back and I'm telling all my friends about it! The ice cream is delicious for sure but the heavy set lady at the counter during the day isn't as sweet as what they serve. I've been to the small window twice and every time she seems to be annoyed to be at work. Nobody told her to scoop ice cream for a living she should take more pride in the job she applied for. I asked for a sample of the butterscotch and the lady working gave me a taste of the banana pudding, which had an ingredient I was allergic to in it. I then asked what was in the rocky road and she listed the ingredients for rocket fuel. It was an overall very unpleasant experience, she was distracted the whole time, and I ended up ordering an ice cream I did not enjoy because it was different than the one she gave me a taste of. Not to mention, I also ate my ice cream alongside an allergic reaction because of her poor listening skills and need to have a conversation with her coworkers while I was ordering. One star for abominable service--and who knows what for the ice cream itself? We never got any. Restaurant owners, listen up: no matter how cool you are (and the rocket is very cool), you have to have decent management and take care of your customers. We arrived on a busy Friday evening, about a dozen people in line, so we of course knew we'd wait--no problem. But after 10 minutes...2 or 3 had been served, and the line had barely moved. There were four (possibly five) happy young people in the glass enclosure all having a great time and ignoring the customers, and providing the most inefficient service conceivable. We finally left, very disappointed. It was clear we were going to wait for a half-hour or more while the Rocket staff enjoyed themselves. I'm fine with a long line that moves at a reasonable pace, showing that the servers are up to the task. But 10 minutes without moving? For just ice cream? This cool and quirky place is such a great addition to the neighborhood--why screw it up? Where's the manager? Won't be back. read more
