This place is amazing, not only was it very affordable compared to literally every other business…read morein this town. $10 for a burger here, where the other restaurants your paying close to $20, and besides the West Bay diner the other places were not even that good, I would say this place has the best burger in town, and is by far the most affordable. If I were to rate all the businesses in town by the Burger this would be the order. (future reviews coming) 1. Fired Up!!! food truck -Amazing Western Burger so good. Everything was great! 2. West Bay Diner-Smash burger super good! And so friendly!! :) Get a malt!---mmmm 3. Lake Superior Brewing Company, Big ass burger, with lots of fries and toppings. The bacon was off thou :(-Place is to busy, staff was arguing amongst themselves, poor management. 4. The break wall- literally zero taste but way way way to expensive, and potato chips with no other choices, Blah premade crap. Place was empty, couldn't tell it was a restaurant or a gift shop or what-seems confused like they are trying to hard. 5. The GM Tavern, tasted like it was a frozen patty on a soggy bun. Nothing here was good. Service was terrible. Half the staff sat at the end of the bar talking to themselves while customers appeared annoyed. Only plus. AC. Back to Fired Up!! I can not say enough good things about this place thou, every time we went here, the wait was not that long even when busy, the counter person was very friendly and informative and all the food was super good. OMG the breakfast burrito could feed a small village. WOW! The gkids loved the donuts!!! This town needs more food trucks! That is the way of every major metro area, something about food trucks they know whats up!!!

There's not a lot of food options in Grand Marais, MI. We woke up this morning (more like almost…read morenoon) looking for something to eat. We wanted breakfast but by the time we stumbled upon this food truck it had already stopped serving breakfast (11am) and switched to lunch. It was parked on the side of the road behind the Bayshore Market downtown. The owners are really nice, and the menu is huge. Prices are a little steep, but with limited options, you don't have much choice (and they know that). We each got a burger, cut them in half, so we could each try a different kind. The BBQ Bacon burger and the Swiss onion burger were the choices, with a side of cheese fries. Each burger was just shy of $10, for just the burger. The fries were $8 for a small paper tray of them. Over all everything was good. We were hungry. The BBQ Bacon burger was better than the Swiss onion, in my opinion. The bland cheese on the bland fries was like yellow soup that just made them soggy. They weren't seasoned or salted or anything. They were cooked perfectly as were the burgers. We didn't get drinks, so our two burgers and the soggy fries we shared was about $30 total. Seemed like I've said this a lot lately, but even this place wasn't anything to write home about. It wasn't bad!! It's just not anything more than over priced food truck grub that served its purpose. I walked away full. Thanks

This year they are in a new building which is great as their food menu expanded. I stopped in before close and as always the owner was super friendly and sweet. 5/5 -- A Hidden Gem Fueled by Faith and Great Coffee!…read more A few weeks back, I was riding my motorcycle through Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula on a trip from Maryland and stopped overnight in Munising. The next morning, I went searching for some good coffee and came across Rustic Grounds Coffee Trailer. As I looked over the menu, I saw a variety of great options and asked if I could make a small tweak to one of their specialty lattes -- no hesitation, no problem, they made it happen! When I took that first sip... wow. Smooth, balanced, and genuinely one of the best lattes I've had. I've traveled all over the world, and this little coffee trailer easily holds its own among my favorite stops. Top 10? Maybe not, but definitely my top favorite in the UP! (I'm originally from the UP, born and raised in.) While enjoying my drink, I noticed the cup had the outline of Michigan's Upper Peninsula with the words "Fueled by Jesus & Coffee." That made me smile. Then I saw the T-shirts hanging on a wall by the side of the trailer featuring Bible verses and faith-inspired designs -- such a great touch! This place is more than just a coffee stop; it's a reflection of love, faith, and community. If you're ever in Munising and want amazing coffee while supporting a small, family-owned, Christian business -- Rustic Grounds is absolutely the place to go. I'll definitely be back when I ride through the UP again!

So crispy they could double as Olympic gymnastic rings (if you could stop eating them long enough to try). The vibes are right up my alley.. there's a shaggy shepherd "watch dog" who clearly runs the place from his post on the deck. Don't be fooled, he's not just there for security... he's making sure you don't drop any fries. The person who took our order was hilarious! 10/10 would let her roast me while handing over my food again. The Lions game was playing next door and we were able to watch while still eating outside. If you're looking for good food, good laughs, and a side of doggy cuteness, this is the spot.

I love hotdogs and like to think of myself as an expert. I will drive hundreds of miles just to try one. In this instance, I drove 200 miles round trip, just to try Toby's Windy City ( Chicago dog ). Also ordered was a chili dog for my friend and tour guide and a plain, no bun dog for my friends dog, which there was no charge for! My friend and his dog gobbled theirs right down! Me, I was trying to get my phone to work so I could take pictures. No luck with that . Anyway, I would call my Chicago dog exceptional with just a few things needing to be done. 1. Toast that bun! It keeps it from getting soggy. Mine totally fell apart with the first bite. 2. It was on a regular bun not poppy seed. Maybe that's why it was called a Windy City dog 3. The dog could have been a bit hotter for me, I like mine well done. With those few things, I would still have to say that Toby's Dog House, is in for another visit from me!
