Don't even want to leave 1 star. I went there to look at a used car, they told me it went through service and all was good. The door rubber molding was hanging out of the car door, trunk wouldn't shut all the way and the hood latch wouldn't work until you have 2 people to work it. OK that's fine, so manager brings up service manager and he has a major attitude walked by me without introducing himself or shaking my hand. So I wanted the car for my son so I went inside to try and work out an agreement. Then they said there was a dock fee $125 dollars, normal but then there was ALSO A GET READY FEE OF $2,100 that's on top of of normal taxes and registration fee. What crooks. I have not been to this dealership, BUT, this dealership is part of an attempted identity theft. I was at work when I received the notification. A HARD INQUIRY BY CAPITAL ONE ON 09/20/2019 AT 11:07AM was added to my credit report. I called Capital one and spoke with Felipe (Manager) who confirmed the application they received under my social security number did not match my name, DOB and address. He also confirmed the application was received at Capital one at 11:07am Eastern on September 20th, 2019. Felipe at Capital one provided me with the information to the dealership who requested the credit report, the dealership is Rockland Nissan in Blauvelt, NY. This exact one!!!!!!!!!! I called Rockland Nissan at ph#: 845-358-6700 and spoke to a sales manager whom looked up the application with the last four of my social security, he also confirmed that the application was not in my name, DOB, nor my address, he stated the address on the application is linked to Bridgeport, CT., I live near Hoboken, NJ and work in the Edgewater area. Due to privacy purposes he was unable to provide additional information, (understandable) I was told I would be contacted TODAY by the dealers General Manager David, but that's yet to happen. I contacted the Better Business Bureau for both Rockland Nissan and Capital one requesting they fix this matter ASAP on my credit report. I live 20 miles away from Rockland Nissan, and I purchased a 2014 Pathfinder SV in October. Before completing the purchase, I had an awesome detailed inspection done by Lemon Protector's. There were a few things that needed repair/replacements before I completed the purchase, including changing of all four tires. For the third time in 6 months, the car began having acceleration problems and also one of the tires just went flat. So, I made an appointment repair with a loaner. To start, the loaner was given to us dirty inside. Then, the whole day goes by, and I get a call telling me, they can't determine why the car is having acceleration issues because a donut is on. Next, when I asked why the flat tire in the trunk wasn't repaired/replaced like I asked, since they were installed there, he said "WE HAVE NO RECORD OF YOUR TIRES BEING CHANGED UPON PURCHASE!" HUH!? So, did they lie to my husband and I, about our safety for the sale!? When I insisted all four tires were done there, he told me "they're rare tires and we don't carry them. So, you need to pick the car up have the tire replaced, then bring it back for analysis of the the acceleration problem". Simply Crazy! they're a Nissan dealership and can't get tires for a Nissan SUV? However, When I got back home and googled the tire size for the car, to my disbelief it was available at several stores from Costco, Sams Clubs, Mavis Tires, Goodyear, etc, and I was able to have it done within a day. So much for it being a "RARE TIRE"!! I purchased an extended warranty thru Nissan Rockland, and after both of these experiences, I will be looking into the possibility of canceling out what's left of it and purchasing another one that will allow me to go to a dealership that's trustworthy! Signed the papers yesterday and went back today to do the financing paperwork to only wait 3 hours to be told I was not approved. Such misrepresentation on the part of the worker Miguel. He told my Aunt and I yesterday that we were approved and to come back today to pick up our new vehicle and only to come to find out we didn't get anything and the general manager said we were never supposed to come in until we were called. I highly recommend the service department at Rockland Nissan. My husbsnds truck was having a Abs issue, upon leaving the truck several other issues were discovered. The service mechanic sent us photos of the issue and explained the problem. He told us the cost of the repair. I expressed concern over the expense and he said he would help us out and find some Nissan coupons. I'm told the tires that came with my BRAND NEW car at 28,000 miles need to be replaced! They are evenly worn, have been rotated. They are just crappy tires. Nissan says I'm not covered bc it is a wear and tear item. They also told me to contact Hankook bc there is a warranty and prints me out a write up on my tires and everything, stating the warranty for up to 65,000 miles. Hankook tells me there is no warranty. I called 2xs. The first time, I'm told there is nothing they will do and I should take it up with Nissan. The second time, they offer to give me a number filing a complaint. The back of my Nissan warranty book has a whole section on tires. (Two of the 3 numbers