The shuttle was about 20 minutes late. None of the passengers as well as the driver wore masks. Mask wearing is not required.

This is a tough company to review. I have used them often, and the parts that work smoothly are really great. However, the parts that don't work smoothly are REALLY bad! The good: Nice drivers and staff Bathroom breaks once you pass the HCB (thank you!) Nice vans Door-to-door service The bad: Website should have approximate departure times from general areas (Sequim, PA, etc.) This would save a bazillion calls! Phones are SO busy that often you have no choice but to leave a message. This is nerve wracking when you are traveling. Wait times on the phone are long--I think 90% of my calls I've had to wait over 20 minutes on hold. Outgoing phone announcement encourages this nonsense by telling you to call "as often as possible" What? Seems like quarterly or seasonal updates to the website with approximate departure times could alleviate about 1/2 of the calls. This would free up the staff to actually answer questions for first-timers and make actual bookings rather than spend all their time calling people back telling them what the expected times are. TBH, an overhaul of the site that allows for online booking would be even better, but I don't know if that is financially feasible. I do appreciate that this service is available on the peninsula, and I make use of it a few times a year. read more

Lady on the phone was super accommodating and repeated all the information to be sure it was correct. I recieved a confirmation email as well as a phone call the day prior to confirm. My flight was delayed by 2 hours and Rocket accommodated me and got me on the next shuttle so that I only had to wait an hour. It's nice they give complimentary water and take a bathroom break somewhere around halfway. The driver Terri was nice, accommodating and a great driver. I would say it's a bit steep in price considering there were 6 other riders with me - at almost $75/ea they must make quite a bit. However their shuttles are new, well kept and the obviously spend the extra bucks for accommodations like the extra plastic handles to get in and out of seats, the water, on board free wifi etc. Will use again if I ever need to. After a friend boarded the van at the airport, the driver rudely told her to get off the van as she was coughing and another passenger was refusing to board as a result. She was coughing behind an earlier asthma attack. Fortunately, management intervened and she stayed on. Liked the lady that made my reservation (Lisa) but cannot recommend any service with drivers that have no problem stranding someone at the airport for being tired and coughing. read more

I contacted these folks for a ride to SeaTac from my house in Sequim. I was headed to Barcelona for medical & dental treatments. At the time I was barely able to walk, with leg braces, crutches and oxycodone. Ie., I was disabled and in significant pain. When their driver, Lloyd, pulled up at the first stop at the terminals (Alaska Airlines) he put my luggage out on the sidewalk and told us all to get out. I mentioned that my airline (Condor) was at the far end of the passenger unloading 'strip', he said, "Take the shuttle.", and drove off, eventually passing by the place I actually needed to be (it's a one-way street so he had to drive by my actual destination/terminal). Once inside the terminal I asked four or five of the airport's so-called employees, "Where's the shuttle?", and, "How far is it to Condor Air?". For some reason (stupidity or they just didn't give a sh$t?) none of them knew anything about anything. So, I started hobbling in the direction of the far end of the terminals, on crutches and trying to pull my luggage behind me. 45 minutes later, drenched in sweat and shaking in pain, I arrived at Condor Air. Talk about suffering. When I finally got to Barcelona, I emailed Rocket Transportation to complain about the abuse I had received from their driver and schedule a pickup after my return flight arrived. No response. Who treats disabled people like that? I won't use these creeps again, and I'm certainly thinking about suing them for pain and suffering. What losers. read more

