I had two great experiences the times I went, but as they say the third time is a charm. I came on Saturday afternoon, ordered fried oysters and shrimp. The dish was good but the bartender forgot the coleslaw. I also ordered a crab leg cluster at the time of ordering the fried basket. It never came after sitting for over an hour waiting for it. When I told the bartender to forget it she claimed that it was coming out. I told her okay fine I'd take it. Needless to say 30 minutes later it still never arrived. She took it off the tab but that does not excuse SORRY service. No coleslaw, no crab leg and all I get is sorry...Customer service sucks if you catch them on a bad day! read more

Me and some family have been here in the past and had so much fun that we wanted to do it again. Friday and Saturday is karaoke night and we really enjoy watching the customers get on the mic! The entrainment is great and the customers really get into the vibe and the music, played by a DJ. The food can be hit or miss. The sauce that is put on the seafood is fabulous. I like steamed rice with my seafood boil, however the steamed rice was not the best I've had. This place is really busy and it seems that the kitchen is trying to get the food out timely but they miss the mark on a few things. The server that we had, I've read good reviews about her attentiveness and she did not disappoint! Recommend by a customer of mines to try this spot and I must say. It definitely was worth it. I bought a crab boiler from Juicy Crab and decided to buy the crawfish tray (4-5lbs) from Rockin' crab and it was a full tray filled with corn and potatoes. For the cost of juicy crab and rockin' I would choose rockin'. It was definitely flavorful. I'm going to try their crab boiler bag next. Great seafood boil restaurant in Stockbridge. Friday & Saturday nights are karaoke nights for entertainment.

This has been on our pending "to try" list since we saw the coming soon sign. We came here on Sunday for dinner around 6-630 and we got lucky and was able to be seated right away. We did partake in since adult beverages, despite it being SO cold outside I still went with the I believe it's called the Rockin Colada (it's on their signature drink list) which was a had of a mix of strawberry and the bf had a Hennessy margarita which he said was verryy strong so take that however you'd like. For food I went super basic and just got a fried shrimp platter with sweet potato fries. Simple but DELISH. The shrimp were pretty large and they were breaded amazingly. The sweet potato fries I was very happy with because a lot of places don't get them right and they had them skinny and crispier just the way I enjoy them. The bf had one of the combos with cream legs and shrimp with the signature sauce and he said they were pretty good and he enjoyed them. My only real issue is the air was on blast which would prob be ok during summertime but Atlanta has betrayed us and nighttime is full on winter. So we had to eat with our sweaters and coat on. Also note this is in a lot with a taco Mac and an Applebee's so the parking lot is bound to always be packed but there's plenty you may or may not just have to take a little walk. UH MAY ZEENG. My hubby and I visited while in town for a vacation. This was such a great choice. The atmosphere, the service, and of course the FOOD was PHENOMENAL. The seafood was cooked perfectly and seasoned so, so well. I got mild, garlic butter seasoning, my husband got extra spicy garlic butter. OMG. On Saturday Dec 3rd I had some family in town. It was her birthday and she wanted seafood. So, I suggested we go to Rockin Crab because the food is always good and we can catch up. Well, that was a mistake, I had no idea it was a karaoke night. The DJ had the music so loud I couldn't even hear myself talk. You would think a DJ would know better to have it so loud in a small establishment like that. I literally had to yell in our waitress Jess ear to order our food. Needless to say I couldn't even talk to the people at our table nor catch up with my family because the music was so loud it was literally no point. At some point you would think management would tell the DJ to lower the music a bit, but that's to much like right ‍. I ordered the whiting fish with fries and a drink called "the night cap" the fish was good just a bit undercooked so I didn't finish it in fear of food poisoning, the fries were disgusting and not seasoned. So, I packed up my fish to take home to recook it. Another thing is you can't substitute you side for another if you don't want fries. I feel if I'm paying my money I should be able to get the side I want if I don't want those nasty fries. My drink on the other hand was amazing and well balanced I must say. All in all. I probably won't go back on a Friday or Saturday because those are karaoke nights because of the volume of the music was just distasteful. Just be mindful that if you go on those nights just plan not to be able to talk to your party because you won't be able to hear them at all. read more

I had an Uber eats coupon for $20 off and I decided to try this place as a treat. I ordered the 1/2 pound of shrimp with corn and potatoes, I added some sausage, 3 boiled eggs and everything seasoned with lemon pepper, Cajun seasoning, and butter. My order did arrive on time so s/o to my Uber eats driver and my food was still pretty warm, no complaints there. However, the sauce was salty. I would order again but I will be more conscious about the sauce choice and will stick with just garlic and butter. The seafood just right. Came in and there's were two people at the front. I was seated right away, but next to the front door. I usually lie to be away from the bathroom or most door traffic while eating. My waitress came over after a few minutes. she took our order right away. I'm guessing she got busy s the manager brought our food. He also brought my Stella Artois from the bar as it didn't get it before the food came out and requested it from him. The food was ok, the chicken finger basket was impressive because they were huge. The food was amazing. I'm from Missouri traveling down here for work and there's many places in Springfield that call themselves southern restaurants but it doesn't get as good as the real deal. Crawdeads were good, andouille and shrimp too. The last few times I've been down customer service hasn't always been the best, but tonight my server was Jeda.