listed in that book don't even work.) I even went as far to call corporate and they also tell me that I will have to take it up with Hankook because I purchased the tires from them. They only cover replacement tires, not the OEM tire. Original Equipment tires, these are the tires that come with your brand new car?! This whole thing seems like a giant scam. They put "Play Skool" tires on new cars. Or they changed them out for used ones?! As I'm trying to find a solution to this tire issue, I'm also following up on the Protect All coverage they up sold me. I purchased extra coverage for small dents, scratches, cleaning upholstery when stained...that sort of thing. They said I could bring it in and it would be taken care of, easy breezy. I have small children and they said "if a child vomits, which they tend to do... you bring it in and we clean it for you." Not the case. You bring it in and service looks at you like you have 2 heads because they have never heard of such a thing and asks me to see the contract info. Fine print says, you get an estimate then you have to submit the claim (snail mail) and then they decide if they will cover it. So I have them write me up the estimate, since I'm there. I sent in my claim over a month ago and crickets. So that seemed like a scam. I then call and follow up. The Protect All people tell me that the claim is missing a TON of details that they need to process my claim. It needs pictures, an exact amount in labor costs, not an estimated amount...Nissan sells me this coverage and doesn't even know how to fulfill a claim properly. So I have to waste ANOTHER day so they can do their job correctly. I'd really just like my $700 back at this point. read more

Went to Nissan to purchase a car. Highly recommend to ask for Miguel Rodriguez. He did an excellent job at at being patient and informative about our needs. He really took the time to take care of us and assist us in making this big purchase. It never felt like he was trying to sell us on any gimmicks, he kept it real and maintained highly-satisfying customer service. The unpleasant experience came when we dealt with the finance manager, Anthony Gianccasito. He completely ruined the end experience for us as we were closing the deal; the only thing he focused on was getting out of there to make it in time for whatever plans he had (it was 5:30 PM). I don't care if you guys close at 6PM-- we had been in there for 4 hours at that point, of course we wanted to leave too!! I went to trade in my car has I have done before, I don't know who they think they are but this time I was greeted with so much disrespect it is unbelievable. This was the first time I went in there without my father. Being 27 years old and a long time customer I thought I wouldn't get the run around; I was wrong. I was not spoken to directly by the GM who was standing right in front of me, rather the man asked the salesman, "Is this the young lady I will be dealing with?" ON MY WAY TO THEM they called me and told me, "We know you went to one of our sister stores. Do not come back here, we are not giving you the deal we talked about." They are dishonest people; liars, and will NEVER nor recommend anyone to use this particular dealership! This is the third vehicle purchasing/leasing experience I've had at a dealership and it's the only one I am compelled to write a review on. I truly had a terrible experience dealing with this dealership. Beware. The problems can begin when you leave, don't base overall satisfaction on friendliness from a sales consultant. They do not care about you, they care about commission. Rockland Nissan stands out poorly to me because not only do they sell you extended warranty plans that you do not need just to gain extra commission (all dealerships try to), but more so because I was lied to and told that I needed to purchase one to get low percentage financing through the bank. I agreed, but asked for a certain one and was sold another. A copy was to be sent within 7 days. No contract was ever mailed to me (almost two years passed) and I was kept in the dark about where my money went. After investigation, I realized I was given something that I didn't need at all. I was sold a package that covers basically just mechanical failure. Why would a basically new car have mechanical failure? If they believe that they're selling almost new cars that can have unexpected mechanical failure, then that says something about them. This plan sold to me was obviously a scam. Then, when I attempted cancelling the contract to get SOME of the money back, they gave the biggest runaround. I was told 30 days for the refund to be sent, this was false. I called and called the dealership to be told "I'll check that out" or "I'm going to give you back a call in a few minutes". Weeks passed and Nissan corporate has never received any documentation that I signed at the dealership. The dealership has either lost or simply conveniently "forgot" to the cancellation. Super disorganized and unprofessional! Never going to get my business again. I will tell everyone in my professional and personal circles to stay away. read more