Horrible experience. As a logistician it is important to have fail safes. They proved to have none. The immediate managers failed to ensure the routes for the next day were correct. This caused my wife to drive to the airport to take my daughter in which her flight left at 11:15. Out of the contact numbers listed on their website only one worked and the emergency number went to straight to voicemail. Took over one and a half hours to get a call back. If the emergency number worked. This could have been remediated. Horrible service. Now my wife is took off from work and I am 1700 miles away. To me Rocket lost my trust and proved the inability to manage a simple process. I have 19 year olds that hat work for me that can manage better. Horrible experience and garbage service. If I could give less than one star, I would. My Rocket Transportation experience was horrible from start to finish. I would never recommend them to anyone. I spent $215 for advance round-trip tickets for a friend and I to be transported to/from SeaTac International Airport to Port Townsend. In five of six phone calls with Rocket, the person fielding phone calls had an unprofessional and rude demeanor. All but one of my calls went directly to voice mail, and it took between one and four hours to get a return call, even though all calls were made during regular business hours. Information was not accurately relayed among the Rocket personnel -- and one time, the office person Dawn hung up on me when confirming what time Rocket would pick us up at the airport. Dawn was rude to me in other phone calls as well. We had to wait three and a half hours for our shuttle, which unnecessarily put us in heavy Friday night commute traffic. On the day we arrived, there was a six-hour gap between shuttle buses -- a 10:30 a.m. was the last before ours at 4:30 p.m. That was a shock, because just days before, there had been a 1:15 p.m. shuttle, which would have worked out perfectly for us. This was disturbing on another level as well because the office person John assured me when booking the shuttle a month in advance that he would work with us on scheduling the shuttle sometime between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. This huge delay meant we wouldn't arrive into Port Townsend until at least 7 p.m., even though our plane arrived earlier than its 12:55 p.m. arrival. We had our luggage and were ready by 1 p.m. yet there was no shuttle for several hours. The rental car agency closed Friday at 6 p.m. for the entire weekend, so we were without transportation for the first three days of our one-week stay. Thanks to Rocket, we had to pay $80 in taxi fares just to get a few groceries and then get to the car rental agency on Monday. It was equally difficult making return arrangements with Rocket Transportation to the airport. No matter how hard I tried to get confirmation for the return trip, I still had to call Rocket the day before, because info in my email and given over the phone was disregarded. To top it all off, the bus driver was a frighteningly distracted driver in both directions who only intermittently looked at the road and then jammed on the brakes. The bus ride itself totaled four and a half hours of fear. Needless to say, it was not a good use of my $215 investment in this company and I would never use them again. Unprofessional, ineffective, rude- what a horrible experience! 5 long hours from Port Angeles to Seatac including a 45 minute wait by the roadside in a hot packed van. The booking agent told me I would arrive by 6:00, ( later she changed her story). I was not told: I would be transferring vans. The second van was packed, the driver gave us no information, didn't run the AC most of the time. The worse part was when he pulled into a roadside layby and said there would be a delay. We sat there for 45 minutes in the heat waiting for another passenger who was being brought by yet another driver who had made a mistake and gone in the wrong direction. There was no water provided as other shuttles do, no information about the delay until much later, no communication from the driver at all. When I complained to the company I was told they decided that since no one had an immediate flight and most passengers were going to hotels it would alright to have us delayed without asking us. I had an appointment so it was not alright with me, others had dinner plans so it may not have been alright with them. A refund for the inconvenience and extremely uncomfortable experience was denied. The lack of any communication from the driver, an apology from the company, the refusal to issue a goodwill refund for a less than satisfactory experience and being over an hour late made this more than a bad experience- this is a poorly run operation. To add insult to injury the agent who had booked the trip and had told me there would be no problem arriving by 6:00 later changed her story. Remember the Better Business Bureau? This company should be reported for incompetence and rudeness. read more

Had a great ride from downtown Seattle to Port Townsend. The driver, Pete, was courteous as he could be. He was on time and the trip was smooth. I use both alternatives when it comes to getting to Seattle, but Rocket is my choice when I don't want a long wait at the airport before or after a flight. I was with Rocket recently when the peninsula was experiencing an ice storm, and cars were in the ditch along route 3. I wished that I had made arrangements to stay over, as the county reports said to stay home. But we had the best driver who drove slowly, carefully, and twice needed to find alternate routes as the road was blocked. He remained calm and focused, and delivered us all safely to our destinations. I would not hesitate to ride with this service, if all of their drivers are as careful and courteous as Steve. read more

These folks have a monopoly on door to door transportation if your flight gets in later in the evening. My suggestion would be to get in earlier if you can and take an alternative line. I had to wait for just over three hours at SeaTac for a pickup although during the booking I was told it'd be about an hour an a half. Ended up reaching my destination at 10 at night. Too expensive for shoddy service and difficult to get through on the phone. Never again. read more

I attempted on multiple occasions to get a quote on transport from Seattle to Port Townsend only to either reach a voicemail or be spoken rudely to by one of their agents. I would rather take a longer bus ride than to give these people my money. The folks at Olympic Bus are much friendlier...even though it's not 'door to door'. read more

My wife and I have used Rocket many times over the years. We have even booked Rocket to bring our daughter from SeaTac to Port Angeles. All trips have been really great. Can't beat the door to door service. Readine the reviews that have been negative, I can't understand the reason except for the fact that most of them were from Port Townsend people. I Booked Rocket from my home in Sacramento. Needed to go from SeaTac to Port Townsend to my sisters house.Quite a trip from the airport...2-1/2 hours ride...All details for booking were given in a friendly manner and questions quickly answered. On the day before my flight Scott called and gave me the name of my driver, his phone number and time of pickup..and offered to answer any questions...so off I fly the next day and when I land,my driver Pete calls and leads me thru directions to the pick-up area...Nice van, comfortable, very clean and Pete takes my bag and stores it and off we go...Smooth ride, great attention to rules of the road in such a congested area before heading out of town...awesome service..Our Super Blue Shuttles need to take some lessons from these guys....My return trip with Elisa the same, a friendly call the day before from Scott to make sure I knew the pick-up time and who my driver would be etc......This time the biggest van/limo....again super clean, super smooth and great attention again to a safe ride..she even asked half way thru the trip if any of us needed a rest stop break....I have no idea where the negative reviewers come up with their info...While in Port Townsend I got to meet the owner Kathy and a few of the drivers...and see their fleet...all are clean,well maintained and routed for the number of travelers...no one is crammed into full vans...and no I DO NOT WORK FOR ROCKET...I DO NOT THINK THEY WOULD BRAG ON THEIR GREAT SERVICE SO MUCH, maybe they should....Thanks Rocket.....Marilyn Suttle,Sacramento read more
