The Martin Jr in stock was hanging with the other guitars was ready to play & she set me up to try it out. They had a good selection Martin accessories including a good assortment of guitar strings including the Martin brand so I also bought a spare set of the Martin LifeSpan Phosphor Bronze Light strings. I was short on time so did not get a chance to fully take in the ambience & experience of Dan & Sara's music store, but reading up on Crossroads before hand on their website & stepping into their store, I felt the warm embrace of some good vibes, and appreciate their community involvement in local music events in this very charming waterfront town. I like contributing to local businesses so I not only walked away with a very nice Martin acoustic electric guitar, it felt rewarding to give back. I hope to explore more of the Washington peninsula & look forward taking more time visiting Port Townsend & Crossroads Music.

Not only did the major stuff get fixed, but also every nick and scratch was filled, smoothed and removed. The cello looks a lot better now. Also, he saved us some money by working on repairing existing pieces, instead of just replacing the bow. He did advise us on better handling of the bow to avoid future problem, and also that the bow fix could be just a temp thing, and might still fail. That was back at end of March. I started playing guitar as an adult, and had little idea of what I wanted to get out of the hobby. After years of sporadically learning pieces of songs from online lessons, I came around to the conclusion that I enjoyed guitar enough to take it more seriously. Initially, structured online lessons yield great results, but I quickly started hitting skill plateaus that forced me to move in a different direction to feel like I was making progress. After diversions into music theory, gear acquisition, and some in-person instruction, my interest in guitar was stronger than ever, but I just wasn't getting that much better at playing the thing. Pascal's level of professionalism and organization are superb... not to mention his guitar skills. I've been working with Pascal for over a year now and I am THRILLED with the progress I have made. Pascal creates a safe environment and always offers me a challenge. Lessons are clearly tailored to the unique needs/interests of each client. Not to mention, his level of patience is that of a saint. I've never felt rushed or judged, even when I show up with little practice time put in current material. (Those days are usually reserved for theory). It is uncommon to meet people with the level of passion and dedication Pascal has cultivated for himself. I needed to pull back on all extra commitments for a while. I asked to pause my ongoing lessons and ...guess what? Because I can't take the lessons right now, I LOSE THEM, per company policy. $200 down the drain on these folks. This is terrible customer service and very bad business practice (if not illegal). Trust Pilot and BBB are my next stops.
