With the release of pokemon mega evolutions I was diligent in calling the store to confirm dates, pricing, and availability of what they would have for sale. I was told they would be selling booster boxes of this set, but they couldn't reveal any pricing to the public. I really just wanted an idea of what to expect to spend on a box to pull money out of savings for it. I was told they believed everything would be at MSRP on release day. after waiting three hours in line to be the second in the store, we were immediately told they would not be selling boxes and limiting product to 1 of each individual item plus a limit of 12 packs. All fine, I completely understand wanting to have product for more customers. We were told the buy a box promos for the enhanced boosters couldnt be sold yet and that they would be used for events instead. Annoying but I get it. Then when they go to ring up everything I start noticing the prices coming up are crazy prices. 90 for ETB, 45 for booster bundle and packs almost 9 a piece. the most packs you could get is 27 and that runs a little over 250. a box of 36 packs at msrp is 160. almost double the price for less packs. I do not recommend spending money here because they do not in fact care about the actual players or fans of the games and is essentially a price gouging storefront. The prices are always market on release, and they do everything they can to combat people hogging product while keeping prices fair. They have everything you need for games and it won't break your bank to do it. To summarize I DO NOT recommend shopping here. read more

Love Game wizard and always have a very friendly staff. My only gripe is that they don't carry as much collectibles/action figures as they used to and mostly the ones they have are old and overpriced. For the gaming side of things they are great though and give good suggestions. read more

Fantastic game shop. The owner and staff are always helpful and happy to discuss various games. They have a HUGE selection of table top games. They also sell miniatures and painting supplies comic books lattes and sodas (the coffee bar is fantastic) Downstairs they have a bar that also serves snack food, and private game rooms along with huge game playing area that hosts various games on different nights (Yu Gi Oh, Trivia, Gaslands, etc. etc. ) There's a schedule printed. The street they are on has parking, and little bistros here and there. It's an ok place to park and walk to the store. read more

Went there for Pokémon cards. Found some cool singles. Got a holo foil croconaw from Ex Dragon Frontiers. The card was priced at $6, but I got charged $10 for it. I didn't realize until after I left the shop and got home, now I'm out $4+tax. It's the principle of it that upsets me. Won't be back here.... read more

Man, I think this place wouldn't be that bad if they didn't blatantly over charge for their trading cards. How do you look at someone in the eye and charge a great deal more over than the market price. Is your mortgage or rent really that steep? It's out right disrespectful and not to mention your clerk is condescending. I'm not a cheap consumer, I pay extra for quality and will go out of my way to support local businesses, but when I get a gut feeling that I'm being ripped off for no good reason, then well you just lost a customer solely out of principle. read more

I come in here from time to time to pick up a book or two and write in the downstairs cafe (Helm's Deep). Food is quite good. The one issue (which doesn't matter to me) is that cell service can be quite variable and weak in the cafe. Nice to find a place without five or six tv screens, screaming video games and the like. read more

This is a great store. The game selection is amazing and includes everything from Battle Foam cases and trays to board games to Magic. Staff are always helpful and there is a huge playing area. Bring a game, ask to learn one, and there are folks there to join in. Also have a large selection of rockets and RC planes. Worth the stop on the way home from the ferry dock. read more

They sell a lot of stuff for models and even have an airbrushing area to work on your stuff. Large gaming areas. Staff is friendly. They sell coffee. Convenient loaction. This place is the best comic and game shop I've ever seen. Arcade is weak. The place is huge with a café in the center and they have Italian soda. Tons of board games, rpgs, accoutrements for every game. 30 gaming tables downstairs. My son went in here with my husband while I stood outside with the dog...did I menti it was raining. One of the employees came out to give some love to my dog and then let me know it was okay for us to come inside. The place is huge and nicely laid out. They also have a full coffee bar! Most stores dealing with Game specific hobbies lack a social interaction with customers, but Blue Sky is quite helpful. My wife, who isn't much of a gamer, was easily able to interact with the employees and they did a great job helping her understand and maintain interest. To be clear, my wife isn't a gamer whatsoever. This is the place to go for product in-stock (most places make you have to special order everything and I think to myself isn't that what the internet is for) as well as a clean organized store. To top it all off they have an espresso machine, so if you want to hang out for hours you can get a coffee. read more

This game store is AMAZING!! The staff is exceptionally friendly and out going, their stock on everything is the best in the area, and the gaming area is huge! They have plenty of room to support large events without it feeling cramped inside, and plenty of tables for whatever game you're playing. Being a military family, we often search for a built in community when we move to a new location. We are a gaming family,too. So naturally when we found out Bremerton had a game store downtown, we went to check it out. It's been 4 years now and we love this place! We love supporting local business. In a world where Amazon can SOMETIMES get you a better deal, I would much rather come here and peruse the large selection of games! They also carry Legos! I love to bring my kids here. Date nights with my husband happen here as well. If you're looking for a place that has knowledgeable, friendly staff who also make a mean Italian soda AND can answer questions on the latest expansion of Pandemic or Magic, this is where you need to go! read more

This store is an absolute gem for gaming, and I honestly can't tell you how excited I was to stumble upon it when considering moving to the area. They have an expansive gaming area for tabletop RPGs, wargaming, and board games, and a great stock of models and games for a wide range of hobbies. I used to really like this place. It is clean with a great selection of games and accessories, with a large gaming space. The customer service, however, has never been strong. At first I just thought they were indifferent, as they were never attentive or particularly excited about helping customers. A recent encounter wherein one of the owners treated me like a child when I asked the location of an item, directing my actions ("turn around. Now walk. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going."), has turned me away once and for all. There are more game stores around, with warmer and more sociable staff. read more

I cannot praise Blue Skies enough. They have just about anything you could want. They have a huge Pokemon Card selection (singles, packs, plushies, coins, and pins). They have Yugioh and a huge magic selection (literally just about anything). Oh and figure games like Warhammer all along one of the stores walls and Gundam figures and paints for figures. They also do DnD and many customers come here to play. The whole bottom floor is tables and the back has tables to play at. They are flexible with prices of certain items and will gladly look up the prices for you or give you advice if it's not too busy. They have board games, a coffee stand, shirts, comics, card games that I didn't even know existed, along with popular ones like cards against humanity. Did I mention they have Friday night magic tournaments and release days? Or that they host Pokemon tournaments? What about open tables to just play games whenever? I've recently gotten into magic and they have given me a ton of advice and spent hours (collectively, not all in one day) on looking up cards that can go well in my deck. Service and selection are amazing here. The main manager is a father and deals with children very well, Ben (the one with a hat) is super friendly and loves to geek out over magic. Coffee is great, they will work with what they've got if you're particular (like me), and their prices often reflect eBay's prices. If not better. Seriously, these guys are the bees knees. read more

MTG player here. Card shop seemed like a cool place to play some MTG, in which I did on a pre-release day. Everything was great. I decided to go back a few weeks later to play in a standard tournament. I placed 1st place. When prizes were given out, I was empty handed. They awarded prizes to the 2nd place finisher who was tied with another. Their reason being, "they both played great games". I soon found out they often do this to new players and keep the prize pool within their "click". Will not play MTG here again, warning to all new players! Will be contacting Wizard's, but not expecting discipline. read more