I don't know how this place sells cars. I'm buying a new car in 2 weeks. I first went to the Toyota dealer down the road from Nissan. Toyota experience was good: friendly greeting on entering, immediate help. Told the salesperson what I was looking for and she showed me a number of options. I also went to the Subaru dealer. Again friendly service, guy got all my information to follow up with later, showed me around the lot. Actually saw some things that I liked better than the Toyota dealer. And THEN: Nissan. No body bothered greeting me when I walked in, and there was no one but Nissan personnel sitting around talking to themselves. So I go up to the main desk and say I'm interested in 4 wheel drives. She looks pissed that I interrupted her conversation with another employee. She sends me over to another desk, where again, 2 employees are too engrossed in their conversation to bother looking up. Finally I said, I'm looking for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. He shouts across the dealer ship, Hey (whatever her name was) this guy is looking for a truck. No I am not looking for a truck. I go to the salesperson who is sitting at her desk. No greeting, no handshake, she seems to be pre-occupied looking for some files. Doesn't even bother looking me in the eye. I say do you have any 4 wheel drives: she points to a car on the showfloor . I say Is that the Only One? yes. In the meantime she doesn't bother to get up from her desk, or even stop looking for whatever was in the file drawer. I start looking at the car. One of the employees is literally sitting a desk right in front of the drivers side door, so I can't even open the door. I turn around and walk out, never to return again. Incredible. Everyone is very helpful and make me feel very welcome. I bring my car for services for pass 2 years and never have a problem with them. Normally i always try to be the 1st one at 730am. And they will make sure i get my car back asap. They always help me coupon match see which deal i will get the best. I very appreciate their help. I only give 4 star because when i Purchased the car i realize small little scratch around the radio screen. Couple months later it got worst it a defect from the inside screen and now it look like big crack from inside. If i want to change it it will cost over $700. The Regional Manager David is EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE. I went to Rockland Nissan on June 10th to assist my sister with getting a car. We Stayed there for several hours and wanted to go home to discuss the numbers. The regional manager got ANGRY and came to our car as we were leaving and said since you're not doing the sale today i need all the papers ( car fax/ papers she signed with her info on it) and began snatching them out my sister's hands before she could even give it to him. We asked for the keys to my sister's car ( for the second time) and he said it was inside however my sister has a press to start car and when she pressed it it came on which means the key is in or near the car. Things started getting weird like he was trying to force us to stay so I decide to go in and get the keys instead. from the front door I heard him repeatedly yelling " THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE SALE" over and over talking to the sales reps but there were customers in the store that could hear him and myself. I walked over and said " I'm here now you can stop talking about me and give me my keys to leave". I am not exaggerating when I say he got in my face and yelled " you are not worth the sale" several time while dangling my keys. I told him to go on vacation !!! As I was walking out the rude lady at the front desk said something and I told her to go on vacation as well. Yes I yelled I was humiliated in front of the whole store. he thinks he's untouchable because he's the regional manager and the only person above him is the owner and I can't get in contact with the owner unless I go through him!!! My car was in an accident, so I brought it into the dealership for a quote. I was told that the quote is free. I decided to pull out the vehicle and not do the work there. All of a sudden there was a $125 bill to release my vehicle. I called "customer relations" and asked if there was a charge for a quote, without revealing who I was. She said no. After she confirmed that, I told her my story. All of a sudden she had an urgent call come in, and she had to put me on hold. (I didn't know that she doubled as a 911 operator.) She came back with a completely different story, and told me that everyone in the shop knows that there is a charge, so no one could have told me its free. I have had my leased Nissan Pathfinder for less than two years and took it in for a scheduled oil change. I came out with an estimate for almost $1,000 worth of work needed, including tires and brakes. These are all "maintenance" items so are not covered. I don't even have 27,000 miles! I questioned how all 4 tires are bad so quickly and I was told the tires had a no tread warranty, meaning there is no warranty at all. I called Nissan headquarters and they said there was nothing they could do to assist. The dealer chooses what tires to put on a car. They obviously chose to put very poor quality tires and brakes on this vehicle. The whole point of leasing is to avoid costly repairs on a practically new vehicle.
