    Mel Dixon is wonderful! 2nd time working with her to purchase a pre-owned Subaru. Again very professional, easy to work with, lightening fast replies to questions, goes above and beyond to help with information, photos, videos of the car when requested. Felt very confident that we were leaving with another great car! So far we love our new Forester!! Thank you Mel!!

    Great experience buying my first SUBARU at Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru. Got a buy back can and they were very transparent and upfront they told me it was a buy back (I already knew but was gratifying knowing they were honest and sincere and told me about it) showed me all the documents for the reason why it was a buy back, worked out with me to get a great deal. Overall very satisfied. In general there is a great vibe. I didn't feel pressured to buy the car, everyone seems to be happy working there. I would really do business with them again. Really recommended.

    My car disabled on 87

    BUYER BEWARE I am writing this on shoulder of I-87 in my disabled forester. I bought the car new 5 years ago and have since had countless problems with it. Before the vehicle had 70k miles on it the engine needed to be completely rebuilt. The breaks have completely locked up twice and ground to nothing. The engine has died while driving the vehicle in spite of both the gas gauge and the car computer saying the vehicle has 10-20% fuel capacity and 50-60 miles of range. This is at least the 7th time I have been stranded on the highway in dangerous conditions. There have been times when I have dealt with the service department where they have been rude or told me the persistent problems that i have had with my car didn't exist. I have had to bring my car back in multiple times to have the same repairs made because they were botched or not performed fully. I am done with subaru, and I certainly am unhappy with how bill kolbs service department has handled both me and my vehicle. I have a very legthy list of customer service investigations and complaints with subaru's corporate headquarters, but they have gotten me nowhere other that stranded on the side of the road once more.

    Well, it took me just over two months to write this review because I wanted to fully evaluate each aspect of this dealership since I had a couple of things that did happen and wanted to see how everything was handled. I got my new 2018 Subaru Forester Limited back in the end of this past April and I love how this was a haggle free buying experience. I initially went two 2 other Subaru dealerships and did not get the deal that Bill Kolb Jr. offered me and got more features on my new Forester that I anticipated. The Eyesight feature alone was the best part because I am saving more than $600 a year on my insurance. Juan, the salesman was amazing and very patient with me and was able to make that deal happen since this technically the first car I have under my name. Also, was very thorough in explaining the features of the car when I went to pick up the car. My situation was unique and understand that this piece took a little bit of time, but in the end it all worked out. So, i know sometimes things are not perfect when you first buy a new car because I've had it happen to me before. I drive away and noticed once I was close to home that my stereo system sounded off that the sound was only coming from the back and not the front. I know that my Harmon/Kardon speakers were not suppose to sound like that. I called to express my concern and the representative that assisted me over the phone was helpful and suggested that I bring the car back to have it looked at. Gary, the service representative was very helpful and thorough in explaining what happened, which happen to be an extra fuse and then my speakers sounded fabulous! I then drive away and switch to my AM/FM radio after I crossed the Tappan Zee and that was not working for some reason. I ended up waiting to go back when I got my first oil change today because the dealership is relativity far away from me. Got my oil changed and Gary was very helpful, yet again. The radio was fixed and now I fully love my new Forester! The only thing I was surprised about is that I did not get my first oil change for free, which I found kinda odd because this is the 6th new car I have purchased in my lifetime and the previous 5 all got their first oil change for free. My overall experience was definitely more than expected and would return here for a future purchase, along with recommending them to my friends are in the market for a new vehicle.

Do not rely on google reviews. Have owned my 2019Toyota rav4 for 7 years with excellent maintenance, and currently under 65/70k miles. Every Toyota service center I've been to has been a consistent cost, with the exception of an extra charge when necessary. I nearly choked when I got a call saying my bill at this scam center was 300% more than I've ever paid. THREE HUNDRED % MORE. They are sneaky about it; they induce stress, doubt, and create scenarios that make you second guess if doing nothing impacts your safety. "Corroded" and "rusted" seemed to be trigger words they use over the phone to their customers. Adjectives used on my car that is serviced every 5k. Sure.. When I asked for further explanation of my statement (blonde service member), I was dismissed, she rushed off. She didn't come over to me to explain what was being done even though she knew I was staying, but rather chose to call me. A less confrontational way for her to manipulate and an easier way to get out of explaining this. Older male (ralph I think) also used these tactics ^. The 300% more service statement for both instances showed a measly time ACTUALLY spent hands on my car. I had called so many times asking to see how the services are coded and billed. There was also no labor rate noted anywhere on my statement. I cannot put more emphasis on the amount of deception occurring in this center, and the entire Lia auto group. Females be wary.
